My surgery was Dec 3, 2018. Pre op easy and when I woke up 4 hours later I was not in any pain. Later in the evening the pain was minimal but felt like slight bee stings. Easy fix with pain meds and relaxation. Day 2 I got up and dressed with makeup on to go to first post op to remove bulky bandages. All was well except our road trip was quite bumpy which made things quite uncomfortable. As soon as I got there they removed bandages and HOLY COW my breast are up there and beautiful! Ladies.... use wrap to lock those girls down on bumpy car rides!
She knows what she is doing and is super sweet and funny! This review was created as part of a nomination to the RealSelf I Love My Injector Campaign.
I have nursed 5 children and finally decided it wa time to enjoy the second half of my life starting with new boobs. I was a DD before kids and I am Now a 38C after having children. I am debating on if I can get away without a lift. I’m wanting large implants. Like 600 maybe ???? Updated on 17 Sep 2018: Ok so met with the doc and we have decided to go with 600HP over the muscle with no lift Updated on 3 Oct 2018: Updated on 4 Oct 2018: Updated on 24 Oct 2018: Before I had kids I was a nice full D. After nursing 5 kids I was a sad C and I wanted to fluff the girls Back up. I didn’t want the scars from a lift so opted for over the muscle implants. My dr used 600cc silicone high profile implants from Mentor
Day of Surgery In my case I had a lot of asymmetry. I could barely fit out a 32A without gaping on my right breast! I forgot to take any pictures before my surgery but here are some pictures day 1 of my surgery. The band around my chest pushed my nipples down making them look lower than the actually are! I'm more than thrilled about my results! The original plan was to get 350cc and 325cc, but once on the operating table Dr. Branman and his team realized that the 325cc was too large so they changed it to 320cc ! The team was very prepared for any situation and always have backups! First day post op I remember being very sore and having trouble finding a comfortable position to sit or lay down in. I kept a notebook on what time I took my medication and took my pain medication 3 times, muscle relaxant 3 times, SinEcch 2 times, and antibiotic 3 times. They were swollen but I can tell when they start dropping they're going to be beautiful! Dr. Branman knew what would be best for my frame and I'm excited to see when they drop and fluff! Updated on 25 May 2017: I'm not too happy about my scars because I'm worried they might turn into keloid scars but I contacted their office and they said that they will be able to use corticosteroid shots if keloids end up forming so that eased my mind! I have a history of keloid formation from past piercings. The implants are set very high on my chest but I expected that! I've been taking my pain medication 3 times a day and keeping my band on my chest all day besides when I'm showering. I'm struggling to keep it up so I'm having to readjust it every so often! My breasts have been itchy, probably from my skin stretching and I've been doing my arm exercises! I have more range of motion in my arms now! When they pain is tolerable I use Tylenol instead of my narcotic but I keep a close track on a notepad! I'm trying my best to wean off of the narcotic! I do love the clevage so far and ready to see these babes start dropping! Updated on 26 May 2017: I am able to reach both hands up over my head to where my bicep touched my head. I do these exercises at least once every hour like my doctor recommended. My biggest issue today was getting out of bed. I woke up around 3am this morning and the pain around my armpits and the top of my chest was annoying. I could not find a comfortable position to lay down, I tired icing it, but gave in and took a muscle relaxant. Now it is currently 8am and the pain isn't terrible, the only real issue right now is my skin is a little itchy, which i can fix with icing it! I noticed my arms are more stiff in the mornings, but the stiffness goes away throughout the day when I'm up and about! Updated on 28 May 2017: I am not taking my pain medications anymore other than Tylenol every 6 hours. I will ice the sides of my breasts and the top of them throughout the day when they're itchy or in minor pain. Yesterday I took my band off for the first time to wear a dress for about 2 hours and WOW the cleavage looks amazing!! I try to wear my band at least 23 hours a day and I have not worn a bra yet. I went to Victoria Secrets to get my breast measured and she said that I am a 34D possibly a 34C, it really just depends on how much they drop and considering I didn't have a lot of breast tissue to work with at the beginning I am completely okay with with a 34C ! The only real issue I have right now is bloating. Before I get into the bloating situation I want you to know a bit on my background. I am an active weight lifting 20 year old, I have a flexible diet of eating healthy and then also never restricting myself if I really want that chocolate bar! Before the surgery I bloated when I had a cheat meal filled with sodium, sugars, and all that yummy stuff that my body doesn't need. After my surgery I noticed I would bloat regardless of what I ate. My diet has been relatively clean, I haven't been exercising (as recommended by my doctor) and it's just an uncomfortable and unflattering figure to my abdomen. My bruising has decreased and cleaning the incision sites are not painful! Updated on 5 Jun 2017: So my friend is a