Dr. Nalluri was amazing to work with. He made me feel comfortable and set realistic expectations. There was one spot I wanted minor work on post op and he was able to get to it. The staff and nurses at Elite are also amazing! If you're hesitant, get a consultation. Honestly, they don't disappoint.
My experience at Elite Body Sculpture has been amazing. I got my arms, armpits and back bra roll air sculpted. Im three months post-op and I’ve had good results so far. I was nervous for the procedure but the numbing medicine really makes it so you barely feel anything, it just feels like pressure. Dr. Nalluri was very comforting and kind and did a great job. I will definitely be returning for other areas.
Dr. Nalluri is amazing! Am My nurse Dre made me feel so comfortable… seriously the easiest procedure and the office staff makes you feel like royalty… Worth it to have a far less invasive procedure and be working the next day.
Updated on 29 Apr 2017: I know you must think I am crazy but I was not completely happy with my previous augmentation. I had saline and I started to see rippling on my right side. I also had extra skin sagging on the side of each breast near the armpits. We realized that my skin is very elastic-y and stretches out easily. After talking with my husband and dr, we decided to go back in and switch out the saline for silicone. I wanted more upper pole fullness and more space between the breast. Updated on 29 Apr 2017: My husband and I arrived at the surgical center at 9:45am for my 11:30am surgery. I was called back at around 11:00 and gave the urine sample. I still had the steri strips on since I was only 1 month post op from the 1st augmentation. The nurse to my vitals and then took of the steri strips and cleaned the chest area before I changed into my gown. I had a headache from not eating or drinking from the night before. An IV was started and it seemed like we were ready to rock and roll but we were waiting for a while. It was around 12:30pm where I really needed to have the anesthesiologist give me something for my headache. As soon as they pushed those meds, it took my headache away. The dr. came in and apologized for taking so long but he was doing a breast lift and implant before me and it ran long. The room then had to be cleaned and sterilized. He marked my breast and we went over the procedure again. I was wheeled into the operating room, given some drugs and next I knew, I was done! I knew what to expect and it was not bad at all. I wake up from anesthesia pretty easily and this time was just as easy. I was nauseated this time even though I wasn't last time. I ate some crackers, had some ginger ale and peed. I was then released to go home. By the way, they have me a pink bra to go home in! The only colors I have seen in pictures or in youtube were tan or black. My stats: 50yrs old, 123lbs, 5'3". Had HP Mentor Smooth Round 535cc's Silicone implants Updated on 29 Apr 2017: I feel good! The pain is more of a pressure. Like an elephant sitting on my chest. It hurts most first thin in the morning trying to get out of bed. I am a pretty restless sleeper. It has been over a month that I have had to sleep on my back. I find that sleeping without a pillow works for me. I took a half of a sleeping pill and my pain meds at 10pm and woke up at 2am to pee. I then took more pain meds, the other half of the sleeping pill and a stool softener. I was awake again at 6 so I took more pain meds. Funny that I needed them every 4 hours like clockwork. I had a pretty decent breakfast of 1 egg with a piece of toast and 1 piece of bacon. Unfortunately, that came back up about 15 minutes later and then I just vomited up lots of water after that. Around lunch time I really didn't want to eat but I had a slice of cheese and a chicken wing and it sat pretty well in my stomach. I managed to get up and fold laundry, wash some dishes and later on made some dinner for my some when he came home from work. My pain level has probably been around a 4 today. I'm sure tomorrow will be better. Last time it was on Monday that I felt the worst. I had my first surgery on a Friday and was back at work on Tuesday. I think I will be back at work in Monday this time. Updated on 30 Apr 2017: Woke up with MAJOR morning boob soreness bit it was to be expected. My husband gave me a bath and washed my hair because I cant get my bandages wet for 2 days. I folded laundry and washed dishes. I feel great today! Just like clockwork, pain comes back every 4 hours so I am still taking my meds. I went to Walmart to get a different bra because none of my shirts will cover the pink compression bra. I am supposed to see the dr on Thursday but am trying to move it back to Wednesday. I can't take the day off because someone else in my office is off. Last picture is for fun. My husband asked for the saline implants that were removed and we put them in my sjorts????????????. Lol Updated on 1 May 2017: Back to work today! I wore a button up shirt so it doesn't show as much. I didn't