I had a BA with Dr. P a month ago. My boobs look gorgeous. I’ve gotten tons of compliments! He is priced right, has tons of experience, great staff, he just doesn’t do all the marketing that the other guys in town do. I was nervous because there wasn’t a whole lot of information on him, but I saw his results firsthand and went for it. I’m SO glad I did. Give him a shot- you won’t regret it!!
I am 24 years old. 5"4 and 135lbs. Incision thru the armpit. 5 days post op feeling great, looking amazing. Only gripe, hard time sleeping. Implants still sitting high. Have to use a breast band to help them drop. Not allowed to use a bra. Can't wash my own hair yet. I can be out and mobile but I get tired easily.
I really wanted to have a nice boobs since i was teenager(bad genes) , when I started to make money I started to have kids so BA/BL has postponed since having kids is expensive. I have personal issues that make me wanted to do it finally , my marriage for 17yrs is not doing well maybe because of this ... Anyways I did it, but just to let you guys know from my first day until now my bff is Vicodin and Valium . Lol I can't wait until I can flaunt again haha yes I am more confident now ! I'll keep posting pics if there's an update. PS I'm Asian and scarring is difficult to trace care , let's find out later... Updated on 12 Jul 2016: I don't have a lot of updates as of now , I don't see any drop and my PS doesn't want me to wear support bra or any band cause as he explained it to me that wearing support bra doesn't help it to drop at all and of course I believe him. As of know I am enjoying the perky ness and the swelling haha I look so big and I love it. I should've fill'em 600 cc instead my bad. Any ways the bruises bothers me thou but according to him I don't have to fret about it. Still my bff are my pain meds with Benadryl I'm itchy . I gained 6 lbs from water retention on day one , so Fay I'm back to 124. I will se my PS tomorrow 7/13 /16 hoping for a good news. Mahalo for reading =) Updated on 15 Jul 2016: So I had a check up with my PS today, they took out the sutures and as I was talking to him I mentioned that I am very happy that my boobies are perky and big and I like it that way. I know that it's supposed to drop on its own pocket but I told him that I am worried that if it dropped what if it will sag faster . He looked at me and he said since the left breast is higher than the right , I'll just gonna put band on the left and if it level up with the right breast then I can start using bra without wires. The pocket will just gonna heal by it self.... Will post pics later =) Updated on 26 Jul 2016: Aloha I'm back ! I was so busy lately plus I'm stressing out from my wounds , I'm not happy wit my left areola but my PS said that he will do revision on it . I was told by him 2 weeks after the implants that I can wear bra since I like the perkiness but I'm scared I still have wounds after they taken out the stitches that's why. I think I am good at where they at now lefty dropped and righty was doing great .I wear wireless bra or sports bra at day time and none at night time . I'm still lil bit swollen and I'm using silicone sheets on the right and left side is bandage and small silicone on it. Not too much pics to show cause I'm shy :( Updated on 2 Aug 2016: So far I'm doing ok but I'm still patiently waiting till my left boobs drop and even out with righty. I can't lie on my side yet cause I feel pressure on both of them besides the fact that I'm scared I might pop them up lol! Anyways o have some photos but it's not nice yet...:( Updated on 2 Aug 2016: Adding some more pics :(
So. I'm 22 years old, brown-skinned, oily skin type, and never really battled with acne. I just get a few here or there, or around "that time of the month. But sometimes when I'd break out, it would leave behind PIH (post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation). I wanted to get rid of these dark marks. I started getting chemical peels around March of 2013. Started with 'Vitalize' then 'Rejuvenize' then the 'Vi peel'. ALL of which are great peels, but didn't go deep enough to remove my PIH. So I decided to go for a TCA peel. December 20th, 2013 - I went to the Doctors office where I was asked routine questions. He has worked on African American skin before so this kinda eased my mind. I did not go through skin preconditioning either. Next I washed my face and he applied the chemical in soft sweeps to my face. I believe he did second sweep as well as more solution applied to my troubled areas. I was trying to overcome the stinging so blocked everything out lol it does sting but it's not unbearable, they gave me a fan to help. So my face felt tight after, then over the course of a few minutes turned BLACK. Like BLACK. Lol I was instructed that I shouldn't wash my face until before bed or when I woke up and not to moisturize (every esthetician has told me to moisturize, but the two doctors I've seen have told me not to because that skin is dead. You only need to protect the new skin underneath.) that