I actually went in for three surgeries. I am a male patient. I had a revision rhinoplasty, ear reduction (otoplasty) and the chin implant. My overall goal was the revision rhino, but decided if the cost was not too much I would get my ears reduced and a chin implant. My rhino was for to repair a nose that broke years ago in Tae Kwon Do. Dr. Loutfy repaired the nose perfectly giving me what I was after, to have the bridge straightened and added some tip definition. The chin implant was done because I wanted a my jawline to be more boxed off. I thought I would need a jaw implant, but Dr. Loutfy told me a chin implant to widen that area would achieve the effects. I had my ears reduced, because they were a little out of proportion. They were slightly long which gave them a slight pointed look. I had them reduced to match and better proportion to the width. I was warned that the ear operation may leave a noticeable scar. The end result was excellent, I do not notice any abnormal scarring. The ear shape looks natural as if it was meant to be the way he did it. I liked the overall achieved look as it was nothing drastic, but added overall refinements I was looking for. I think for male facial surgery, you can't go wrong in the NM area with Dr Loutfy for both excellent work and a reasonable price.
I have wanted breast implants my whole life and knew I would always get them. It took a long time but I finally paid for them a few months ago and had my surgery today. I got 450cc high profile gummy bear ultra fill. They gave me drains which look gross but really help with the swelling. I get them out on Friday. I haven't seen them yet but they reach all the way up to my collar bone and I know they will be square and weird looking. I'm taking my pain pills and muscle relaxers so I'm feeling ok. Without them it felt like the world's hardest chest and back work out and pretty rough. My advice is to stretch your chest a little by kind of pushing your shoulder blades together gently. It feels really good and provides some relief. I can lift my arms pretty easily with just a little soreness but am weak. Make sure you take ant help offered to you no matter how good you feel. Im posting some BEFORE photos and some right AFTER photos. I'll update as I go along. Updated on 29 Jul 2021: These pics are Day 1 Post Surgery. I'm trying to see if I can space the pain pills/muscle relaxers out longer than the required time. Icing them seems to help keep the pain away so far. I looked at the bottom of my breasts and they are weird looking like I expected. I didn't want the drains at 1st but now I am grateful bc they really ease the discomfort of swelling. Tomorrow I have my 1st post op visit with my surgeon where he will remove the drains. Updated on 30 Jul 2021: The drains have been removed and I'm feeling a lot better. My boobs look weird, like pectoral muscle implants and not breasts. I haven't taken any pain bills today but I am using the muscle relaxer still bc I am having muscle cramps and spasms. The relaxer helps all kinds with that. Otherwise I am just taking regular Tylenol and the antibiotics as prescribed. I am trying not to look at them too much bc they are so weird looking. I just keep reminding myself that I just need to be patient and they will look pretty once they drop into place. Updated on 1 Aug 2021: They are starting to drop slowly but surely. The right is dropping faster so it looks more like a boob than the left. The left still looks like a pectoral implant to me but I can see how it's in the beginning phases of the drop and fluff. Im still pretty bloated so I'm just trying to stay on top ones my water intake. It won't be like this forever. Updated on 25 Aug 2021: Hey guys! U got my stitches out on Monday. I am 3 weeks post op and feeling so much better. The titties are starting to drop and round out. I got my 1st real bra on Monday also. I am currently a 34DD I had to buy nursing bras bc they didn't have any other ones in my size. They will just fine until I can get other ones. My PS said my size will probably change as I drop and fluff and probably get bigger. Updated on 15 Sep 2021: Hey guys. Here is a 6 week post op photo. They are starting to drop nicely. I'd like some more fluff at the bottom but it's a journey and I like where it's going. .................................................... Updated on 18 Sep 2021: Here is a side by side of Before surgery and 6 weeks post op. ................................................................................................................................................................ .... Updated on 14 Mar 2022: Here is a an 8 month post op update int the drop and fluff. I am wearing a 34 DD currently. The boob greed is real. They look small to me now and sometimes I wish I had gone bigger. I'm super stoked with them though. They just keep getting better and better. Updated on 28 Jan 2024: This is a 1 year comparison of the what j looked like right before my implants and 2 years after. I did not have a lift, just the implants. My doctor said I didn’t really need it so I opted out. I love them.
