WORTH IT$6,300
I am a avid exercise person. I run, spin, weights and have a rigourous eating habbits my entire life. I could not loose the protruding pooch. I finally decided I needed a Tummy tuck. Now post op I am glad I did it. I can actually see my abs now. Because I worked out alot, was at my desired weight and had 2 prior c-sections, recouperation was not that bad. some minor pain/uncomfortableness the first few days. It is more annoying with the drains and sleeping at at incline that is hindering.

I waited so long and that's the only regret. My lowest point was not wearing a form fitting costume cuz the undergarments I would need was too much. Never again, love yourself and congrats!

4 weeks TT post op..update
realself2008January 10, 2015
well I have made it to 4 weeks PO. I am using daily and nightly cg's. I now have stopped sleeping on the wedge pillow with the pillows under my knees. It feels strange sleeping normal again. My scar is healing nicely but still have redness all around it. I am now getting swelling and hardness feeling about halfway thru the day. The nice thing is in the morning after rest the selling does down. I am not sure i like the scar from the old belly button and my new belly button. But I suppose time will tell as I heal. I also dont like the muffin top that appears to be all along my incision line, but from what I have read that is all swelling and should go away over time. I am posting more pics. Now looking at the pre and post pics I guess i didnt realize just how much my belly was sticking out. Maybe I am being a little nitpicky on my results and need to be more patient.

I am6days Post OP. The drains and sleeping are what bothers me most. I still have not straightened up yet, I feel like I should be able to do it, just scared to try. I am concerned about the swelling around my incision also, looks like a muffin top. It's nothing as what it was though. I have my week check up on this Wednesday.

you will be able to straighten up. You will see one day you will be able to stand straighter and then realize youve been standing straight up with out the tugging feeling. I had no idea of the swelling muffing top thing either. Strange thing is have no followups. I thought they would call me to schedule follow ups but no calls yet. hum

I have the muffin top too. worse after a long day at work. It is suppose to go away over time. I did notice that down the center near scar and pubic area it is going down, and the pubic area has gone down alot too. so i think as the days go buy little by little the swelling goes down. just not all at once and not everywhere. You will be able stand straight up. I would say my upper abs felt good at week 3, at week 4 the center belly button area felt good. so slowly you dont feel the tightness as time goes buy. But then you have to get use to standing straight and walking straight which is strange because youve gone so long hunched over. It will get better. Keep the faith.

HI! I am at 4 weeks too. I think your pictures look awesome! I also have a "ridge" of puffiness above my scar line, and every time I go to my doctor, he reassures me that it's normal swelling and will eventually be flat. I am still nervous about it, but am hoping he's right......so maybe we just need to be patient! ha! What did you actually have done? I had a mini tuck, with muscle repair and hernia repair. I am wishing maybe he would have liposuctioned my love handle area just a little! I feel like I can grab more there than I would like.....dr told me yesterday, that SOME of that is from swelling, and that as the swelling leaves, I will lose a little more of that, and everything will "tighten" more. I hope he's right....and I'm not expecting to be perfect, but after paying so much money and going through all this, you know, you just want to feel like you look awesome, and all the problems were taken care of. I will really watch what I eat though, and I am a hard workout person. So maybe once I can get back into the swing of things, that will make it look better to. Did you have any lipo?

Hi! You look great! I have a question for you. I'm one week post op and my husband wants to go to Vegas for a long weekend over President's Day weekend. I'll be at 3.5 weeks by then. I got my drains and stitches out yesterday and successfully went to the grocery store this morning. I'm obviously still very stiff but am moving pretty well, though I get very tired by the end of the day. The thought of Vegas feels overwhelming. Since you're past the 3 week mark and, like me, was an avid exerciser before the TT, I thought you'd be good to ask. Do you think I'll be up for it? Or should I tell him he's crazy?

I had TT on 1/14/15 and have similar old belly button scar underneath my new belly button. Did your PS give you an explanation as to why it was done that way? Has it healed and improved?
I have my two week follow up appt and wanted to find out more info as to why my PS did it like that. I also didn't have much extra skin so I know the old belly button would be above the horizontal incision but I assumed it would have been eliminated somehow.
Let me know your thoughts.

It was becausee I didnt have much skin to be removed. If i had lots of skin then the old belly button would of been gone. I had a friend who had several lbs removed and her old belly button got removed when the skin was pulled down. Since mine was only about 1" of skin then there was not enough skin to get rid of the old BB. I am not a heavy person im 5'2" 130 lbs. 10% body fat, my issue was mostly diastis seperation. I would of loved for the old BB to be gone cause I dont like the scar but oh well. Another tatoo will cover it up. LOL

do panties lines affect tummytuck results
realself2008January 12, 2015
Well today I decided to go to work without the CG. and by mid day i started to get indentions from my pantie lines on my stomach. I am concernd that can affect the results later on down the road. I am not sure if i should keep just wearing the CG because the are smooth all around. Hum.. am I just being paranoid?
