From the very first consultation, Dr. Santdeep Paun was fantastic. I came to him completely distraught after my primary rhinoplasty went terribly wrong. He was the first person who truly validated my concerns, at a time when I was being gaslighted and dismissed by my original surgeon. Dr. Paun confirmed I had several deformities, excess cartilage, and lots scar tissue build up. He reassured me that the good news was that he could fix it. Not only did he correct the underlying deformities, but he also brought the tip down, rebalanced the structure, and gave me a result that is both aesthetically natural and functional. I’m only 2.5 months post-op, and even though I know there’s more healing to come, I’m already incredibly happy with my results. I feel I can now move on from the traumatic experience of my primary surgery. The surgery day at Weymouth Street Hospital was smooth and professional. The hospital staff were exceptional, and I felt safe and supported throughout. The aftercare has been fantastic; responsive, clear, and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Paun and I wish I had found him for my primary surgery.

I am writing this review 1 year after my surgery, so the nose is in its final stages of maturation now: From start to finish my experience was excellent. I was contemplating septorhinoplasty for about 7 years and did countless amounts of research because I wanted to make sure I was going to get the best result ; straight away after my first appointment with Mr Paun I could tell he was the right surgeon for me. Initially I went to Mr Paun for my first appointment with both aesthetic and functional concerns ; my functional concerns included trouble breathing due to an injury I had years ago, which I had been to many doctors prior to Mr Paun but they were all unable to correctly diagnose the issue, but Mr Paun knew instantly what the issue was. In terms of aesthetics, I loved how Mr Paun was confident to create a few noses that I could choose from (not all doctors do this), he showed me one that was fuller and one that was aesthetic but still natural, I chose the aesthetic one. On the morning of the surgery Mr Paun met with me and reassured me (I was a little nervous as anyone is prior to a big surgery), and I also met with the anaesthetist aswell who was great. And also many thanks to Mo, his secretary, who was able to book me in for surgery at very short notice just before Christmas, I really appreciate it. I've attached my before and after, as you can see it is a great (and natural) result :) It is pretty much identical to the picture he showed me of how it would look prior to the surgery If you are contemplating septorhinoplasty / rhinoplasty , I would very highly recommend you to go with Mr Paun. He is an excellent, talented, kind surgeon who looks after his patients and gives them excellent results. My breathing is fixed, and I have way so much more confidence thanks to him. Thank you again

Great experience, Dr Paun has fixed my nose, after 3 other surgeons failed! He knows his stuff and is straight forward in his delivery and makes the patient feel at ease, explaining everything, what he can do and what he can't do and importantly 'the why' as well. Very responsive and supportive in terms of communication (with my insurers) and great aftercare and follow up also. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve just had my four-month review with Mr Paun, and I couldn’t be happier. From start to finish, the service has been excellent, he’s been so patient with all my questions, both before and after the operation. I’ll be honest, straight after the surgery I felt quite upset. My nose looked the same, and I really doubted whether it would ever reduce in size. I had convinced myself it wasn’t going to change. But throughout that time, Mr Paun reassured me to trust the process and reminded me it would take time. By around the two-month mark, I saw a huge difference. The swelling had gone down, and my nose had reduced dramatically, leaving a beautifully natural result. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Mr Paun has such finesse, his work is subtle, natural, and refined. If you’re considering surgery, I can honestly say you won’t regret choosing him.

I had an amazing experience overall. The pre-surgery consultations with Dr. Paun - both his explanations and the imagining - gave me a realistic sense of how the results would look like. The surgery itself was extremely smooth facilitated by an attentive and proactive team at Weymouth Street Hospital. Dr. Paun’s team gave me very precise instructions for post-surgery care which I followed and only had very minor bruising for a few days. I’m now three weeks post-op, the nose still has a little swelling but the new shape is distinct. The results are extraordinarily natural, which is what I was hoping for. I couldn’t have had this surgery done at a better place or better doctor and team.

I had Rhinoplasty performed by Mr Paun back in January. The whole experience went smoothly from consultation to cast removal and check up. I had been considering Rhinoplasty for a long time amd was reccomended Mr Paun by a friend after mentioning the struggle of finding a surgeon. As soon as I met Mr Paun I knew he was the surgeon for me ! Everything was explained in detail within the consultation with 3D imaging used to get in idea of the achievable result. There was no over promising and it wad made clear what could be made possible for the structure of my nose without impacting the function. This is something that stood out for me as function was prioritised as well as the aesthetic result. I also like that the goal was a natural nose that created facial harmony and other facial features are taken into consideration. Surgery day I was extremely nervous due to never going under anesthesia before but I had a visit from the Anaesthetist, multiple nurses, dietitian and Mr Paun himself which all put me at ease. If anyone else has a fear of anasthesia all I can say is that there really is nothing to worry about and I am unsure why I was so fearful. I was well cared for post surgery (including multiple bowls of ice cream) and rested as instructed when discharged. When having my cast removed I initially loved the results but a couple days later had a wobble and got very emotional about the nose as it was so swollen and far from the expected result at this point (which is normal). I had done alot of research about the identity crisis people can go through after having surgery and did prepare for it but still went through it. I contacted Mr Paun with my concerns and recieved a prompt response re assuring me the swelling will decrease (which it did). I am 4 months post op and absolutely love my nose, this isn't even the final result so I can't wait to see what it looks like at the 1 year mark. I wish I had done it sooner ! I had a revision rhinoplasty with Mr Paun last year. He was very thorough and attentive during the consultation. The procedure went very smoothly and I am very happy with my results. I have been back several times (for follow-ups as due to thicker skin the swelling was taking a bit longer to settle). He’s been absolutely lovely. I’ve had two rounds of steroid injections and the last round has been very effective.