So today was the day!! I’m a mama of 4, all of whom I breastfed! So this surgery has been a long time coming!!! I’m super happy with how things went! The nurses, surgery center staff, and Dr. Loutfy were all absolutely amazing!! I couldn’t recommend them enough! I started with a deflated, 34-36B And I went with Allergan Inspira SRF’s in 650cc’s! I’m 5’ 7” , 169 lbs, with more so “athletic/curvy on bottom” build! Updated on 26 Feb 2021: Had a follow up yesterday and Dr. said everything looked great! He said for 24hrs out everything looked darn near perfect, and that they were super symmetrical! Woohoo! Was very happy to hear that!! Headed to my drs appt again today to get the drains removed!! Can’t wait to be a little more free/comfortable!! More updates to come! Updated on 27 Feb 2021: High, tight, and sore! I had my BL/BA on Wednesday at 11:30am, I remember getting home around 4pm I believe. Basically have just been resting, and *trying* to sleep/relax. It’s so hard to do that haha I purchased a wedge pillow and had a neck pillow I’ve been using for bed time! Best piece of advice thus far for anyone planning to have theirs done... stay on top of your pain pills and muscle relaxers!!!! Can’t stress it enough. Also just started with the ice as well! Will continue to update as I go along in the recovery process! Updated on 16 Mar 2021: Catching up on sharing some photos I have been taking. Here is a close up of 5 dpo with my lollipop lift and augmentation. Super high and tight here of course! 650cc SRF Natrelle Inspiras Stats: 5’ 7” 165lbs BWD: 14 Athletic build/curvy bottom & thighs Updated on 16 Mar 2021: 9 days post op here. I was laying down propped at an angle. Still quite high and tight, sore as well, but by this time I was weaning off the Percocet and just using Tylenol and muscle relaxers alternating. *650cc SRF Natrelle Inspiras* Stats: 5’ 7” 165lbs BWD: 14 Athletic build/curvy bottom & thighs Updated on 16 Mar 2021: Okay here’s another front facing photo and lollipop incision photo at 11 dpo. It’s amazing to see how much the incisions heal more and more each day. Still just using the Tylenol and muscle relaxers as needed! A whole lot of trying to make myself just relax and not do too much. It’s hard with our little kiddos, but my husband has been a huge help! 650cc SRF Natrelle Inspiras Stats: 5’ 7” 165lbs BWD: 14 Athletic build/curvy bottom & thighs Updated on 16 Mar 2021: Okay here’s another front facing photo and lollipop incision photo at 11 dpo. They looked at everything and explained to me how to start light massages going forward! Seeing changes still every day. It’s hard not to focus on all the little things and not freak yourself out haha I did notice a few days later a small area on my left breast where a little scab that was coming loose had snagged on my ABD pads that I use to cushion the incisions inside my bra, when I went to change out the pads it just sort of came off. It bled for a moment, I re-padded the incision with a new abd pad, and then the day after I noticed a bit of yellowish drainage. I called my nurses after hours number and she advised me to just put a small amount of triple antibiotic ointment to help it not stick to the abd pad again (she said each time I exchange the padding it had the potential to pull off those small “crusties” and re-injure that little spot, so the ointment would help it not stick and let it heal. It was completely fine a day or two after! Still sort of sore along and around the incisions. I have to make sure not to move/jolt for anything too quickly. And just keep taking it easy of course with the lifting restrictions. I have another follow up coming up tomorrow 3/17 to get some poking out stitches clipped. They should clear me to wear more types of unlined, underwire free sports/lounge bras that are bit more comfy! I tried this one on in the pics and love how it feels! All in all happy with how things are going so far. I’m just so ready to see them drop and fluff over the next few weeks and months. Can’t wait to get past the six week mark!! Updated on 23 Mar 2021: Okay here is an updated picture 27days post op! My appt last Wednesday my nurse clipped any remaining poking out stitches. She also removed any flaky areas where the scabs were ready to fall off. Since then I’ve started using a silicone gel (Biocorneum) morning and evening on my healing scars, it seems to really be helping a ton! I’m waiting for “Jenny’s Boobie butter and scar salve” to come in the mail as well and I will be using those. I also started taking vitamin E (along with my Vit C and D,) using Vitamin E oil, and continue to use my cbd cream with arnica! Can’t recommend that enough! I also got cleared to start wearing underwire free, comfy lounge bras and other bralettes! Still no spray tans, self tans, or soaking in bath tubs, hot tubs, etc. And my lifting restrictions are still in full effect. However I CAN start doing squats and lunges as of tomorrow, as well as lower body, light cardio as I was cleared to get my heart rate up at 4 weeks, so all that begins in the morning! Can’t wait to see the changes between now and 6 weeks! They are beginning to soften and drop some so that’s a great feeling! Updated on 14 Jul 2021: Can’t believe 5 months has almost gone by! Loving the results so far. I’m so thankful I was able to go through this process. After having all 4 of my kiddos, and finally being finished with breastfeeding, I was definitely thrilled to get my boobs back! Haha The D&F process is no joke! The progression is amazing to see in photos! Best thing I can say is be patient and follow your PS’s instructions!
