I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Evcimik in mid-June, and I can honestly say that my experience was extremely smooth from beginning to end.
First of all, a special thank you to Assistant Seray, who accompanied me throughout this entire journey. She is incredibly caring and kind. She was there for me at all times before, during, and after the operation. She speaks perfect English and made communication easy with everyone at the clinic and the hospital.
The hospital and clinic are both very clean and luxurious. Everyone welcomed us warmly when we arrived. Even though it was 6 a.m. at the hospital, the staff were fully prepared and aware that I was coming for surgery.
During both my online consultation and my in-person appointment with Dr. Evcimik, I felt very comfortable. It was immediately clear that he is a highly experienced professional who truly knows what he is doing. He is kind-hearted, genuine, and exceptionally skilled at his work. Beyond his professionalism, he is simply a good human being, and that humanity is easy to feel when speaking with him.
On the day of the operation, I was very well taken care of. The anesthesiologist inserted the IV smoothly, and the anesthesia itself went perfectly. When I woke up, I felt a little cold, but I had no pain apart from a slight sore throat. I experienced no unpleasant side effects from the anesthesia. As soon as I returned to my room, I drank plenty of water, and I quickly felt completely normal again. Within minutes, I was able to walk, talk, and smile.
Today, nine days later, I have had zero bruising and virtually no swelling or pain. I did not need any painkillers at the hospital because I simply wasn’t in pain. I only took the antibiotics prescribed by the doctor, which are routinely given after surgery to prevent infection.
When my cast was removed, I was naturally surprised by my new nose, but I was incredibly impressed by the result. The doctor created a nose that is beautifully defined, small and not too upturned. Since my swelling is minimal, I feel that I am already quite close to the final result, although I am still waiting to remove the tapes that Dr. Evcimik applied during our last appointment. They need to stay on for one week, so I am looking forward to Saturday.
I did experience a small amount of swelling during the first week after surgery, but it was limited to the area above my upper lip (the philtrum). This temporarily affected the appearance of my smile and upper lip. However, the swelling has now disappeared, my smile has returned, and I feel like myself again.
I am extremely grateful for the care, kindness, and gentleness with which I was treated by the entire team: Dr. Evcimik, Seray, the anesthesiologist, and all the others assistants. They were all wonderful people who made me feel safe, happy, and supported throughout the process.
I believe that Dr. Evcimik is a professional, and I would confidently recommend him to anyone considering rhinoplasty. I honestly feel that I could not have chosen a better surgeon, both in terms of his technical expertise and his character.