photographer and we decided to do a boudoir photoshoot with the new babies! I still have not gotten my sutured out yet (I'm getting them removed today) and Dr. Branman said not to wear a bra yet but I kind of disobeyed just for an hour for this shoot! The lingerie that did have an underwire I made sure was above my suture line and was not rubbing against them. I did not have any discomfort during the short and these babies look amazing!! The only thing edited from these photos was some of the lighting to soften the picture up, otherwise this is the size and how they look on my frame! I tried to post some from different angles so y'all could get a better look at what it looks like! Updated on 5 Jun 2017: Okay the removal was not bad at all, what was bad was the breast massage!! Oh my goodness I have to add so much pressure and I can't do it by myself. My boyfriend helped me today and he was in pain to see me in pain! The technique is to place my palm close to my nipple, pull the skin up, and push downwards. It's a sharp pain but it suppose to help the implant fall into the pocket, bring my nipple towards the center of the implant and loosen to skin up. I am doing this 5-6times for 1 minute each day..this is going to be a painful two weeks (-': I am still wearing the band as much as possible! Updated on 22 Jun 2017: I'm seeing them drop a lot more!! I just started to do light workouts today but no weights! They have soften up a lot since the surgery! I'm starting to see them drop! I am continuing my breast massage exercises and there is less pain! Updated on 16 Jul 2017: I am almost 2 months post op and I love them! My nipples are still sensitive but I talked to Dr. Branman and he confirmed that the sensitivity is normal! I still can't wear bras or work out upper body until they fully drop. My breasts are not tender and the breast exercises are not a sharp pain ! Occasionally I will have an aching ike pain that lasts only 30 secs or so in my breasts but I believe that just nerve regeneration! Updated on 25 Jul 2017: I've been using the silicon strips from walmart!
Two thumbs up to Dr. Branman and his staff. It took a bit longer for one of my breast to heal, which was difficult to handle as the other one was perfect! After reading some horror stories about other doctors (one told his patient to go home and just keep it clean - I could tell from the pics she posted that her boob was infected), I really appreciate the time and compassion of the staff here. Dr. Branman saw me regularly and eventually referred me to a wound clinic to determine that I had a bacteria that was keeping me from healing. Dr. B saw me throughout the process (no additional charges) and wanted to do scar repair surgery (also at no charge), but I think I will save my next surgery experience for a tummy tuck. Now I'm all healed and love my new friends...they are just as cute as the wanna be!
At 21 I had my initial BA. 5'4" 117lbs a/b cup 325 mod profile saline unders overfilled to 375 (32D cup) At 38 after breast feeding children, gaining and losing weight, and getting into possibly the best shape of my life (around 125-130lbs) my 1st BA left something to be desired. I had quite a lot of rippling on the sides, and they did not feel "natural." Decided because I had started out with such a small amount of breast tissue that silicone may be a better fit for me. Found my wonderful surgeon, Dr Branman, and decided to go for it! Swapped out for 590 UHP silicone unders. Not sure what my new bra size is yet. Still in the beginning stages of healing but my husband and I could not be more satisfied with the outcome. Updated on 6 Jun 2016: Just had my 4 wk checkup and the girls are healing well. Still waiting on the left to round out a little. Advised to start massage on just the left side to help encourage the progress. I will be posting pics soon...
One afternoon after putting my children to bed I began to undress for my nightly shower. After removing my bra I quickly realized that my right saline implant had ruptured. Over the course of the next week I consulted with no less than 6 plastic surgeons. Each quoted me a different price and all had their different opinions as to what I should do to fix my problem. Dr. Branman blew me away. His office staff was so incredibly understanding and accommodating. His financial manager was amazing and the medical staff was amazing. All that aside, my breasts are PERFECT! They are exactly what I wanted. Exactly!!!! I will never see another plastic surgeon again. Dr. Branman and his staff took a horrifying and traumatizing experience and turned it into a wonderful one. Updated on 24 Feb 2016: I am loving these babies. Stay diligent with your cocoa butter and take it easy, that's my advice! No heavy lifting! I am driving the kiddos to school and have discontinued all pain meds and could not be happier! Maybe I could have gone a little bigger but your skin will only stretch so much, plus they still have not dropped yet.. Almost a week out and I still give Dr. Branman and his staff a A+++++++! I have never felt sexier. :) The boyfriend can't wait to get his hands on them either! ;) Updated on 1 Mar 2016: This was my first visit back. Got my stitches out and everything is looking great. Time to start treating those scars with meds. Dr. did tell me to go ahead and start wearing a bra. Apparently silicone is heavier. Don't want to go bra less too much or I'll have to lift them in a few years.... anyhoo.... Still in love with them. Great Doc. Great Staff. Great Decision!