Bottom Line up Front: There is no one better than Dr. Loutfy for a Tummy Tuck and Muscle Repair in Albuquerque. My results are amazing and as he explained up front, this is major surgery. So no surprise, the recovery was brutal (no complications, just the nature of what the surgery entails). With that out of the way, this was no spring picnic and I didn't magically turn into Claudia Schiffer circa 1992. Best advice I can give after coming through on the other side: know how major this surgery is going in, plan ahead of time for your recovery and keep your expectations realistic. I knew about the severity of the surgery going in, which is why I actually initially consulted with Dr. Loutfy many years ago after the birth of my twins in 2010. Dr. Loutfy and his nurse, Joy, were very honest and direct about the nature of the surgery and the recovery involved. At that time, my kids were still to young for me to be out of commission that long, and so I waited another 5 years before I did it. Due to my twin pregnancy, I had muscle separation that just got worse over the years, and no matter how well I ate and worked out, I could not lose the pooch. I was a normal body weight and BMI heading into the surgery, but my stomach gross. I also started experiencing incontinence when I sneezed. Although Dr. Loutfy did not tell me a tummy tuck would help this, I'd heard from others who had the surgery that it did (spoiler alert- it completely helped me and I no longer automatically grab myself when I sneeze like a little old lady for fear of an accident - makes workplace interactions more professional for everyone). When I finally did the surgery in August 2020, I was prepared, had 100% confidence in Dr.Loutfy and his team, and the surgery went off without any issues. Dr. Loutfy performed a drainless tummy tuck and muscle repair and i went home thereafter. I normally get really sick with anesthesia, but Dr. Loutfy and the anesthesiologist consulted ahead of time, came up with a plan to manage it, and I was fine. The follow up calls and care were perfect, no complaints - these people are pros. The recovery itself was 10000 times worse than my section. I've also had brain surgery for a benign tumor removal in my cerebellum, and frankly, that was a cake walk compared to this. Planning ahead helped. I wish I would have bought a recliner, but I thought I could just use my downstairs bedroom and pillows to get in and out of bed. When that proved to be too painful and difficult for me to get in and out, I literally called La-Z-Boy and bought a power recliner sight unseen to be delivered to my house. That was a lifesaver. Other hacks that got me through - a raised toilet seat, and a device where you can pee standing up - it's no joke, not having to sit down was a lifesaver and all of a sudden I understood male pride a bit better. i really didn't want to give it up even after I was fully recovered - why Lean In when you can Stand Up? Anyway, I digress. You can find these devices online, and they are meant for hiking and camping ease. Sure helped in the post-TT realm, too. Another As Seen on TV tool that made my life easier was a "grabber" that you see older people on TV using to get cans off the shelf. Let me just say, when you can't bend over to pick up something you dropped and your kids allegedly can't hear you for them to come pick it up, this thing is gold. I picked all of this stuff up on Amazon and used it daily. I also can't overstate the importance of compression. Dr. Loutfy's staff will give you information on compression garments, and you will likely find something you like, hopefully on the first try. I went to a lady who does post surgical massage on TT patients (recommended by Dr. Loutfy's office) and she helped not only my swelling, but fit me for a faja (Columbian compression garment) that I still wear even to this day,6 months later, when my swelling is noticeable. I am pleased with my results, but even more pleased with my experience with Dr. Loutfy. I was recently asked if I would do it again. Right now, the answer is no. Despite my results, I can't say yet the recovery was worth it. In another 6 months that answer might change. I will however, consider a breast augmentation with Dr. Loutfy in the near future - I finally feel good enough about my midsection that I actually care about my saggy boobs now, and after the journey that was this recovery, I figure a breast augmentation will be an easier go. Updated on 28 Mar 2021: I've posted some photos before my tummy tuck and photos now (7 months post tummy tuck). I still have a little swelling in the lower abdomen and need to wear my board on days when the swelling is more severe.
