Lines Around my Mouth Vanished!!

I had laser rejuvenation with Dr. Elmaraghy and was soooo happy! I had deep vertical lines around my mouth, and in my check area that he said would not go away with a face lift. So I had the laser done. The team was professional, friendly, and the results were amazing. It took about 10 days for my face to heal and I could wear makeup again. I am so happy with the results, and I constantly get praise for my skin. Thanks Dr. Elmaraghy!!

34 Years Old 2 Kids- Time to Be Happy with my Body Again

A little about me. I've always had extra weight around my stomach.. ever since I was a kid. I lost a bunch of weight before I got pregnant with my first baby but the pouch was always there. After having my first I lost most of the baby weight (started at 160 and went to 200 by the end of pregnancy. After having the baby I weighed 175). I ate like [RS bleep] always and ended up weighing 200 lbs by the time I got pregnant with my second. I ended up weighing 225lbs by the time I had my second baby and lost that 25lbs after his birth. I've been on a weight loss journey for a couple months now and am at 179. I'll be at least 160 by the time I have my surgery in Nov. I did most of the weight loss on my own but to lose the last 20 fast I'm going to do Dr. Seagrist. I originally planned on having my surgery done in Toronto but holy Hannah the cost blew my mind haha and then I kept thinking "do i really want to drive to and from Toronto for my check -ups?" The answer to that was NOT A CHANCE. It could take 1.5 hours - 4 hours to get there from my place. I ended up booking a consult with Dr. Elmeraghy in waterloo. My gf went to him and sent me pics of her before and afters and I was sold. Some reviews say that he's arrogant.. I have to completely disagree with those. He was funny and honest and to the point. I left there booking my surgery date for Nov 1. I'm super excited and super nervous. It'll be nice to get rid of this extra keg I'm carry around hahaha. Updated on 16 Oct 2017: I ended up changing the date of my surgery to Nov 8. Just a week. I have tickets to see Grease the musical in the 4th. Anyone who knows me knows how much i love Grease. I decided I'm going to stay at my mom's for 5 days after surgery. Her house is right down the street from the clinic and I have 2 kiddos at home that will jump all over me. I'm not putting too much thought into the surgery yet.. reading everyone's reviews like a crazy woman. It helps. My only worry is the downtime with the kids. My 3 year old is super attached to me (still sleeps in bed with me). Everything he wants or needs he wants me to take care of it. It's gotten worse since I was pregnant with my now 8 month old. I know I can't pick the kids up... but for how long?? The baby isn't crawling or walking so that's a huge concern. My little sister (she's 23) is going to hopefully come stay with me for 2 weeks.. but will I need longer?? Anybody with littles that can offer advice??? I'm still on the road to be down the 20lbs before surgery which is nice. Hard That's believe in a few short weeks it's surgery time. I feel like the nerves will kick in the night before Updated on 6 Nov 2017: It's hard to believe that my surgery is on Wed. I feel like I should be nervous or anxious but so far I'm not. Or maybe I am and I just don't realize it. Who knows. The only thing I'm worried about with right now is not being able to hold my 8 month old. That's going to be a huge adjustment. My 3 year old is a mama's boy to the core so he's going to have a hard time with me not being able to play with him. I'm excited to finally get it done and hopefully the pain is manageable. I have to get my pain meds tomorrow so I don't have to mess around with getting them after. I took a Motrin last tues cause I had a migraine for 3 days and I told my surgeon.. he wasn't happy so I don't advise anybody doing that. I can't wait to see the results