want too many questions from coworkers. I felt pretty good but I knew to take a pain pill around 10am after eating a bagel. I work a desk job so I felt it would be a cake walk. What I underestimated was how I would feel sitting up all day. For the last 2 days, I have taken time to sit up and lay down as need to help eliviate pain so when 3:00pm came around, I was in major pain! I couldn't wait until 4:00pm to get home and take another pill. The bloating was horrible today. My stomach was so extended and the gas and burping did not stop for hours. I have taken colace bit I still haven't pooped for a couple of days. I have my first post op dr. appointment on Thursday but I have to work so I am trying to get in on Wednesday due to a half day at work. I am sure my day tomorrow will be better. No photo-i look the same
I visited Nalluri plastic surgery in 2015 for a consult for breast surgery. At the time, I was only a 32 A. I had never gone through surgery and I was extremely nervous to even go to the consult! The consult ended up being fun and interesting, the dr. Nalluri spent an entire hour with me showing me his results, explaining the procedure, and even had a camera that could morph me breasts to show me an example of what they could look like after the surgery. This really helped me decide which implants to pick and made me even more excited. The night before surgery dr. Nalluri actually called me himself the night before on a Sunday to make sure I was ready and relaxed - this was SUCH a nice touch to the entire experience! While I was recovery in surgery, my parents said that dr. Nalluri found them in the hospital waiting room and chatted with them multiple times to give them updates on me and tell them how the surgery went, etc. After the surgery, once I was home recovering, dr. Nalluri kept in contact with me once again by calling me multiple times. The phone calls from the dr. himself really made it a personable experience and made me 100% relaxed. I would have been fine with a nurse or assistant calling me, but the fact that the dr. took time out of his day to call and check on me really was the icing on the cake. I am 2 years post op and could not be happier with my results. I still visit the office occasionally for laser treatments and skincare! I am definitely hooked and a life-long patient. I cannot thank dr. Nalluri and the office for such a great experience - and I absolutely recommend this doctor and office for any one looking for a great experience and great results.
I am just 3 weeks into recovery from surgery. There is so much difference in my legs! I want anyone considering this type of surgery to know that Dr. Raja Nalluri did my surgery. He is artistic and did a beautiful job in giving me legs that I no longer feel so self conscious about. I recommend him without hesitation. It is too soon to have after photos to post
Hello all! I wanted to share my experience with Airsculpt since I know how valuable reading reviews was to me in making my decision. I’m in my early 30s, 5’7” and about 140lbs. My weight has bounced around a couple times in my life. I was a pretty plump kid and stayed overweight into my late teens. In college I dropped quite a bit of weight and went from about a size 12 to around a size 2/4. Unfortunately within a couple years I gained a substantial amount of weight again before I hit my peak of about 190lb. I started gradually losing weight before dropping a ton of weight quickly after starting my first job out of graduate school. I went from about a 10/12 to a 0 in a year and a half. Since then (approx 3.5 years), I’ve been a pretty constant 0/2 and about 135-140lbs. Needless to say, this yo-yoing in my younger days left my body deformed, for a lack of a better word. While friends and family refer to me as “skinny,” I have loose skin on my lower abdomen, as well as fat under my chin and around my midsection that will not go away despite walking/jogging multiple miles daily, doing strength training about three days a week, and eating healthier. I also feel my weight loss has wreaked havoc on my breasts; whenever I lost weight it seemed to come from my breasts first, leaving them small and deflated looking. Between finally having the means to do so and the time to do it (working from home during COVID has had its perks), I decided to start exploring options for correcting all these things that’ve bothered me for so long. I initially was considering a full tummy tuck, but for a multitude of reasons I decided against it (heavily invasive, too much down time, too expensive to get any other procedures done simultaneously). Then I came across Elite Body Sculpture, got a quote, and started digging into reviews. Based on my research, I decided this was the best option for me. I appreciated the fact I could knock out a lot of procedures at once, and those procedures were not performed under general anesthesia, were drainless, and had significantly less downtime. I also researched Dr. Nalluri who had nothing but glowing