Solo Rhinoplasty Journey in Istanbul

What an incredible experience!
I had wanted a different nose for as long as I can remember, but for years the stars just never aligned (fear of anesthesia, not knowing which surgeon to trust, timing, availability, etc.), it always felt overwhelming. But somehow, one day, they did.I have a friend who did a septorhinoplasty back in 2024 with Dr. Evcimik and highly recommended him to me. 2 years later, I finally decided it was time.
I first had a video consultation with Dr. Evcimik himself to understand my goals and what was realistically achievable. He told me a sentence that stuck with me throughout the whole process : “My goal is to create such a natural result that people can’t even tell you had surgery.” And he really kept his promise.
I had a few text messages with Seray, Dr.’s assistant to plan everything. As an international traveler, I chose one of the packages that include hotel + transportation. And honestly, I’m so glad I did. You get to pick one hotel from a list and you get transportation included and planned every time you need to get / back from an appointment. It was such peace of mind. Travelling internationally alone for surgery can be a LOT but not having to worry about a thing once you’re there is priceless ! Once in Istanbul there are a couple of appointments before surgery day and I would like to highlight Seray’s work. She’s the one managing all the appointments, coming with you to all of them and making sure everything’s fine along the way. She does make everything seamless and easy for you and is a great support during the process. Her work is outstanding.
Concerning surgery, it felt like a breeze, from check-in to check-out. The facilities are great, the medical staff kind and very professional. My main concern was anesthesia, a fear for years. I really want to reassure anyone scared of anesthesia that it’s not as bad as you think. Waking up was easy, no nausea, no weird feelings and I was back on my feet 2 hours later. Absolutely NO pain until now, still truly impressed. What stood out most was the very low bruising. Spent hours on TikTok watching everyone’s experience but I had nothing. Back home a few days later.
Finally, Dr. Evcimik is simply an expert that makes you feel at ease the moment you step into his office. Making sure to understand what you want but also what could also be a great match for you and your face. The result already feels incredibly natural and harmonious. This is a life-changing surgery, picking someone is hard and I couldn’t recommend Dr. Evcimik more.