I finally had enough of my stomach hanging over my pants,my stomach looking like tiger scratches,a belly button that was stretched gross and embarrassing...I had enough. Honestly it was the worst pain of my entire life. The worst. But it was worth it,so very worth it omg I feel like an entirely different person. I feel beautiful again, and I really hate I took so long to get this surgery Updated on 6 Mar 2016: 4 1/2 months post op still happy AsF!!! I love you Dr.Branman!!!
Had been wanting to get a breast augmentation for several years ,had kids and what little breast I had left ,no upper pole fullness stared with 32A and was wanting to go to a DD . Done my research found the doctor I wanted to use made my consultation date on 5/6/2014, tryed on sizer decided on 400/450 . Really liked the Dr ,his staff and he offered rapid recovery so made my desission that day I was going with him . Set the date for surgery which was 10 days after consultation and payed ,had my blood done, got everything in order for surgery filled my prescriptions. Day of surgery I was so nervous just about backed out on having the breast augmentation done ,the nurse reassured me everything would go good. After surgery I woke up filling really good no pain or tightness didn't have any bandages wrapped around me or a bra they told me too just go without a bra and do my arm exercise and try and pull my tape off after 24hrs and start cleaning with peroxide and apply bandages and I was good to go. The next day everything was good didn't have any bruises the Dr gave me some meds to take to prevent bruising and swelling I didn't have any pain only meds I took was just my muscle relaxer and antibiotics . On day 10 had my stitches taken out and he look at my breast and said he believes they had already dropped in place and all that I had to do was to massage my breast and wait for them to fluff . Hi my name is Debbie. I'm 40 years old, no kids and 5'2 (after gaining a little weight) my cup size is 36c (with a push up bra). I have ways wanted to get a BA due to not feeling sexy enough or always having to buy push up bras to get good cleavage. I went to see my PS on January 23th and decided to get a BA ASAP! He was very professional. I thought i might feel funny showing him my breast and allowing him to measure every part of my breast and chest, down to my nipples but I didn't. We decided with my measurements I needed 500cc's and using Mentor HP Saline, under the muscle. We decided to do my surgery on the next available day, February 4th!! I realized we had a lot to do with such short time till surgery day. I went the very next day, Jan 24th for a mammogram. That went good, thank god, since I had never had one. At that moment, I started becoming excited because this was really going to happen. I went for my pos op on January 27th. The nurse talked to me about what to expect and how to dress the day of surgery. She told me that when I woke up after surgery, it would feel like an elephant was setting on my chest and be sore/pain but they would give me something extra for pain before I went home. She explained that I would need to bring my prescriptions the day of surgery (which she gave to me that day) and to buy peroxide and gauge sponges for the day after surgery. I was told I would need to start doing arm exercises the minute I get home. I needed to raise my arms over my head 5 times every hour and to start Slowly walking the next day. I was told the next day after surgery I could take a shower and should take the tape of my stitches and use the peroxide and gauges to clean them. I was becoming more and more excited knowing the BIG day was getting closer. Before I left the pos op appointment, she took me to take before pictures then sent me on my way for blood work. I have 1 week from today till my surgery and have started to get things in place to make my recovery smooth sailing (hopefully) lol! I can't take any medications for colds or headaches (but Tylenol) till after my surgery because these things could cause your blood to thin and make me bleed more than usual. So with the weather, I'm praying I can keep off any sickness. I'm super excited and nervous at the same time. I know I will be sore for a few weeks and hopefully the pain will subside after a few days. I will keep y'all posted and show pics after. Prayers please! Updated on 3 Feb 2014: So it's the night before my BA. I'm super excited and nervous but I know I'm gonna love the new me! My doctors nurse called me today to check on me and see if I had questions. She told me all rest and blood work was great so surgery is a go! I gotta be there tomorrow at 11:45. I'll keep you posted! Oh and post pics. :) Updated on 4 Feb 2014: This is the morning of surgery! I still have 2 hrs before BA and the weathers getting bad. They called me at 6:30am this morning asking me to come in at 12:30 (they are not opening till 12 today). Feel good right now not to nervous yet. I started my meds (sinecch) last night and it made me feel really loopy and dizzy. This is my before pic and looking forward