reviews. So, I am booked bright and early tomorrow morning for the following: Double chin Upper abdomen Lower abdomen Hips/flanks Tiny tuck Up a Cup I will begin posting after photos in the next few days. Wish me luck! Updated on 27 Jul 2021: Recovering from my procedures I had earlier today. I got to the clinic early and filled out all the informed consent forms (of course they go over worst-case scenarios, which made me even more anxious about the procedure). After that, my nurse Diana led me back to the pre-op room where she went over all care instructions. She was so warm and reassuring and was able to tell me exactly what to expect. Dr. Nalluri then came in to mark me up with the classic blue marker and to take photos. We discussed all my concerns and he really understood exactly what I was looking for. He noted I did not have much fat under my chin (I always felt like it was super obvious, but I recognize it’s more minimal than some other folks’). But he understood that I really was hoping for a more defined jaw and chin and he was confident this procedure would help. Regarding my excess skin, he was honest that I had some excess skin above the belly button (I knew this going into it, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do a full tummy tuck for reasons I noted in my last post). But he thought with the Airsculpt part of the procedure it would likely be less obvious. Then we discussed the incision point for the Tiny Tuck and appearance of my belly button. I have a “frowny face” belly button (as depicted in my “before” pictures yesterday) and I’d been cautioned previously that this could be exacerbated with a Tiny Tuck. Regarding the incision point, I asked if it could be as low as possible (I’d seen some other Mini TTs where the incision was high and could be visible with some swimwear/lingerie, and I wanted to avoid that if possible!). He thought that was totally feasible and marked the incision point, which I was more than happy with. Regarding the belly button, he showed me what it may look like if he “anchored” the center of my lower abdomen a certain way, and it was a marked improvement! Next, nurse Diana administered all my happy drugs (truly worked wonders for my nerves), antibiotics, and anti nausea meds (they worked!). Then I went into the op room. I got to pick my music (they have an Amazon Echo and it’s super easy to pick your music!). Nurse Diana then administered another shot (I’m spacing out on the name), which burned (she warned me to expect it!) but the pain subsided quickly. Dr. Nalluri was very communicative about what he was doing. The numbing of the fat was easily the most painful part. I like to think I have high pain tolerance but man did I grab that nitrous oxide quickly! After that I just felt highly intoxicated and it all was much less painful. After that all I could feel was pressure on the various treatment areas. The Airsculpt was obviously performed first, followed by the Tiny Tuck, and lastly the Up a Cup. The whole thing just flew by. Before I knew it I was done! Nurse Diana again went over all the post op care with the pads, and helped me get into my bra, faja, and neck garment. Then I went into the recovery area where she had a Gatorade and Clif bar waiting for me. Several minutes later my ride came to sign me out, and I was on my way! Right afterwards I felt fantastic. I was literally feeling zero pain. I walked down a set of stairs no problem. When I got home I did lay down and promptly conked out, which Nurse Diana suspected would happen. When I woke up everything felt like such a blur; like I’d dreamt everything! The pain then really started kicking in, particularly around my Tiny Tuck incision area. I took the 800mg ibuprofen prescription pill and went back to nap some more. When I hit up a couple hours later I was still in quite a bit of pain around my abdomen so I caved and took the codeine/Tylenol prescription. That helped immensely. I was even able to walk around doing some tidying of my house. I was shocked how good I felt after undergoing so many procedures! Of course, I’ll continue to post with my progress. I’m confined to my bra/faja/chin wrap for another couple days but Nurse Diana did take a snap after my Tiny Tuck incision that I can share now. Stay tuned! Updated on 6 Aug 2021: Honestly I’ve been holding off on this update because I am a bit discouraged that I’m not seeing better results for my full abdominal and Tiny Tuck. Both Nurse Emily and Nurse Diana told me to expect a lot of swelling, and that swelling could last weeks, so I’m hoping that’s what’s going on. As you can see from the photos my stomach is not exactly flat and it’s definitely pinchable. I was also hoping for a slightly better belly button appearance. Hmph. I am, however, happy with my Up a Cup and double chin procedures. I was told to expect my breast size to decrease quite a bit between swelling going down and fat loss (I knew not to expect 100% of the fat to survive), but they feel MASSIVE compared to my