I rarely write reviews, but this one feels deeply important because no aspect of Dr. Yoo’s online presence could have prepared me for the miracle he performed on my nose. His skill is beyond extraordinary—he is truly doing God’s work with his hands, a true genius at his craft.

I had two rhinoplasties in the UK, the second of which left my nose completely disfigured and destroyed my confidence, self-esteem, and enjoyment of life. I even received unsolicited messages from strangers on Instagram asking what had happened to my nose. After that experience, I spent over a year and a half researching the best rib graft revision rhinoplasty surgeons worldwide. Consultations with surgeons in Turkey felt impersonal—they didn’t take the time to communicate or understand my vision. Then I found Dr. Yoo on Instagram, and revision rhinoplasty is his specialty.

I was terrified to make another mistake but desperate for improvement. What Dr. Yoo delivered wasn’t just improvement—it was perfection. I have no idea how he transformed the monstrosity I was left with into a beautiful, symmetrical, and natural-looking nose. He restored the projection characteristic of my Pakistani heritage, reconstructed my septum, columella, and nostrils, and crafted a beautifully refined tip, all while addressing my concerns about scarring and aesthetics. Even my request for alar base reduction was done with such precision that, just a week after surgery, the incisions are barely visible.

• The nursing staff, especially Gerry (another team member), who took care of me pre- and post-op with kindness and professionalism.

The pre- and post-op instructions were so detailed that I felt fully supported at every step. They provided all necessary medications—antibiotics, steroids, nausea meds, saline rinses, and scar creams—to ensure a smooth and successful recovery. Dr. Yoo and his team leave absolutely nothing to chance.

Only a week out, I am already overwhelmed with gratitude. For the first time in years, I feel like myself again. I enjoy looking in mirrors, meeting people, and embracing life—something I thought I had lost forever.

Dr. Yoo is an exceptional surgeon when it comes to Asian beauty, especially with the most prominent feature on our faces, our noses. My experience with doctor Yoo is beyond expectation. He’s a professional. He will take care of what you want to achieve and deliver the result to you with his expertise & artistic approach. I am so happy I went with Dr. Yoo as my plastic surgeon for my rhinoplasty. I've considered getting a rhinoplasty for several years but never found a surgeon who's results I was obsessed with. If I'm going to get something surgically/ permanently done with my face I wanted to make sure I chose someone I felt confident in and would be 100% happy with. Last year, as I turned 50, I decided it was time to prioritize self-care after years of neglect. After consulting with several doctors in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills area, I chose Dr. Yoo. Now, a year post-op in May, I'm thrilled with the outcome. People often mistake me for being in my late 30s. This my second time coming to Halo and seeing Nurse Angela for my botox. I wanted something minimal for my 11’s and crows feet as a preventative treatment and got just that. She is very receptive to your personal goals and overall a very welcoming person. I feel very comfortable with her. The team is also happy, helpful, & efficient.

I had an Asian rhinoplasty, facial fat transfer, and chin implant with Dr. Yoo in April and he has completely transformed my life and confidence for the better. I literally have a perfect nose and my face is much more proportional and pretty! Perfect slope to my nose and very feminine. Overall my face looks more feminine and pretty. Prior, I had the typical flat face and round nose. I also breathe so much better now which has improved my quality of life a lot. Not a single flaw honestly his work is literally perfect I wouldn't change anything . I wanted to go to the best Asian doctor and I 100% made the right choice. I feel so beautiful and love myself so much more and I love staring at myself in the mirror. I always get compliments on how beautiful I am now. I do wish I had more fat transfer cells that survived in my cheeks but that's just what happens, your body reabsorbs it and I have pretty flat bone structure to begin with. I hope to do another fat grafting procedure with him down the line. I went from like a 4 to a 10 in my opinion and people treat me better and I have the confidence to do more things in my life LOL. Beautiful office with kind and experienced providers! Nurse Angela is highly knowledgeable, professional, patient and greatly experienced. She pays great attention to your facial anatomy and I’m always impressed with the results from her.

I just had my nose revision surgery with Dr Donald Yoo on 10/19/2023. Everything went smoothly for my second revision. I was very nervous about the procedure at the beginning. I spent 3 months getting 15 doctors based on their credentials. Then I did read all their reviews on Google, real self and Yelp……. Finally I made 5 doctors including Dr.Yoo. Firstly I did not go to DrYoo because I was hesitant to pay the $500 consultation fee . I visited the other 4 doctors, but no one touched and evaluated my nose. Only Dr. Yoo touched my nose to identify the problems that I had. He spent an hour explaining by using computer generated photos before and after my surgery. My first experience with dr. Yoo was beyond my belief. His office staff provided excellent professional and courteous service. Dr Yoo is extremely professional: he takes time to listen and time to explain. I decided to go with him after first consulting. I am completely satisfied with Dr. Yoo and all the support staff. He’s a very patient person who genuinely cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. He’s diligent in making sure my revision is the best it can be. I would recommend Dr. Yoo to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor!

The result from my nose revision procedure was great. He was honest and gave me answers to all of my questions, and helped prepare me 100% for what to expect during and after the procedure. I could tell immediately that he was an extremely detailed oriented surgeon and was going to take the time to make sure I got the best result possible. I had no doubt he was the best plastic surgeon to go to.
The procedure actually took 7 hours, but I did not experience anything “scary” like some of the things I had researched on Google. Dr. Baker(Anesthesiologist) was great too. Haley(office PA) answered all my questions before and after my surgery. I was amazed at the results even immediately after the procedure, over time it just continued to get even better better every days passed! The recovery was also much better and easy than I expected. I really did have a great experience from beginning to end. I HIGHLY recommend you look no further than Dr. Yoo if you are looking to have your nose revision procedures done, he changed my life and he can change yours too!