and here's to hoping all goes as planned with my awesome surgeon. We're going away in Jan so fingers crossed the swelling isn't very bad. Updated on 9 Nov 2017: Holly Hannah!!!! I had surgery yesterday and I was still calm and relaxed all morning. I had my surgery at 8am. I didn't leave the hospital until 4 because I was so tired and couldn't walk. I threw up pretty much all night because of the anesthetic. They told me that would happen. Apparently if I was a smoker I wouldn't have been so sick. All ate was 4 crackers. Today I've had a couple bites of toast. The pain is crazy.. omg. In some reviews people seem to good right after surgery. I have 2 drains in but they come out fri. I'm excited for that. I'm exhausted and sleepy the pain meds help. 2 percs every 6 hours. I don't know what my belly looks like so I can't wait for him to show me on fri. Updated on 10 Nov 2017: Just had my drains out... It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just felt funny. I did take a perk 2 hours before I don't know if that helped or not. I finally got to see my tummy and I couldn't be happier. Omg. So flat and obviously swollen. I doubted my life the day of surgery but I am so happy I did this. The pain is way better now. I'm moving a lot more. I took so after photos and I love them. I hope this helps anyone with similar body to mine. Updated on 14 Nov 2017: I've only been taking 1 painkiller every 6 hours.. sometimes it's like 12 hours in between. I go see my PS on thurs and I think it will switch me to t3s then. The past 2 nights I slept in bed. My 3 year old still co-sleeps so that's been fun. He's usually pretty good with keeping to his side but he's 3 and ya... sometimes I get a little kick. They don't usually hurt because my stomach is soooooo numb. It feels weird to even touch or scratch. I have pillows propped under my legs to keep them up. I was sleeping on a recliner at my mom's the first few days and that was a little easier getting in and out of. I have seen a lot of people buy a lot of supplies for after.. I honestly haven't needed anything. It's been easy getting on and off the toilet. It's been easy walking around (still a little hunched but will get better). My compression garment came from my PS and I wear that 24/7. I showered once so far and can shower more. It was quick. Milk of magnesia is a LIFE SAVER. That's pretty much all I bought. Oh.. And I ended up getting my period 3 days post op. It's been a pain in the butt but not as bad as I thought it would. Yesterday I did A LOT... like walking.. cleaning and all that 'fun' stuff. I think we need to take it easy after this surgery I just can't sit around and wait for my boyfriend to help me do anything. Today I had to take my 3 yr old to daycare cause nobody else could. 20 min drive each way. I didn't take any pain meds today or through the night so I felt fine to drive. The hardest thing for me through out this whole experience is not being able to pick up my 8 month old. That's tough. And my 3 yr old. U need to make sure if u have babies to make sure u have the most support. My sister is here and she helps tons but my bf doesn't at all and that's frustrating. I had to keep the kids at my mom's 2 days post op. Because my bf was on call for his work. He couldn't change that cause he had someone cover his last one so he could go out of town for the night with his friends. So SUPPORT is key!!!!! And even 6 days post... I would do it over again in a heart beat. I'll post pics this week after I see the surgeon on thurs Updated on 14 Nov 2017: I'm really liking my belly button right now. I find my one side is more defined than the other but once swelling is gone I'm sure that'll change. I am still so in love with my results Updated on 16 Nov 2017: So my pelvic area was super swollen which I thought was normal person cause I just had surgery.... well I was wrong. I had an appt with my surgeon today at 4 and he drained