Dr Loutfy and his entire staff are absolutely incredible. From consult to the actual procedure I felt like an actual cared for patient. I am so happy with my results I could t recommend anyone but him.
Dr Loutfy and his safe is amazing! In 2016 I had breast lift and 270cc implants placed in. I've always been big breasted I wanted natural looks and he gave me what I wanted! I highly recommend Dr Loutfy! I've been told he's mean and rude DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU! When I met him he is sweetest dr he is very honest and straight forward hes not about money he wants you leave his office happy!
I was never blessed with breast. I knew it was something I would do after I had children. Once I knew I was done having children I worked really hard to get my body into shape and promised myself once all the baby weight was gone and I had changed my body through hard work and dedication then and only then I would have breast augmentation. I started searching for doctors, reading countless reviews, looking at before and after, and just gaining common knowledge about it I was ready. I had my first consultation November 3rd. I put my down payment for surgery that day and was scheduled for my pre OP November 26th. At the time of consultation I had decided on 300cc silicone unders. I really liked how my doctor took into account my height and weight and did not pressure me to go any bigger or smaller. Obviously I wanted to have bigger breast but I didn't want to look huge and fake. From consultation to pre OP I really stressed my decision thinking they would be too small or too big looked at several before and after pics. On my pre OP day I was told that I loose about 10% going under the muscle. So I tried on 350cc and just really like the overall appearance so I moved up and that eased my mind. Updated on 28 Dec 2017: Surgery was quick and easy. The doctor and nurses were very reassuring. I have never had surgery before. I was slightly nervous but I knew I would be thankful and hour later that I went through with it. The first 2 days were not very painful. It just feels tight. If you have breast fed before I would compare it to be engorged bit with out the pain. I had drains put in which were not as big of a deal as I read about. I didn't feel them at all, they didn't hurt at all. When they took them out it just felt like a tugging. Definitely swollen in these pictures. Updated on 28 Dec 2017: On day 3 I started feeling slightly uncomfortable. The lack of sleep and the constipation from the meds start getting to you. I'm a side sleeper so that's why I was not sleeping. For the first 5 days I basically just stayed in bed and ate food. On day 4 I cut out all pain meds and just used Tylenol and took my vitamins. Walking around and doing taking deep breaths are important. Don't stay in a dark room in hibernation. You really need help for these 5 days. It's hard to open doors (shower, fridge, car, bedroom) it's hard to put your bra on once you shower. It's hard to pull up your pants. Updated on 28 Dec 2017: Not really much changes during these days. Do everything your doctor recommends for you. My doctor told me to do stuff that your doctor maybe not tell you. I had my second post OP appointment and was told I could go back to work and just to be careful. Updated on 28 Dec 2017: They are starting to drop slowly and soften. So far I'm very pleased with my results. Updated on 28 Dec 2017: I'll update as I go. I'm just putting this out there for anyone who has similar stats. Sorry for all the typos I'm sure there is a bunch. Getting ready for work.... If you have any questions let me know
Anyone with similar stats happy with the size? Do you ever wish you went bigger? I'm getting my BA on June 1st and I can only get 300cc and I'm a lil nervous for how they will be afterwards. I'm 5'4" 134lbs and a 32C according to vs. I'm hoping I can talk my doc into going a little bigger at my pre-op. Updated on 20 May 2015: Updated on 21 May 2015: Final consult. 300L/ 275R Mentor HP silicone unders Updated on 22 May 2015: 300cc L/ 275cc R silicone HP unders. Filled my prescriptions today. So many pills!! 