flat chest pre-procedure. So I am thinking even after fat loss and the subsiding of any swelling in my chest area, I’ll still come out of this with greatly improved breast size. The photo I’m including here is in my recovery bra, which is not padded at all. Regarding the double chin procedure, I think the before and after photos speak for themselves. I’m not sure if I’m still experiencing swelling in that area, but even if this is the final result, I would be satisfied. As for my recovery, it’s been more than tolerable. I was quite sore for a few days, but after the first two days I was able to limit my use of the Tylenol/codeine prescription to just before bedtime and ibuprofen during the day. And for the past few days, I haven’t needed any ibuprofen during the day, though I’ve still been taking the Tylenol/codeine at night since sleeping has been less comfortable (due to the Up a Cup procedure, I can ONLY sleep on my back—pressure on my breasts could result in decreased fat retention). I’m now able to walk a few miles a day on my treadmill (nothing strenuous since I need to heal more!), and the soreness is down to what I’d expect the day after a good ab workout. I’ve also been taking Arnica tablets for bruising and swelling (both nurses recommended it), but I’m not sure whether it’s making any difference. Im still wearing all my garments almost 24/7. I’ve gone out in public without my chin compression garment, but aside from that I’ve only removed them to wash them and to shower. On that note, one thing I didn’t know going into this is that you have to wear a foam pad under your compression garment, so if you’re planning to get any part of your abs done, factor in the fact you'll probably need to wear baggy clothes for at least a couple weeks after your procedure. I have exactly one dress that manages to conceal my pregnant looking tummy when I need to go out to run errands, which isn’t super fun, but it is what it is. Anyway, I hope this update helps others considering any of these procedures. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. I’ll update again soon. Updated on 16 Aug 2021: Wanted to just give a quick update on my progress. My chin is still looking pretty good. I’ve experienced some on and off swelling, and still have a couple lumps that I can feel when I apply pressure under my chin, but overall I’m not concerned about this since it’s not really noticeable to others and I’m still early in the process. My tummy is still not as flat as I was hoping. Now that my tape came off on my incision I can see there’s still a small ridge that kind of sticks out, versus a nice flat appearance. But I can tell from the pics it’s better than before. And I’m hoping though that that the ridge/slight bulge that’s still visible could be due to residual swelling. I posted before and after pics in more or less the same clothing (except I’m wearing my unpadded recovery bra instead of a sports bra in the after) for easy comparison. I think the breast swelling has gone down a bit. They’re still nicely sized, but not quite as big as when I left the office and in the first couple weeks following. I’m still satisfied on that front. Let me know if you have any questions! Updated on 9 Dec 2021: I know it’s been a while but I wanted to provide an update on my progress for anyone who’s curious. As I indicated in my last post, I still had a noticeable pouch three weeks post op. I was assured I was still experiencing significant swelling, but three months out, it was still quite prominent. Not only that, but it was super pinchable! It appeared to me to be a combination of both skin and residual fat. The incision was also *much* higher than I’d discussed with the surgeon, and I noticed my hips were the exact same in terms of measurements—very pinchable, just like my abdomen. Finally, my breasts shrunk even more than I could have imagined, given how they first looked post-op. I’ve attached photos from just after my three-month follow-up so you can see what I mean. My follow-up appointment was November 8. I don’t want to get into detail, but the doctor was very defensive and I felt as though my concerns were minimized to a significant degree. Thankfully, the wonderful staff (including nurse Emily, who is a rockstar) understood my concerns and let me know I could get a second opinion, and the practice manager got me in ASAP to see Dr. Bullis for that purpose. Today I met with Dr. Bullis and felt my concerns were finally validated; he signed off on revisions. He took a look at the incision and treatment areas and felt more skin could be removed, the incision placed lower, and more fat could be removed (and transferred!). I cannot explain how relieved I felt. While it’s unfortunate I have to undergo this all again, I’m optimistic that I can finally get results that align more with what I’d expected, and I’m pleased by how the staff, Dr. Bullis, and the practice manager have handled this situation. I have not yet scheduled my revision, but will continue to update.
