Doctors
Ronald K. Downs, M.D., F.A.C.S. founded The Centre, P.C. in Elkhart, Indiana in 1992. He is an active member in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Downs is also a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The American Medical Association, The Ohio Valley Plastic Surgery Society, The Rush Surgical Society, and The Indiana State Medical Association where he serves on the board of directors and has served as the president from 2003 to 2004.
Dr. Macias is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. In addition to her comprehensive surgical training, she was also selected to present her surgical research at several regional and national plastic and reconstructive surgery conferences. Dr. Macias enjoys the complexity of surgical procedures, intricate anatomy plastic, and reconstructive surgery. She has a special interest in breast surgery, body contouring, and cancer reconstruction.

A: Our tattoo removal laser works by fragmenting the ink in the tattoo so that the body carries it away in the lymphatic system. Our Picosure laser fragments the ink into sugar particles and is the fastest tattoo laser in the world. Sessions required depends on the size of the are, the colors in the tattoo, and the placement of the tattoo. 6 session are recommend and the cost varies from $2500-$3500. Or you can pay as you go and that would be $450-$700 per session. Again this is based on the size, color and placement. Good Luck!

A: Thank you for this wonderful question! I typically will release my patients to do self massage and have facials, including the nose, at 4 weeks post-operative. I always encourage patients to follow up with their Board Certified Plastic Surgeon as he/she may have a post-operative recovery plan in place that is tailored specifically for your needs. I like to follow up with my patients in our Centre Yourself Medical Spa for facial treatments and care following all cosmetic surgeries. A: Thank you for this wonderful question! Laser-assisted liposuction is designed to be a one-time treatment. The fat cells are permanently removed with the contour result and minimal skin tightening progressing over the next 3-6 months. It is important to understand that liposuction is not an alternative to a healthy diet and exercise rather a compliment to those stubborn small areas that have not responded as well. I am always very careful to discuss with my patients the importance of a stable weight within 10-15% of the goal weight as we are contouring for where they are now not where they wish to be. Good communication and informative consultations are extremely beneficial when it comes to deciding on a body contouring treatment. Do not be afraid to ask questions! I provide a personal concierge for my patients; she is available at any time to discuss possible treatments and scheduling even before the initial consultation is scheduled.