it for me. He said I'll have I'll come in once a week because it will fill again and again until it eventually stops. He removed sooooooo much fluid. It was crazy. And it's 100% My fault because I've been doing too much. I feel really good so I don't take it easy at all. He said I need to or it won't go away. I've been cleaning.. and doing dishes.. and a lot of walking.. and just normal day to day stuff. My sister is here to help so I need to start letting her. Mom's don't get down time. I tried that by staying at my mom's for a few days and I still have the kiddos come there because my bf is zero help. Back and see the surgeon on Wed Updated on 20 Nov 2017: I haven't been able to get in these jeans since 2014. I'm still super swollen and my seroma isn't helping the pelvic bulge hahaha but damn it feels good getting in them again. Not even 2 weeks post op and STILL so happy. Updated on 23 Nov 2017: I ended up removing whatever tape had stayed on yesterday. I also went and got my seroma drained. I'll have to go again next week to do it again. My PS said it's a minimum of 3 times and then the body will take care of it. He gave me scar cream I can start to use too. Feels so weird putting it on because my belly is so numb. I notice more and more the swelling is getting better. I'm actually looking forward to going dress shopping next week for my work Xmas party... even being swollen im.so frigging happy. I was told at my appt that it's ok to hold my 22lb 9 month old... so that's nice. I'm just not allowed to do Cardio... which is fine by me right now lol Updated on 26 Nov 2017: The fluid fills up pretty quick. I can't wait to see my surgeon again on Thurs. Hopefully when I go in the amount of liquid is less. Last week he removed 5 full tubes and just a little from the 6th. As long as it's gone by the time I go to Mexico in Jan I'll be happy. Updated on 1 Dec 2017: I noticed where the .muscle repair has been done I'm bulging in that area. Like A LOT. I asked my PS if it's because I'm swollen but he said it could be a little. So that leads me to believe that I'm always going to have it. I've never seen anyone else on this site with the same thing. It's so big and noticeable. I love my results from my TT but now this is making me feel like [RS bleep]. I'm hoping it's just swollen and foes away. Has anybody else had This???? I'm not worried about the back fat cause I'm still losing weight and I eventually want to have a BBL... so I'll need that lol Updated on 7 Dec 2017: I saw my PS today and there is no more fluid. Yay. I so notice now since the pouch is gone that the pubic area is fatty... awesome hahaha but that can be fixed if I'm not happy still once all the swelling is gone. I was told 2 more weeks with the binder them get rid of it. It feels weird when I have it off for a couple mins but I'm Looking forward to not having the extra padding in my clothes. I have my work Xmas party on sat and I bought some new dresses and I can't wait to wear them. Nobody at work has seen me in maybe 4 or 5 months so it'll be nice showing off my new body lol the dresses I bought I would never ever in a million years have worn before surgery so it feels pretty damn good. I went bathing suit shopping too and I'm actually happy when I go. Looking at 2 pieces is weird for me. Updated on 18 Mar 2018: So it's been a while since I posted an update and pictures. I am still so unbelievably happy I did this and I wouldn't change a thing. I'm still so amazed by my results it's crazy. It's been 4 months and they keep getting better and better. I do need to start eating better so I can lose more weight. Hoping to lose another 30 or so. I've been going to the gym on my lunch. Weekends are a killer... That's when u do most of my [RS bleep] eating. We went to Mexico in Jan and it was the first time in my life I was happy in a bathing suit. I think if there's anyone thinking of doing this. . They should;;;