I thought I would wait to write this review until the “final” results emerge. However, after really thinking about the way I have been treated, even if by some miracle my lips resolve, I feel I need to protect others, especially young women, from what I’ve been through. Walking through the doors of Elite has been the worst thing that has ever happened to me and I’ve done nothing but day dream that I ran out of that place and never looked back. I chose Airsculpt because I have wanted chin lipo done for the three years, and wanted something minimally invasive + a quick recovery. I met with Doctor Nalluri & Genesis, who assured me I was a great candidate and offered a fat transfer at a discounted rate. I didn’t know what a fat transfer was so I stated that I would think about it. Once in the office with Genesis, she again, brought up the fat transfer. She pointed out that I had “thin lips” and could benefit from the fat transfer to that area, she said it was like an even safer, more natural version of lip filler. I then asked her to tell me more about the procedure to which she stated that it was fairly simple. Not once was I informed that it was practically irreversible, that if I gain weight my lips would gain weight, or the risk of fat embolisms or necrosis. NEVER would I have agreed to this if I knew any of these things. I genuinely thought, because of the casual way in which it was brought up, that I would just be slightly swollen for a couple of days. I returned to the office the morning of my procedure and asked Genesis whether she believed that I needed the skin tightening addition, she told me no, that I was young, my skin would “snap back” and again recommended the lip fat transfer instead. The procedure was traumatic, I don’t understand why it is labeled as minimally invasive but perhaps it was worse for me because I refused pain pills & laughing gas. Either way it wasn’t at all what I was expecting. I was handed a mirror after the procedure & the look of my lips was genuinely terrifying. I had no idea I would be overfilled this way. I was so swollen & sore I wasn’t able to speak or eat normally for days. In the days after the procedure I spent a lot of time reading about fat transfers, + getting opinions from other surgeons. I read that fat transfers are primarily used for elderly people who have lost facial volume due to aging and are not typically done on younger people. Nor do most surgeons recommend fat transfer to the lips. Most will not even offer this procedure, if they do they are incredibly careful not to overfill because of the permanency, they would rather do it over multiple sessions. Doctor Nalluri overfilled me without my consent and on top of that, spent about ten minutes on the procedure without assessing my lips and their shape prior so he injected the fat way too high and now I have bulges when I smile. Two weeks after the procedure I noticed my smile becoming deformed, a fat necrosis bump + excess fat above my top right lip. I scheduled two follow ups with Dr. Nalluri in which he repeatedly told me that this was “swelling”. Neither of these issues are swelling. He refused to look at the bump on my lip and recommended I see a therapist. He continued to tell me that all of the issues I saw were “in my head” and that I had body dysmorphia. I also noticed my chin having no decrease in volume but instead just developed saggy skin, turns out I needed the skin tightening treatment. I also have scars from the tubes they placed in FIVE different parts of my face. I am a very normal, social person with a college degree + two jobs. I have had multiple tattoos, piercings, & even previous cosmetic surgery. Not once have I gone back to my artists or surgeons begging for them to resolve an issue. This is my smile, my laugh, my face, and it is a mistake I am going to have to pay for the rest of my life. My hope in writing this is that surgeons will see these procedures as more than a quick upsell and actually take the time to think about the lives they are altering. I have had some serious depression symptoms due to the results and the way I have been gaslighted by the staff at Airsculpt. I have had to get back into therapy for the first time in almost three years. They have made it obvious that they have no intention on helping me & that I will have to look elsewhere for a resolution. I am more insecure now than ever. I always thought I had pretty facial features and now that has been taken away from me at the age of 26. I should’ve had many more years with my own smile. I truly don’t know how to move forward from this.
