Today is the day!!!
I'm having a mini TT with lipo and a huge lipoma removed from the right side of my waist while they're at it! You can see the Lipoma in the front view picture.
I am extremely excited!! Not nervous one bit! It's been my dream to have a nice flat tight stomach for years! My two kids are now 18 and 19 years old so I've wanted this procedure for ever! I am 14% body fat, I weigh 135 and I'm 5"3'. I am a personal fitness trainer and I am a Crossfitter, it's going to be the hardest thing in the world for me to not be able to go to Crossfit for supposedly 8 weeks but I know I'm going to love my results and be able to wear just about anything without having to worry about my fat spilling over my pants. Today is Thursday and I need to be back training my clients in 5 days! I've already told them I can not lift their weights for them for a couple of months, I'm so used to handing everyone their weights and demonstrating but I know I can't do that. Everyone is fine with that of course, im just worried that if I tell one of them to do something and they don't understand, how can I show them if I can't demonstrate? Oh well I'll figure it out, lol!
I've included 3 pictures, the first two are me standing up obviously, and the third is me bending completely forward with my torso parallel to the ground which shows how lose my skin actually is. This is why when I go to the beach I can't take my clothes off unless I'm lying down, cause I actually think my "lay down body" is pretty decent lol
Ok 5 hours till surgery! I'll update later! Woohoo!

My boyfriend took these two pics after they drew all over my stomach I was so excited here! Now I'm home recovering, they put a drain in me which is fine and actually the most pain I'm feeling is from the lipoma they removed! I can't seem to walk straight it feels like it's pulling and also it feels wet on that undergarment they put on me and you can see slight pink blood coming through, so it's oozing but thank god I have a drain otherwise I'm sure I'd be soaked!

Didn't sleep all night was up to pee 4 times which is rare for me, I think I'm just still so excited about the whole thing! I go today for a checkup and I have list of questions! I can not wait to see what it looks like! I'll take pics and post them later today!

Ok so all day I've had this huge migraine, I went to my dr's appointment at 2:30 and sat on the reclined table and the nurse unzipped my tight compression garment and all of a sudden I got dizzy nauseous broke out into a cold sweat and by heart rate dropped to such an alarmingly low rate and I turned completely white. The nurse put smelling salt under my nose to snap me out of it but I do not believe that did anything. They brought me soda and crackers, 2 things I never eat but I did take a couple sips and ate a cracker and started to feel a little better but my migraine was relentless, dr McClure came in and checked me out said everything looked good and he really took his time telling me exactly what he did to me and I was so happy, I'm still swollen and the drain is still in but I only had to empty it once since this visit and it's still empty, here are the pics we took today while at my checkup. They changed my dressings. He said he went in through my belly button to lipo above it. And I love how thorough he lipo'ed my flanks! He said he cut off about 4 inches of skin below my belly button so it's nice and tight! I told him he was an awesome sculptor! I can't wait till the swelling goes down to see how it's really gonna look!

This is the first day that I feel like I can get around much better. My TT incision doesn't even hurt at all except where the drain is sticking out if I move a certain way. The thing that's hurting me the most is still from my right side where they removed the lipoma. The compression garment is definitely not its friend! It feels like it's pulling it apart and I have to constantly be holding the compression garment away from it. I am off pain pills except the occasional Tylenol and today I took pics before my shower!! You can definitely see a difference but man am I still very swollen!! It's all so exciting though because I did the bend over test and guess what? No more wrinkly skin!!

I was so nervous to get up and go to work. I am a personal fitness trainer in a gym, and my clients all know that I'm not allowed to lift their weights for them or set up their squat racks for them and they were fine with it! I only had 5 clients in a row today, I purposely set it up that way to see how it would feel to be on my feet for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time and I was curious to see if my drain would fill up more, it didn't, at all actually!
Half way through the first client I started to feel dizzy and nauseous but very very little. My client didn't even notice. I did sit down and continued to coach from my seated position which was fine even though I just hate doing that. I kept a game face on and kept on coaching! I made it through the next 4 clients with the same tired dizzy nauseous feeling but no one noticed! Mission accomplished LOL!! I was standing up for only a total of 3 1/2 hours, tomorrow I'm running 3 bootcamps and 3 clients in between so that will be a total of 7 hours on my feet, yikes!! I'm gonna bring my nausea meds with me for sure but I'll be fine! I've already picked out the people that will be demonstrating the stations in the Bootcamp tomorrow lol, no they don't know it yet but they're all such hams they'll love it!
So now I'm back home and just so tired im gonna pass out for a bit ...
One more thing, I sneezed yesterday and it was the most painful experience, it felt like a lightening bolt struck me and stayed there burning me for a good 5 minutes. It felt like something popped! No I haven't looked yet and no I did not have any muscle repair so it wasn't an inside stitch busting open... Or was it? Well anyway, the moral of that story was do not sneeze!!

My surgery was jan 15th Thursday, I started working training clients in the gym 5 days later which sucked because I definitely wasn't ready to be on my feet for long period of time at 5 days post op, but I did it with a smile of course because I didn't want my clients to feel bad for me. I worked everyday last week except Monday with yesterday Friday the 23rd being the busiest! But I made it and I can tell that I was super swollen under my compression garment and in bad pain too. I went home took a pain pill and was too scared to check out how swollen I was until this morning, I need a freaking shower so bad so I stripped off my CG and took some pics! Definitely a word of advice! Do not do too much too soon! REST! It will be worth it! I'm going to be vegging this weekend and have my boyfriend wait on me hand and foot! His words not mine! Lol :-)

its getting easier day by day I like how my belly is coming out but it's still swollen of course which is expected and that's fine. I know it's going to take a few months to really get down to how it's supposed to look so I'm good with that, after all, it's winter!
When I first stand up I can feel the stretch in my stomach and it kind of scares me because I am imagining the incision opening up.
I still have the Steri-Strips on my incisions and I noticed a little bit of it coming off today so I looked and I could not believe how awesome my skin has closed up already! This is so fun!! I can't wait to get back to Crossfit! This weekend there is a CrossFit competition in downtown Orlando on Wall Street called war on Wall Street and I'm going to be there cheering on all of my people from my gym! I was originally supposed to be in this competition with another member from the gym but I chose to have a tummy tuck instead LOL! Anyway I took some pictures for you all to see let me know what you think!

I feel unbelievably awesome!! I went out dancing with friends last night, I just danced a little, I can't shake it too hard yet lol!! I'm wearing spanks now basically just to keep my clothes from rubbing on my incision which kind of hurts a little when that happens. I'm still a little swollen but not as bad as I thought I was going to be. A lot of people on here say that the third week is swell hell but I actually think that this week I have the least amount of swelling. Since the surgery I am only down 1 pound, I thought it was going to be more but that's okay. I took some pictures yesterday of me bending over and I am so extremely happy with what I see I just can't believe it!!! This summer at the beach is going to be so fun for the first time ever! Although I still have some folds of skin and a little bit of wrinkles when I bend over, (something that you should expect from having a mini tummy tuck) it is absolutely nothing like it was before and I just love how natural it looks I just love it love it love it love it!!! And just think, in a couple of more months when the swelling is completely down and the scar heels even more it's going to look better than this?!!! Wth!! Woohoo!!have an awesome day ladies, and here are my pics!!
