I have been thinking about upper eyelid surgery but then I am wondering whether it will be enough to open my eyes? I have very obvious extra skin on my eyelashes and a having a lower set brow does not bother me personally, as long my eyes are not covered by the skin. Can I do well just with the eyelid surgery (which is faster and less costly)?
Hello, I am interested in a lower blepharoplasty and an upper bleph to the right eyelid due to puffiness or extra skin folding over. My goal is to get rid of eye bags creating a youthful appearance and even out upper eyelids. For my upper eyelid, is the puffiness from fat or too much skin? I am opting for a transconjunctival blepharoplasty in hopes to avoid scaring but am stuck between going for a surgeon who does fat grafting, repositioning, or nothing at all. Which options would be best. Also, a canthopexy has been advised and I am not sure how that would affect the appearance of my eye shape. I have noticed that my eyes do protrude forward a little resembling graves disease, but not as bad. I don't plan to have orbital decompression surgery, hoping that removal of eye bags would be sufficient in enhancing my appearance. Any suggestions are welcomed (skin pinch, chemical peel, etc.)
Im looking to fix two areas of my eyes. First problem is my upper eyelids, theyre very heavy and lately have been getting in the way of my vision. Because my eyelids are droopy, I carry a lot of tension in my forehead and upper eyes. For the second area, my under eyes. I believe the hollowness of my under eyes plays a part in how droopy my face is. Especially since I have a lot of fat in my cheeks. So I was wondering, do I ptosis? And what do I need to fix my under eyes? Will filler work? Or should I go all the way and get an actual procedure? Im wanting a more feminine look and I want my eyes to appear more open, with less tension. Please help me
Unfortunately upper and lower blepharoplasty didnt go well. Im left with Lagophtalmos, developed severe dry eye. Im being treated for DE by ophthalmologist with little relief. Theres no doubt in my mind that surgical intervention is in my future. I can close my eyes but my blink is incomplete and they open during sleep. If I mobilize my lower and upper lids I can create a forced blink. My plastic surgeon says theres nothing to be done surgically, they just do t align properly and I should treat my DE with medication. Im a little over 3 months PO and will wait till six months but Im starting my search for specialist to assess and revise. I just hope the revision is possible.
Im a 44-year-old woman looking into eye rejuvenation options. I currently do Botox around my eyes and forehead but am not interested in fillers. Ive noticed more of a hollowed, sunken look around my eyesespecially near the orbital boneand Im not sure whats contributing to that. Id really appreciate your opinion on whether a brow lift, upper or lower blepharoplasty, fat transfer, or something else might help. Also wondering if a full facelift is something to consider now, or if thats better down the road. My main goal is to look more rested and refreshed, while keeping things natural.
Hi everyone! I have a question. Im dealing with a concern around my eye area. To me, it looks sunken or saggy. Could this be malar bags? Or are they just under-eye bags? Ive always had a bit of puffiness on my cheekbones, but it seems to be getting worse as I get older. Many people in my family have it too. Im very self-conscious and insecure about itit makes me feel like I look tired all the time. Im only 29, and Im worried it will only get worse as I get older. What do you think it could be, and are there any procedures that might help? Ive read that fillers arent recommended for malar bags (if thats what these are). Im really curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