made sense to me so I didn't moisturize. He also told me that I could splash my face with water anytime I liked, and to wash no more than 3x a day. December 21st - my skin was still black as heck! Haha only now crusting and kinda oozing? It was gross man, thank Goodness I was in holiday break because I looked horrible. December 22nd - when I would wash my face, black sort of residue would come off? Idk what it was. At first I thought I didn't wash the chemical all the way off, but then when the crusties came off, my skin looked as is If had just had a peel. Skin cracked around the mouth. December 24th - skin didn't start peeling until laaaate that night. Very minimal peeling. December 25th and 26th - skin peeled, pretty much in sheets. Would roll off when face was washed, and in shower. I've now started to use my moisturizer (I used a cetaphil), but NONE of my other products. Skin was peeled by the 26th. My skin was kinda leathery or dry and crepey like it was going to peel again. And it did. Nothing like before though. This time peeling was kinda like a very superficial peel, like the vitalize peel. My skin was verrrrrry pink (totally normal but still freaked me out lol) and I had a few pimples (also normal). I started using my regular products (just an acne gel on my few pimples) on the 26th. December 29th - skin is ALOT smoother and healthier. Hydrated and shiny, but not oily. YAY! Skin isn't reddish or bright pink anymore, but like a light brown. I've also started using a mineral make up to cover the light spots. You can't even tell the skin is light. I've started using the obagi skin bleaching cream to avoid further hyper pigmentation and a using a sun screen religiously. I have a follow up tomorrow with the doctor. I can't wait. So glad my skin is doing better and almost healed in time for New Years :) All of my acne is gone, those little random pimples have dried up. I apply a little PCA acne gel and it dries those suckers up in no lie, three days or so. A little flaking of the skin occurs so you shouldn't use it while your skin is peeling from a chemical peel. I'll update in a couple days.
I love the nurses, very calm and patient. As I described how I wanted my eyes to Dr. Michael Pasquale, he was honest and polite about going for a more natural beauty. He drew the lines and gave me a mirror to see if I approved, and I loved it. It's only been about 7 days and it looks absolutely gorgeous! They say it was gunna take 2 weeks to start looking natural, but the swelling has totally vanished and the scars are hardly visible. He is the best :-)
I waited patiently for my breasts to grow as a teenager, and was pretty bummed out when I realized at around 19-20 years old that was about as big as they'd get. And from as early as I can remember having breasts, I had this vague feeling of dissatisfaction with my breast size for most of my adult life. It became part of who I was. When I got pregnant and they got larger, I loved having fuller breasts and bra shopping, etc. after I finished breastfeeding and they went back to their original size, minus the perkiness, I thought about BA a lot, but never seriously considered actually doing it. So last week I met with a plastic surgeon for a consultation and before I even left the office, I knew I was gonna do it. They had an opening the next day. I got the silicone "gummy bear" type implants from Mentor, 405 cc, axillary approach. It's one week post-op and so far I've had no complications, just some pain, which I'd expect is normal. I'm still getting used to the fact that I now have larger breasts, visible cleavage, and the occasional thought, did I do the right thing by being so spontaneous to go back the next day. But since this was a lifelong wish of mine to have bigger boobs, it wasn't THAT spontaneous. Anyway, I'm glad I did it and I have no regrets. Updated on 30 Sep 2013: I'm starting to get used to having boobs. And it's a great feeling. The twinges of pain, numbness, and tightness continue, but I realize this is normal, thanks to this website and the MDs answering the questions. I'm so grateful to have this website for a guide and value other Realself members' input, comments and photos...thank you!

I'm not satisfied but I'm Thankful I survived the Painful Blacket Market Silicone Injections it was Very Akward getting such a back alley Surgery. But I was willing for the Outfits . Lol . Sad to say my silicone Queen got arrested in New York City . ..life is soo short love yourself for your insides not the outside I obviously have body dismorhpic disorder .
Two surgeries in one year and my body does not look even look close to what I paid for. Younger perky breast with some curve to my body and apple shape butt. All I got was railroad tracks from the staples the he use to close his incisions . High tummy from the tummy tuck. And no butt because he only injected 250cc of fat in each cheek. I also have dog ears and one side is liposuction more than the other. My breast are sagging with a bubble inside of the right breast. My entire body is destroyed.