10 more days !!! Updated on 24 May 2015: Really hoping I can handle the pain after surgery as I'm going to be going back to work on day 3 after surgery. Updated on 1 Jun 2015: Yay only a few more hours and I'll have boobies :) :) ill jeep you all updated. Checa in time is at 12 this afternoon Updated on 1 Jun 2015: Tried to post the pre op at the hospital but phone was acting up so here's the pre op now haha. Everything went great. Went a little over an hour as They had to caterize a blood vessel which I'm told sometimes happens, there was so much pressure when I woke up and I was a bit uncomfortable for the first few hours, and my arms felt like I've been lifting them for a long time haha but now I'm home. Took a little nap. Thank you pain meds because they helped out a lot. I just woke up from a nap so I'm feeling 100 times better now. Moms making me some chicken soup. Got to loves moms, they are simply amazing. Updated on 3 Jun 2015: Getting my drains out today, woohoo!! Hope I'll be able to shower today Updated on 3 Jun 2015: Went soft bra shopping. Updated on 4 Jun 2015: Still just a tad bit sore but nothing too bad, I'm going back to work today. My sleep schedule is so off. I keep waking up at random times (3,4,5 am) Boobs are looking amazing. I can finally shower today , yay !!!! I can't wait for them to drop and fluff Updated on 4 Jun 2015: I'm doing a lot better, taking it a day at a time. Definely sore though, but day one was the worst. When I woke up I was at an 8 felt like an elephant was sitting on me. Went to work today on day 4 and it wasn't too bad. Definitely can't wait till I'm a month post op and I can just sleep however and take a normal shower. Updated on 6 Jun 2015: Doing so much better today. Pain is minimal and I get my sticks out on Tuesday. Updated on 11 Jun 2015: Doing so much better now. I can finally sleep on my back but that's still incomfortable as I love sleeping on my stomach and can't sleep on my side yet. But taking it. A day at a time. Finally doing boob massages. Which don't hurt, they actually take some of the pain away in the morning. But not much to update on today. Still have my stitches for the next 2 weeks I believe. Updated on 15 Jun 2015: Here at the post op waiting on my doctor. I'll post more once I leave. So far they look amazing !! :) Updated on 15 Jun 2015: So I went to buy some things today and thought I'd get measured to get an idea of where I'm at now and 2weeks out I'm measuring at a 34C so not too bad I'm pretty happy with my size Updated on 30 Jun 2015: Ahh doing so much better now. Few more days and I'll hit my one month mark. So happy with my results. Sorry I haven't been updating lately, been super busy Updated on 17 Jul 2015: Yay finally hit that month and 2 week mark. Went and brought a bra. I'm a 32D-DD so happy with the results. Sorry I've been m.i.a from my updates. I'll have pics posted soon Updated on 17 Jul 2015:
I am a avid exercise person. I run, spin, weights and have a rigourous eating habbits my entire life. I could not loose the protruding pooch. I finally decided I needed a Tummy tuck. Now post op I am glad I did it. I can actually see my abs now. Because I worked out alot, was at my desired weight and had 2 prior c-sections, recouperation was not that bad. some minor pain/uncomfortableness the first few days. It is more annoying with the drains and sleeping at at incline that is hindering. Updated on 9 Jan 2015: well I have made it to 4 weeks PO. I am using daily and nightly cg's. I now have stopped sleeping on the wedge pillow with the pillows under my knees. It feels strange sleeping normal again. My scar is healing nicely but still have redness all around it. I am now getting swelling and hardness feeling about halfway thru the day. The nice thing is in the morning after rest the selling does down. I am not sure i like the scar from the old belly button and my new belly button. But I suppose time will tell as I heal. I also dont like the muffin top that appears to be all along my incision line, but from what I have read that is all swelling and should go away over time. I am posting more pics. Now looking at the pre and post pics I guess i didnt realize just how much my belly was sticking out. Maybe I am being a little nitpicky on my results and need to be more patient. Updated on 12 Jan 2015: Well today I decided to go to work without the CG. and by mid day i started to get indentions from my pantie lines on my stomach. I am concernd that can affect the results later on down the road. I am not sure if i should keep just wearing the CG because the are smooth all around. Hum.. am I just being paranoid? Updated on 24 Jan 2015: This week I got cleared from PS to start working out. I was advised to still continue to wear CG's or perhaps use a abdominal binder at night to get a break from wearing CG's (mostly because i do not like wearing them). I went to Spin class and had no issues except for being out of wind for not working out