Fantastic Breast Augmentation. Waterloo, ON

I went to Dr. Elmaraghy for a breast augmentation. I've had 3 kids and lost 70lbs afterwards and needed to fill out what I lost. I didn't know what size I wanted to be, I just told him that I wanted to fill out the skin that I had. I didn't want to go too big. He asked what I thought I would be comfortable with and I said 250cc. He said I should probably go larger than that as I did have quite a bit of skin to fill out. He took measurements and recommended between 330cc and 370cc. I was somewhat reluctant as those two sizes looked huge to me. I figured he must know what he's talking about so I trusted what he was saying and agreed to the 370cc. I could not be happier with the results! What I thought I wanted in the 250cc would have been way too small. Dr. Elmaraghy knows what he's talking about. He takes the time to make sure you understand his recommendations and that you are comfortable with them. There was no bruising afterwards and little pain. After two weeks I feel completely back to normal. I recommend him highly!!

Highly Skilled Plastic Surgeon-Dr. Elmaraghy is the BEST!!! - Waterloo, OH

DR. ELMARAGHY, owner of Spa Surgica is the BEST. He is very professional, friendly, and a highly skilled experienced plastic surgeon. He is extremely knowledgeable, meticulous and he is a perfectionist in his field. Dr. Elmaraghy has a well known reputation as the “MIRACLE Dr.” at Grand River Hospital. I noticed a past review that stated that Dr. Elmaraghy was “rude arrogant and careless about his patients.” Seriously, I have known Dr.Elmaraghy since 2002 and he is beyond any of those comments. Dr. Elmaraghy truly cares about his patients and after reading my review you will see that those comments made by someone else are erroneous. I suspect that the person who inappropriately made those comments must have made a mistake and was referring to someone else. I have heard people doing that before so just ignore those comments. The staff at Spa Surgica are incredible!! I LOVE Sarah, Consultant/Medical Aesthetician/Manager. I see her a lot mostly because she works alongside Dr. Elmaraghy during some of my procedures and plus she does some of the procedures herself. Sarah was the one who did my last profraxional laser treatment and the results were awesome. Sarah's expertise, knowledge and most of all her warm welcoming heart will put you to ease right away. She always makes me laugh. The staff are known for their expert highly professional work and always make me feel welcomed!! Thank you to Amanda and Mallory-receptionists who always answer the phone in a very professional welcoming manner and Kailee, Jen and Tanya, Aestheticians, highly skilled in their profession, My hubby and a friend of mine had a massage by Tanya and both of them commented how good the treatment was. I have heard many other commendable comments from my friends about the “amazing facial treatments”, manicures and pedicures at Spa Surgica. When Dr. Elmaraghy is done performing his magic on you, the results are more than pleasing. I have had many comments that I do not look my age and that is all due to Dr. Elmaraghy's incredible highly skilled work. I work in the medical field myself so I am more than aware of the calliper of Doctors and Dr. Elmaraghy is truly the best!!! Believe me I know. I have had profraxional facial laser treatments, botox and restylane injections by Dr. Elmaraghy over the years and there is no one I would rather see. I have seen other cosmetic surgeons in the past and they are not as meticulous as he is. Some plastic surgeons get an RN to inject patients with botox when you think it's going to be the Dr. I do not agree with this since they are not as knowledgeable and do not have the full expertise to inject in certain areas in your face as a plastic surgeon is trained to do so. Dr. Elmaraghy is the only one that administers the botox/restylane injections. Furthermore, Dr. Elmargahy is my HERO!! He saved my LIFE!!! His skilled keen eyes noticed a mole on my body that he said looked suspicious and in the end it was melanoma but very small. The cancerous mole was encapsulated and Dr. Elmaraghy removed it and I am cancer free. You cannot buy life but Dr. Elmaraghy has given me life!!! I am more than thankful to him. Remember its your face/body that you have to live with and if you want the VERY BEST plastic surgeon, then I highly recommend DR. ELMARAGHY at Spa Surgica!!! Cheryl Nevin Waterloo, Ontario

56 Yr Old Finally Has a Tummy Tuck - Waterloo, ON

I had stretch marks since the birth of my 1st child aged 16 then diastasis recti with my 2nd. My body was older looking than some of the 80 to 90 yr old patients enough was enough I had procrastinated for yrs. it was on my new yrs bucket list made the appointment in January and procedure was completed 5 days ago. First two days post op were awful no point sugar coating it....but improvement from day three post op. It's not all plain sailing you still have to take it easy. Day by day is the way I am gonna approach it. Updated on 11 Mar 2016: What a difference a week makes can't wait for the end of week 2. No need for narcotics and their rotten side effects. Coping with extra strength Tylenol and it works. Stitch line healing well but abdomen and flanks swollen and tight. Had to remove my compression garment to have it washed, so it goes back on today. Not standing entirely straight yet, conscious of protecting my abs and stitch line. Today I will shower put on a bit of slap and get dressed. Hoping this gives me a boost psychologically..... been in the bedroom long enough. I have been up and down stairs quite a bit but really wish I had a recliner chair as am sure it would have made a big difference. Anyway to anyone reading this in your early days every day is an improvement and take each day as it comes