I was so excited to finally not be self conscious about wearing sleeveless shirts anymore but I spent $7,000 to look the exact same. My procedure was pushed back because he was unable to get the last patient in the day before. It was clear they were now overbooked and rushed through my surgery. It was supposed to take up to 4 hours because I was doing 4 areas. Abdominal, flank, back, and both upper arms. Sad to say my surgery only lasted 1 hour and when I woke up I couldn't believe how little time had passed. I immediately knew that I didn't feel thinner and the nurses told me I didn't even fill one jar. (Not what you want to hear $7,000 later. I was unhappy to say the least and upset with myself for not being pickier with choosing a doctor. He offered to do a revision on both areas as he clearly knew and agreed there wasn't much done. Long story short my arms are still BIG after two surgerys and then he refused to revise my abdomen unless I payed an additional 1,800 because he did my arms for free! How can you not be concerned about fixing your clear mistake or even give me what I paid for? Total let down. Doctor also asked me multiple times not to go to the Internet. Well I am posting my story so women can be aware of what can happen if you aren't careful who you pick to be in charge of your body.
I decided to have a tummy tuck after having three children. Now I'm regretting that decision. I had a tuck, lipo of my inner thighs and a fat transfer. At first things were fine but eight days post-op i had massive swelling in my legs and ended up in the hospital for a PE. The fat transfer was unsuccessful. So all I had to be glad about was the tuck until fluid began to build-up. I am now 4 months post-op and have been getting drained weekly for the past two-three months. the fluid build up is right above my belly button and makes it look as if I have two stomaches.I have fluid build-up above my belly button after having a tummy tuck 4 months ago. Will the fluid ever go away or will I have to be drained for the rest of my life? Will the compression garments work? How long will it take for this fluid to go away? Also, I'm still very swollen, how long does it take for the swelling to go down? Updated on 20 May 2009:
Taking glutathione by pill probably does not lighten the skin. There are several papers out which do show that there are some whitening effects of IV glutathione and it does whiten skin. In our clinic we have been using glutathione for about 5 years. Most patients do feel their skin does become more light up to about 3 shades. One thing we can say is it safe to use and is a great anti oxidant. However its by no means a proven and accepted treatment at this point. Yet at our clinic we do try safe alternate treatments as long as they literature reflects a reasonable lack of complications. There is a very good review paper from the Indian Journal of Dermatology which we can send you a copy of. We add Vitamin C to our IVs which does not have a lightening effect itself but does appear to enhance the lightening effect of many skin lightening cremes such as hydroquinone. So our thinking is adding that to the IV treatment not only gives extra anti oxidants but also may enhance the skin lightening effects. We have written some information about this alternative treatment as well.
Glutathione has overall has a very high safety profile, naturally occurring in ones body , in fact low levels measured have been associated with some diseases. Its a powerful anti-xoidant and free radical scavenger. However studies are limited and a search of literature shows only few and rare complications with use of Intravenous (through a needle into your veins) administration. These include stomach aches , allergic reactions most likely from something in the manufacturing as opposed to the Glutathione itself , or found in the capsule form. Headaches , issues at the injection site, A recent review in the Indian Journal of Dermatology is a great review and summary of all the studies that have been published. There they mention very rare complications including speculation about kidney failure and necrosis of the skin. Again these are rare and few reports of any negative effects, so I my opinion is its safe. We have used IV Glutathione in 100's of patients in our practice and have seen various patient satisfaction rates with patient observed skin lightening. Most patients think they benefit. Yet like anything cosmetic plastic surgery it is fairly subjective and there are not good studies to give a peer reviewed answer. We add Vitamin C to our treatment which is known to not lighten the skin itself, but enhance the effect of medications which lighten skin. Until more studies are done there simply is not a definitive scientific answer. Our practice is in Hawaii and its very popular with Asians so we provide this treatment in light of the overall safety profile in a medically observable environment. That is to say we know the quality of the products we use as opposed to what one may buy online as a capsule or pill.
Dr Patel is correct, they are two different procedures. Since I practice in Hawaii we perform the masseter injection often. This is due to the large Korean population and the desire to have a less square jaw , and obtain what they consider the "beauty V" shape popular in Asia. We have performed this procedure since 1995 and typically the cost is easily 500- 800 dollars. as it requires a substantial amount of Botox in large square jaws. Nefertiti lift is an entire different anatomical area and for a different purpose. I did check your profile picture which is a very young appearing face, so I question if a Nefertiti lift is needed at all. Maybe check with her again to clarify which procedure she will perform.
