I am extremely pleased with the results of my upper and lower blepharoplasty. I feel like I've taken 10 years off of my appearance and finally feel like I look like myself again. Dr Phelps and his team were friendly and professional and quick to respond to my questions. I would absolutely recommend Dr Phelps.
I can't tell you how excited and happy I am that I went to Dr. Phelps! The experience was great from start to finish - from his staff, nurses, and himself. Patient, professional, answered all my questions along the way. I was so nervous, and they made me feel comfortable and relaxed the day of the procedure. Now after 6 weeks, my eyes look amazing!
Dr.Phelps was and has been extremely informative and attentive. His bed side manner is top tier above and beyond. I would and will recommend him to anyone. He has helped me tremendously by addressing any concerns I may have. His professionalism and skills have boosted my self confidence. Thank you Dr. Phelps
Dr. Phelps and his staff are personable, take time to explain procedure and post-op. They are accessable during and after the whole process. Highly recommended. I had previously had eye-lid surgery 10 years ago. Dr. Phelps explained what could be improved and I was much happier with the results.
I am incredibly thankful for Dr Phelps and the staff! I felt very comfortable from the first meeting! We had a good conversation on the procedure and expectations! I went in for a lower blepharoplasty procedure with co2 laser treatment! I couldn’t have been any happier with the results ! The Team is always on top of every concern Maria ,Jazmin, Sergio were there from Day one ! Trust the process and have patience!! For anyone that is considering this procedure please remember that time is your ally! Thank you again Dr Phelps I’m a very Grateful!
First and foremost, I could not be happier with my results. Hands down… One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was working with this team. Dr. Phelps is truly talented at what he does. A true artist! I am still healing, but, I am already over joyed with what I am seeing. I’m looking more and more like myself every day after years of trying everything to correct damaged under eye skin. Dr. Phelps erased years off my face, I don’t even have an expression wrinkle when I smile now. For years I avoided this procedure at all costs because I was nervous about it. The morning of the surgery, my anxiety got the best of me and well… let’s just say I had a mini panic attack…. Not my finest moment. Dr. Phelps and the whole staff stepped up and were the exact support and reassurance I needed to follow through with something I wanted so bad. They calmed my nerves and put me at ease. I cannot be more grateful for the compassion I felt. The procedure was a walk in the park. It was so quick (1 hour), easy and painless! I was out and at home and felt normal that same afternoon. I’d do it all over again if I had too! Since then, my recovery has been just as easygoing. Dr Phelps and the office have guided me through the whole thing, being extremely thorough. My calls, emails and questions have been responded to quickly and with detail. I truly cannot thank Dr. Phelps and this whole office for the magic they worked.
Dr. Phelps is a master at his craft. I'm a new patient of his and my experience with him was genuine and professional. The staff was very friendly and the entire experience was stress free. I'd highly recommend if you’re interested in getting a blepharoplasty done as I did. I feel like a brand new woman inside and out and he was worth every dollar. if you want someone experienced and at that MASTER level.
Its hard to say without a physical exam. Its possible the lacrimal gland wasn't fully repositioned or that the dislocation has reoccured. Your doctor may want to get imaging like a CT scan, or even potentially revise the surgery. I'd make sure you consult with an oculofacial plastic surgeon before considering a surgery like this in the future.
It is possible to do procedures to correct the issue you are noticing. One option is a lateral tarsorrhaphy. Another option is a canthoplasty. I would recommend that you consult with an oculofacial plastic surgeon to advise you on the specific procedures that could help with the concerns you have.
Blepharoplasty surgery can change the volume and sagging issues that tend to occur as we age. However, many times patients also complain of wrinkles or dark circles. These issues can be addressed with lasers or chemical peels. The combination of both laser and blepharoplasty typically leads to very high patient satisfaction in my practice.
It is important to have a trusted ride home after surgery. This is a time when you could be vulnerable and most doctors are not going to let you go home in a ride share.
When the area of concern under your eyes goes down to the cheek there is often a fluid component to the problem. You may want to consider non-invasive treatments like radiofrequency microneedling. Surgery with a blepharoplasty may be able to help, but often in a scenario like this the surgery causes inflammation which may make the under eye area look worse before it looks better.