to a new me!!! Updated on 4 Feb 2014: Before BA Updated on 4 Feb 2014: Well I did it!!! I'm extremely sore on the sides of my breast and it hurts to do my arm exercises. My chest is very tight and when I stand up I have to make myself stand straight bc it feels better to slump over. Ready for the uncomfortableness to go away! Happy I did it though!!!!! Updated on 5 Feb 2014: Well it's day after surgery and I haven't really slept all night just a few here and there. Still sore and tight but keeping up on my meds. I never though raising my arms would take so much out of you. Every now and then I get a burning sensation but I here that's normal. Happy with results but really for them to drop some. Lol Here's a pic of the morning after. Updated on 5 Feb 2014: I seem to be moving around much better today Updated on 5 Feb 2014: Well I've moved around more today. Still seem to be extremely sore and have been doing my exercises. My left breast is sorer than the right and burns a little. Hopping tomorrow is better. Updated on 7 Feb 2014: I've been moving around much better today. Tried picking up the house some, even though it rally wasn't dirty, I'm a freak about things being in place. We To to the store yesterday but was ready to go home shortly after. Exercises are getting easier. Still having more soreness around my left boob but was able to shower and dress myself today. It feels more tender under my left breast then my right one. They went under the muscle so I think my muscle is bad at me lol. I got a new bed yesterday and was trying to fix it up as much as I could but my spouse wouldn't let me do anything. I actually got a full nights rest until about 6am when I tried to roll over on my side. So he got up and got me a pain med, said he was worried bc I was moaning. We have a 9 mth old bulldog that's full of energy and today's my first day with her alone. She's been really good with me, it's like she knows. It's cold here and I've been able to stoke the fire and add wood. For day 4 I think things are going great! Here's a few pics Updated on 7 Feb 2014: I'm feeling bloated as well. I've been taking miralax and finally used the bathroom this morning Updated on 7 Feb 2014: And my back seems to ache some. I think it's due to the extra weight. I got 500cc in each. Updated on 8 Feb 2014: Day 5 and I woke up this morning around 6.30 with a horrible burning sensation on the left side of my left breast. I seem to be having more issues with this one. Figured i would get up and move around to make it feel better. I haven't taken a pain pill but the movement seems to help a lot! I know it's only been 5 days and people heal different but I'm ready for day 10 or 20. Lol. Updated on 9 Feb 2014: I'm feeling much better today. Moving around and went to brunch with friends then shopped for new tank tops. I seem to be wearing a lot of them lately. I've been making fires (because it's cold) and stoking it too. Still have burning sensations from time to time but just breath my way through them. My arm exercises seem to help a lot! For some reason I've had the hiccups several times today, first time I got them I almost feel to my knees. Lol.. But now they are no biggy. Morning are still rough with getting out of bed but that gets much better day by day!! Here's a few pics from today. Updated on 10 Feb 2014: I felt good today, very little pain or discomfort. Still have a burning sensation when I wake up and get out of bed. I went back to work today, started at 6am and worked till 7:30pm. Might of over did it some not to sore but back is still aching from time to time. I seem to lose energy really fast still. I stopped taking the Vicodin but felt like I needed one tonight. My left breast is not dropping like the right but it all heals differently. Super glad I did it though. I found during work today some people would look but with " not looking at your boobs look" lol. Haven't wore a bra since PS doesn't want me too in till sutures are out. I go on the 17th for that. Been wearing tanks and my boobs look awesome in them. I love the extra confidence they have came me. Ready to be able to get sized and see what size I actually am. 500 cc is the way to go for sure!!! Here's more pics but they are after a very long day at wrk. Updated on 11 Feb 2014: So it's been a week today since my BA and it's getting easier everyday! Went back to work yesterday and usually my days are simi easy depending on the day but for my first day back it was non stop busy busy. I'm finding that my energy level is still not back to normal yet but when I get tired it hits fast and the energy gets sucked right out of me until I slow down and relax. It was kinda funny today. I fell out of my chair at work (didn't hurt myself, thank god) but everyone was laughing after they asked if I was ok. Lol Then I stopped by the store on the way home and the wind took my cart while unloading, rolling it down the hill toward another car. I was running or trying to run to get it. Only if I could of had it on video. So I had an enventfull day to say the lest. Feeling