I had 360 lipo with fat transfer at La Jolla Airsculpt by Dr. Raja Nalluri. It is now 6 days post op and the right side of my waist/lower back looks deformed because he transferred the fat on the wrong part of my body that I agreed for him to do. I asked him to fill in the hip/glute area and he filled in my waist instead which makes it look like I have a massive tumor below my wait. It is because the surgeon didn't take the necessary steps or time for my fat transfer. I was told the procedure was supposed to be 2-3 hours and that it will most likely be on the longer side because I'm very skinny so he needs to be more precise. On the day of the surgery, it was awake lipo and it was uncomfortable and painful for me the entire time. At one point i was curling up because it was hurting and he just kept lipoing without saying anything. The total procedure time was only 1 hour, he didn't use an ultrasound to guide the fat transfer to ensure the fat wasn't going underneath my muscle (i overheard the nurses talking to each other about setting up the ultrasound but that the surgeon was not going to use it when i feel like he should have), and the total time for him to transfer the fat to both sides of my glutes/hips took only 2 minutes. His lack of care and patience made the right side of my body unflattering and I have not been mentally well since the day of the surgery. He transferred the fat to the top of my waist instead of the side of glutes like he was supposed to. I have been crying for days for how horrible it looks. I will be posting pictures where you can still see the markings of where he was suppose to transfer the fat and where it was actually transferred. I had my 1 week follow up today and the woman on the phone was tying to insinuate that the large mass was fluid from swelling or that the fat "migrated". NO IT DID NOT MIGRATE AND IT IS NOT SWELLING. how could the fat "migrate upward" when im standing all day or laying flat on my belly. I stopped draining after my second day and no changes in the size of that area. Do not try to blame my body for the doctor's mistake.I was also told during my consultation that the doctor would be able to use my previous incision sites from my prior surgery. I had 14 previous incision sites that he could of used and he didn’t use any of them. He made 8 new incision sites. Now i have a total of 22 incisions/entry points all within an inch from each other and they are in less discrete areas. If i would have known that there he was going to give me completely new ones, i would have NEVER scheduled the surgery to begin with. Also this “no scalpel”, “no stiches”, “freckle size” is [RS bleep]. They are literally hole-punching your skin off and its not a freckle size. Its large. With 14 previous incision sites with stitches from a previous surgery, trust me when I say, the scalpel and stitches is a million times better than getting your skin hole-punched at Airsculpt. Now my body looks like a connect-the-dots puzzle with 22 entry points. DO NOT GO TO AIRSCULPT. You are better off going to Tijuana for half the price and get the results you want with a surgeon that actually takes his time and necessary steps to ensure they are doing things correctly. I know now that more money does not mean better service or quality.
I had my flanks, bra back fat, and inner thighs done by Dr Nalluri at Airsculpt in La Jolla. Also my “armpit fat” but it looks like nothing was ever removed from there. It was about $15k and during the procedure the doctor only took 500cc of fat out which is about 1 pound… $15k for 1 pound is insane. I would have rather had liposuction than gone to Airsculpt (aka Airsculpt). Not only that but the inner thigh procedure left horrible dimpling. I’m a runner and wanted some fat taken due to rubbing while running, the doctor said no problem, this would solve it. It did not solve it at all and now I have these weird divets and can’t wear shorts because it’s so noticeable. So not worth it. The follow up the doctor went so far as to say- don’t eat too much in the holidays. Like seriously? You took a pound of fat and have the audacity to tell me not to eat poorly? I run and lift weights, my diet is all about moderation. It was so insulting. Talk about horrible bedside manner. Updated on 9 Nov 2024: Here are some pictures of my inner thighs. The area where the biopsy punch was created a large and obvious indent. While I wasn’t thrilled with my thighs before, I never had an issue walking around in shorts. Now it makes me so uncomfortable and I question why I even bothered getting AirSculpt
It is unfortunate but a certain number of breast augmentation surgeries do not work out. Complications can happen in plastic surgery but in a majority of the cases, the surgery does work out, albeit requiring a second operation or more operations in certain cases. In your case, a thorough history and understanding of what happened leading to your implants needing to be removed, a detailed exam and taking into consideration all of the factors such as your anatomy, nutritional state, size of implants (larger ones can have a higher rate of complications) among other facts all need to be weighed and discussed with you. There isn't a way to predict with certainty or provide any guarantee that the second surgery would work out, and it's really a personal decision whether to try again but only after you've been examined and your past surgery and what happened all reviewed carefully.
