I’m so happy with my results. Everything looks so nice, my scar didn’t get thick or keloid. No infections. I had no issues with any of my incisions or stitching. He was very informative about drainage and aftercare. I had some swelling and he recommended Some RF therapy which has helped tremendously. Thank you so much to him and his team.

I was referred to Dr. Aceves from my dermatologist in Los Algodones. I contacted him via email and we arranged to meet for a consultation at his Los Algodones office. During our consultation we went over everything I wanted to do and discussed all procedures in detail. I had already done my research and I knew what I wanted and what my limitations were.

I am 54 years old and have gained a lot of weight in the past few years. I am extremely out of shape and I’m looking to get back into shape with the help of cosmetic surgery. I initially wanted to do a Mommy-Makeover even though my baby is 30 years old and I’m a grandmother. I wanted lots of liposuction, tummy tuck, breast lift with implant exchange and whatever else he could do to make me beautiful and skinny....basically, I wanted Dr. Aceves to suck out every bit of fat I had in me.

Lucky for me Dr. Aceves is very professional, knowledgeable and competent, and he brought me back down to earth by letting me know that all these procedures at once were too extreme...I knew that, but I wanted to push him to see how far I could go.

We decided to go with a breast lift with implant exchange and liposuction on my double chin, upper arms, upper/lower abs and thighs.

I scheduled my surgery with his assistant, Jacqueline. She was extremely helpful in every aspect of my experience. She arranged my hotel, picked me up and took me to my pre-op appointments, hospital and helped me every step of the way. This was very important because I was alone and wasn’t familiar at all with Mexicali and also unable to get around after my surgery.

I checked into the hospital, had all my procedures done first thing in the morning. I stayed 1 night in the hospital. The next morning Dr. Aceves checked on me and later I was released from the hospital. Jacqueline picked me up and took me back to my hotel and made certain that I was alright and had everything I needed.

The day after I was released from the hospital, I met Dr. Aceves at his office for a check up and was fitted with compression garments.

After my check up, I went home to recover and rest. It has been 1.5 weeks and I am recovering nicely. During my recovery, I had an online check up, with photos with Dr. Aceves.

So far, everything has been perfect and I’m excited to start seeing results.

I highly recommend Dr. Aceves for your cosmetic procedures. He is really talented, smart and honest. His assistant, Jacqueline is absolutely incredible, sweet, and is an invaluable asset to Dr. Aceves practice. Overall, my experience exceeded all my expectations and I will be seeing Dr. Aceves for my other procedures next year!

My motivations were typical, not interesting enough to go into at length. I was 58 & the aging pattern on my face, typical to my family, became annoying enough that it didn't reflect me to me, so it was time. I couldn't have afforded it in the States, but I had enough for the truly wonderful medical care that Mexico offers. I'm thrilled with the outcome & I'm happy every time I look in a mirror.

I have been wanting to get upper bleph to get rid of the hooded eyes and a laser treatment on my face but I read too many bad reviews and backed out 10 years ago. I can't justify spending a lot of money because looking at some of these Hollywood stars it appears their money didn't do them any good. I do love how Rene Zillwiger looks. I would consider her surgeon. I looked into having a facelift with a newer doctor in Mexico but he responded back to me saying his expertise is with the Life Style lift! I forgot about that doctor quickly. The second was between two popular ones on this board but there were too many complaints, the third choice was Dr Harley but if I'm going under the knife I would like the lift to last for 10 years. I haven't been able to determine if the SMAS lasts around 10 years. I was really tempted to go to Costa Rica and have Dr Lev perform the lift. I'm not a fan of tropical weather. I work hard during wild land fire season with equipment services for the fire fighters. I'm treating myself but I have been reading and following this board for a few years and another one prior. I have made my appointment at the plastic surgery clinic at Mt Sanai in NY. My husband and I are driving across the country the beginning of Oct for a October 24 consult and staying in upper New York until I have the procedure and the stitches are removed. I shall see what their recommdations are.

I have spoken to three others who had work done by Dr Maurice Aceves so tomorrow I’m crossing the border into Mexico tomorrow too. I became friends with a lady who works in a Plastic Surgry Center in Southern California who has heard positive feedback about Dr. Aceves so my concerns went away after talking with her a few times. He is well respected in the states and Mexico. I wanted to find a good Plastic Surgeon and a good price. I would choose him even if the price was higher. I was going going to go to Mt Sinai but crossing the states is harder for me than driving south. I’m traveling in our RV so recouping in our RV eases a lot of my worries.

Yesterday I had a lower facelift and neck lift with upper eye bleph in Mexicali by Dr Maurice Aceves. I chose him because I was able to read about him on RS and talk to some of his actual clients. Dr Aceves has a good reputation in the states. He spent a few years practicing the Life Style Lift with an American calugue but now has perfected SMAS He is very kind, honest and thorough. I crossed the border and Jacqueline one of his assistance picked me up. I had the pre op in Mexicali. A chest ex ray, EKG and lab work that I paid extra for. I had planned to go,to Mt Sinai in early April to have thiamine down at the teaching hospital but the travel and process didn’t work for me. I traveled here with my husband in our RV. The sugary took about 4 hours and the discomfort is miminmal. I have swelling but no pain. I’m taking arnica, arnica tea, ice compresses.

I had purchased Arnica Montana and it wasn’t until I started taking the Hyland brand that my swelling started to subside.

I’m very pleased and healing well. My eyes look perfect. The insisions are healing nicely. It has been four days. I can see my eyes without the hoods. My jaw line it tight and of course my ears and behind are still swollen but have gotten better each day. I went to the pool today and swam. I was careful not to get my stitches wet. I got a few stares. :)

I took off the band that is supporting my healing puffiness so I took some photos. Today I feel normal and some of the tightness around my ears is subsiding. I’m pleased with my procedure. I’m really pleased with Dr Aceves skills.