great through. Lol Updated on 13 Feb 2014: Day 9 and can't wait for it to start getting warm outside! Ready to show these girls off! Loving my new look and confidence has risen already. Little sore still but super glad I did it finally after all these years. Glad I went with 500 instead of 450. It's true when the PS tells you the more you move the better you'll feel! I get my sutures out on Monday the 17th. I'm kinda a freak about scares so ready to start putting mederma cream on it. Lol Updated on 16 Feb 2014: Sorry ladies haven't been on here in a few days. I've had a lot going on. With trying to heal and on day 6 I had to make a trip to Branson MO. My uncle was very sick and I didn't make it time for its a 3 hr drive from LIttle Rock. And let me tell you I think my sister hit every pot hole in the road she could find (haha). Then spent the rest of the days gettting things arranged with family. Yesterday was the funeral. Things are good and the Valiums I had from my BA helped me through. I have to say though I woke up this morning pretty sore and haven't had that in a few days. I think it was from everyone hugging me and some just wouldn't let go. I didn't tell them to be gently bc I'm a private person and didn't want to go around telling everyone I just had that done so don't hug me. Lol. But I feel great and things are going as planned. I go get my sutures taken out tomorrow. I have no bruising but the incision part is still little sore and I don't really know how to explain it but kinda tight. I guess that's from scar tissue healing there. I'll find out tomorrow. Super happy with my new look!! It was about 70 here today so I sported a tank top out and about showing my new boobies off!! :))) ???????????????? Updated on 16 Feb 2014: Ready for these sutures to come out tomorrow. They are rubbing me raw under neath I think. Updated on 17 Feb 2014: I got my sutures out today. They said I'm healing great just slow on the dropping. They are still kinda high. My BS did not give me a bra to wear bc he wants me to do hand exercises pushing and rolling them into the pocket and letting them just hang hoping this will help too. I have to say the exercise kinda hurts. Since he did the exercise on me in the visit my boobs have been really sore more than normal. Has anyone else had to do this or am I just a slow healer? I haven't taken the valiums (3xday) like I'm suppose to do due bc I can't take them while at wrk. Happy but sad still love my new look anyways! Updated on 18 Feb 2014: I love this site and you girls! I know we all live different places round the world. I also know with the hussle of the days it's hard to get on her. But very morning I wake up and look to see new reviews or just kind words from everyone, even if they are not for me! I hope everyone has a blessed and beautiful day!! Updated on 18 Feb 2014: So I know it's only been 2wks since my BA and I went back to wrk on day 6. I have had my ups and downs and moments of feeling great then totally drained. Went from no pain to having burning. Yesterday my sutures came out and PS told me they looked great but was still high. So he gave me different exercises to do. I've did them about 3x today (privately) at wrk. Then about 4 hrs b4 getting off wrk my nipples felt like they were raw and extremely sore. I do know or think I know, that this is a normal sign of healing and everyone is different. But my gosh I hadn't taken a pain pill for days and couldn't wait to get home to take one and go topless around the house. I don't know if my post are posting bc this site sometimes doesn't post all my comments. Is anyone else having this issue? I went under the muscle 500cc. Please any advise would be greatly appreciated! Updated on 21 Feb 2014: I haven't been on here in a few days. But I'm healing great and they are finally starting to drop. I was starting to cough yesterday and then realized (oh no) I'm getting sick. I got some kinda of bug. I woke up all stuffed up and still coughing. Guess my immune system is all jacked up tight now. Other then that, I am loving my new boobes! Hope all is doing great and healing beautifully! Updated on 28 Feb 2014: Well I haven't been on here in a few days but have been loving All the updates! I did get sick about a week after surgery (dang weather). With healing and then a chest/sinus cold it's been a rough couple of weeks! I'm doing good and healing just fine the PS said! If god would just take this sickness away I think my tightness in my chest would go away. I'm super happy that everyone is doing wonderful! :) I'll post more pics soon Updated on 1 Mar 2014: Still haven't fully dropped but my PS said that is common since my normal breast muscles were musclier. Updated on 22 Apr 2014: I haven't been on here in months but work has kept me busy! It's been almost 3mths since my BA and the girls are looking wonderful! I'm super excited about summer and have had numerous compliments. It seemed like it took about 2mths for then to really feel like they were mine and not foreign objects lol. I hope everyone is doing great!!