in 6 weeks. I tried doing some abdominal's afterwards. I found that I could not do a plank. It did not hurt but it felt tender around the belly button area so I insted it put my knees down and did a modified plank which felt better. I was suprised to see that the next day i did not swell up. Actually swelling has began to come down around the center near the incision line. That muffin top is slowly comming down. out to the sides of the incision I still have swelling but its getting a little better and seems to be the worst at the end of the day. My belly button is also swollen it closing almost shut so I have been putting a Earplug in it to keep it open and hoping the scar tissue dose not get smaller. PS also told me to start massaging everywhere and I have done that from time to time to time with a tortilla roller. LOL. So far so good, however I am surprised how long the recovery is. I thought four sure it would be shorter. I guess I am no spring chicken anymore but I am still glad I did this. Updated on 28 Jan 2015: Well Ive working out now and that seem to be going good. Still cant do really good ab workouts-Ive been taking it easy on abs. Swelling is still about the same. I am trying to be patient but this is hard. I keep worrying that the muffin top is not going to go away. I do believe that swelling is there because I measured my self shortly after surgery and now and I am 1 inched bigger around waist line. Also CG seems to be fitting tighter, I though perhaps I might of shrunk them accidently in the dryer. This swelling is getting to me. Trying to stay positive and doing my massaging. Updated on 28 Feb 2015: Well i have reached the 12 week mark. I can say substantial improvement has occurred but I still have a was to go for precision type improvement to happen. Swelling has gotten better around incision in spots. After a long day at work and working out it dose swell all over and is lumpy but dose appear to decrease in the morning or by day two. Scar thickness is perfect all though it is still red. Belly button swelling has gone down some so now it looks more like a belly button. I have this hard area under the old belly button. I notice that the several areas like the upper abs area is not looking as tight and is loosening up like a more natural appearance. I am not sure if I like that part because I like the tight appearance that was there after surgery. But I suppose you can have a tight stomach and a flabby back, I have to remember I am almost 48. LOL. So far things are overall looking good. Updated on 28 Feb 2015: Updated on 28 Feb 2015: Updated on 6 Mar 2015: well today I got to go see the PS for checkup. She said my scar was healing very well. It is beginning to turn white and I guess for most folks she said it is still real red. I was concerned that the old belly button scar was too hard, so in time we may do and injection. They advised me to continue to wear my cg's as much as possible to create a real flat tummy and silhouette. Today I tried on my new Bikini. the scar hides nicely under it. I tried on all my old string style bikinis and the scar dose not hide under it very well out near the hips. Kinda bummed so I wont be wearing those kind of bottoms anymore. took measurements today and now I am a 37.32.37 I lost 3 inches in the waist after tummy tuck. Now I just have to wait for the remainder swelling to go down and will probably go through a fixer upper for the dimple on my right side of the scar. So far so good. I cant believe it has been 3 months. Wow how time fly's. Updated on 9 Apr 2015: Well It has been 4 months PO since my tummy tuck with muscle repair was done. Things have changed a lot. I no longer have pain in my abdomen. The scar has turned to a small thin line and the redness has gone away a lot. The scar was healing fine with the use of only Aquaphor but my PS prescribed me some compounded formula and this seems to be taking more of the redness away. Swelling has come down a lot but i still have swelling above the scar line. It is not as extreme as in the beginning but it is still present. It all most seems like the swelling is subsiding in pathches all along the scar line so it kinda looks little lumpy. Belly button swelling has gone down so now it looks like a normal BB. The only thing is you can see the scar around the BB. It is not like some ones who's scar is inside the BB. The area where the old BB was is kinda hard and I am still massaging it but may need some shots to loosen up the scar tissue. Over all It has been a good experience. I kinda wish the upper ab