41 Year Old Female- Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty to Fix Under-eye Bags - Waterloo, ON

I have always had bags under my eyes but after losing 100 pounds they became even more pronounced. I originally thought I could get some fillers in my tear trough but Dr. E explained that surgery would give me the most satisfactory outcome. Since I was already planning to have my gallbladder out, the staff from the two Dr's offices worked it out so I could do both at once, saving me from going under anesthesia twice. Everything went exactly as Dr. Elmaraghy explained and I was STUNNED at how easy it was. No stitches, no blood, no pain. Limited bruising and swelling. I did experience chemosis (extreme dry eye which causes swelling), which I had been warned was a potential side effect. It was uncomfortable but not unbearable. I ended up being on a steroid/antibiotic eyedrop for 14 days with a hydrating drop and nighttime ointment for about 10 days. At 17 days post op, i'm super happy with the results and I know it will only get better going forward. Updated on 3 Nov 2015: Just wanted to add some photos of the progress to now Updated on 25 Nov 2015: Although I can see great progress, the surgeon was kind of surprised at how puffy I still am. I think I really bummed him out. I told him that some days are better than others. I think that water retention and allergies might be working against me. I'm happy with the progress, but he wants to wait a couple more weeks to take my After pics.

24 Year Old Rhinoplasty and Chin Augmentation. - Kitchener, ON

Hello all! Ive been on here for a little bit now following others with their procedures and found this helps me feel at ease for my procedure. I hope to help others as they have done for me :) I have posted a few post op pics, I plan on getting a nose job + chin implant (same time) as you can see I have a bulbous tip and a dorsol hump I wish to have removed. My doctor plans on smoothing and thinning the bridge, and making the tip smaller, more defined. Then he wishes to do the chin implant to balance my nose. Im less than two weeks away, im super nervous yet excited at this point. I will check back soon with an update. Updated on 10 Jul 2015: The week leading up to today was terrible. My nerves a mess, I slept maybe 3 hours a night and I got so stressed I puked twice. The day has come and I couldn't be happier! The staff we're amazing, my doctor fantastic! They were super friendly, making jokes to lighten the mood and it helped. From what ive seen so far I love love love it!! Great experience, great results. I can't wait to get the cast off to see my nose. I woke up feeling a little bit of pain and it took me a while to open my eyes. My eyes were watering non stop and once I actually woke up the pain worsened. They gave me some perks and once that kicked in I felt a ton better again. :) Updated on 11 Jul 2015: I woke up today with a little more pain than yesterday but the Tylenol helped pretty quickly. I was expecting to feel nauseous because of the meds they have me on but so far I feel great. The pain isn't nearly what I was expecting, I was expecting it to be a lot worse. My chin hurts but my nose feels fine. The swelling doesn't seem too bad at all. My chin is swollen and my right cheek has a bit of swelling but the swelling between my eyebrows is gone surprisingly enough and almost no bruising around my eyes. I feel my healing process is going very well and can't wait to see the end result. Updated on 15 Jul 2015: So today marks day 5 for me. It's been tough.. sleeping, eating, breathing. Today I got my cast off and my stitches out. They said im healing really well but my head is killing me ever since I got the cast removed. The slightest pressure on my nose affects my headache so im trying hard not to touch it. Here are some updated photos. Updated on 20 Jul 2015: So 10 days has passed and every day I am happier and happier with my results. I can still feel swelling in my chin and the tip of my nose. Both are numb to the touch still. I can't believe how much swelling has gone down already. I can finally breath comfortably through my nose although it does swell very easily. Warm weather, being around cigarettes and on ocassion eating will start to swell up to the point I gotta take a breather between bites. Anyway, here are some updated photos.

I suffered needlessly with a poor cosmetic result

Developed complications after surgery with very poor cosmetic result. He was not willing to address issues and I later discovered that the surgery was poorly executed . Found a surgeon who was willing to correct the issues. Suffered needlessly for over 18 months, paid for a reconstructive surgery which was quite costly. Finally feeling better and finally have the cosmetic result I had hoped for.