was a little bit tighter but compared to my previous stomach this is a huge improvement. I have been able to work out and do ab workout with no issues. Woo, I am on the down side of the recovery now. It is a great feeling. Updated on 20 Apr 2015: Well I have to say that 3 1/2 months PO has been the lucky number. Today I woke up and saw some more areas where swelling has gone down. I am thrilled. the scar redness is beginning to get better as sell. Woo Hoo :) Updated on 6 May 2015: Well 5 months has passed since TT. Wow how fast time has gone. Nothing real new to report. Still dealing with swelling above the scar line. It dose appear to be going away in some parts. It almost seems like the swelling moves. Where it use to be going down is now somewhat swollen and others areas that were puffy seem to be going flat. Strange. I am still taking Bromelain and Vitamin C to help with the healing and swelling. My scar is getting much better. the redness is continuing to go away. Still have some minor concerns that I will address at my 6 month PS visit. So far go good, and still trying to be patient and not so picky. Or is ok to be picky? Humm? Updated on 9 Oct 2015: well its been 10 months now. wow how time flys by. I still have swelling above the scar line but it is going away in spots. I pray it will go down that same way all over. Most of the swelling is above the pubic area. Dr. says this is the last place to go. I also just had minor scar revision on the ends. One side had a dimple and the other side needed some skin and little fat removed. I am now wearing compression undies to help with the scar healing. Over all I am pleased. I do still feel that is should of been thighter on upper abdomen would of been better and a bit more fat removal around the belly button would of been perfect. I suppose expecting perfection is not a good thing. I am just being picky. For my age I believe it is fine. I am now thinking of getting lipo on flanks and upper hamstring area since the PS would not do everything at the same time. I am not sure though. I am older and worry about possible loose skin afterwards. Hum, something for me to think about. I have put on about 5 lbs since surgery which amazing me. I work out hard but I believe it is my age and my hormones have been crazy out of whack. Any ways I hope this info helps someone out there. Updated on 24 Oct 2015: Wow a year is almost here now I have scheduled my lipo for dorsal and flank areas. PS would not do it during the TT. Finally almost done with the new me. I will post before and after pics soon. Hope every one is healing well.
Amazing experience. I did extensive research before picking a doctor I knew I wanted breast implants but I was scared because I saw some really bad ones and I would ask so that I could avoid those places. A few of my friends around the same time were having theirs done and they looked perfect when they mentioned Dr. Loutfy I made an appointment that day, I went in the staff is extremely professional and spent time answering questions and letting me try on different sizes of implants. I had my surgery done and am very pleased with the results. I get a lot of compliments and have referred several people to his office!! Call them today ?
Unfortunately there is no absolutely accurate way to assess a given implant size to a specific cup size. Realistically speaking, accurate breast measurements obtained at your consultation will guide both you and your surgeon to implants that will fit your body.
Exercise and dietary restraint is very helpful, however if you have loose skin after childbirth then it is unlikely that any other treatment aside from surgery will address your concerns.
Unfortunately, surgery never improves skin quality- it only removes excess skin. Once the skin has been stretched beyond its elastic recoil it cannot rebound to its original position
You should be walking immediately, but not excessively. This is to decrease the risk of developing a blood clot. I advise patients not to exercise for at least six weeks- similar to a woman that has had a C-section. It is most appropriate to have your activity questions addressed by your surgeon. He/She will be grateful that you are trying to be compliant and taking your recovery seriously.
In general, below the muscle- dual plane with silicone gel is a better overall outcome. Above the muscle with saline is likely to relate more long term cosmetic issues such as visible wrinkling . As far as the lift aspect of your question, a thorough exam would be necessary to give you all your options.