I’m feeling good and I’m happy with the results. My eyes are a little swollen and have a little ledge but I’m sure with time all will resolve. I was so nervous about having upper eye bleph because of reading others who have struggled with mid shaped eyes, too much fat removed, or dry eyes. I think my PS was causious and not overly aggressive. One of my eyes had more fat and now are even and more open.

I’m healing well and pleased with my SMAS and upper eyes. It has been one month. I have no regrets and I’m pleased with Dr Marice Aceves expert skills. Crossing the border for me was just like arriving in Frankfurt, Paris, Budapest or San Francisco. I would do it again and on the bright side Dr Aceves is young so in the future I can choose him again. I haven’t had a lot of traffic on my review so I’ll post one photo and may come back at my one year anniversary if I remember. Anybody is free to send me a private message. I have already received a couple from others who were uncertain. They followed through with their surgeries.

I’m overall pleased with my lower facelift and upper eyes. I do want to have the brow lift with two small incisions in the future. My jowls are dropping again so gravity trumps surgery unless you are pulled back like Wayne Newton. I have more confidence and I’m happy that I chose Dr Maurice Aceves.

had my upper eye lid done by dr maurice...fantastic plastic surgeon...my eyes look like great ...i am 58...4 days post op...no brusing...no pain...no side effects at all...went in at 12pm was done by 2. local to numb the area. done right in his office... i am so glad i decided to go with dr maurice. he was #1 in his class. he travels to beverly hills weekly to expand his knowledge...my next procedure is a augmentation...with dr maurice. another fantastic perk his assistant jacquline will pick you up at the border drive you to the office and return you to the border. if you have a surgery she will take you to the pharmacy and drive you to your hotel in mexicalli or calexico. she is a dream. and has sweet has can be...thanks jacqueline for helping me...

At first I was scared to death from traveling to Mexico for cosmetic surgery. Everyone would tell me not to go but I have always wanted a Mommy Makeover ever since my last child was born. I red the reviews and did my reseach. Somehow I was in touch with Carlo Bonfante who answer all my questions. I was between Mexicali and Tijuana with Dr Tagle as they are both relatively close to my home in California but after visiting the family hospital website and seeing the before & after pictures I decided to go with Dr Maurice Aceves Guiard. I was picked up from home by the hospital Driver Luis who was a wonderful gentlemen. He made me feel comfortable I was very nervous!! Carlo told me to just come down for a consultation and if I did not feel comfotable that they would take me back home. The problem was I could not afford surgery where I live the cost was $ 4,000 USD more than what was offered to me in Mexico. Anyways I finally arrived and met Carlo who assisted me with Amanda during my time in the hospital. They were all very nice but the person who I really wanted to meet was Dr Maurice . After a couple hours Dr Maurice Aceves Guirard arrived in my hospital room. We discussed everything particularly my love handles which I hate and I coul not get them off even with all the diet and excercise that I have done. He took the time to answer all my questions and was very honest about what is real and what is not possible. I decided to proceed with the surgery so I told Luis I would spend the night for my surgery the following morning. The next day I was woken up by the nurse who prepared me for surgery. If there was something that I would highly reccomend is the waiting time to get in the OR. It took a cuople hours for my surgery to begin while I was waitnig in the preparation room and I as still a little nervous. I saw Dr Maurice right before we started the surgery and he assured me everything will go as planned. Dr Maurice is an amazing doctor! I will highly reccomend him for anyone interested in going to a very clean hospital in mexico where they will take care of you! I do plan on posting pictures once the incisions are better sealed and I am not as swollen. Dr Guirard told me final recovery will take several months but so far I really like what I see. I am very happy to have chosen the Family Hospital in Mexicali and all its staff. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Menopause and and working outside may have been the reason or genetics. I woke up one day and decided I wanted to have plastic surgery to correct my Jowels, creeping sagging skin around my eyes. It was beyond Botox. I decided to look into having the work done out of the country. Number one I lived outside of the country and knew that the cost is considerably lower and the doctors are more than qualified. I get all of my dental work in Los Algondnes with excellent results and 100% satisfaction. I saw a card with Dr Maurice Aceves information on it so I contacted his office and made an appointment. I arrived in Mexicali and I was greeted by Jacqueline who drove me to my appointment where I talked to Dr Aceves. I wanted a softer look. He recommended a couple of procedures and I decided to have a lower facelift SMAS and upper blepharoplasty. I was very satisfied with my results and healing time. I knew clearly I would need to return to have lower blepharoplasty and perhaps a micro brow lift. I wanted to devide the procedures so the healing time would be less and I could be out and about. I live in the North West so traveling to Arizona is a vacation too. I’m going to be having a second surgery in two weeks. I’ll be discussing a brow lift to lift the corners of my eye and a bichtomy which is used to remove fat below your cheeks from the inside of your mouth to slim your facial features. I have spoken with some of Dr Aceves other patients who equally are satisfied with their results and highly recommend Dr Aceves. I also have an acquaintance who works in a southern CA plastic surgery center and knows of Dr Aceves who is highly respected in the plastic surgeons community.

I was picked up at the border by Jacqueline who handles the Americans and Canadians. I went in for blood work first thing. I wasn’t certain if I woukd benefit from Bichtomy so I was eager to sit down with Dr Aceves. The fat that was accumulating between my cheeks and jawline was just fat. A loss of elactisity ( age) gravity. The bichtomy would not correct my issue. It’s hard to tell by reading reviews so talking with the doctor was ideal. Dr Aceves is very straight forward and explains with great detail. He suggested Liposuction, the upper brow lift and fillers. I was given two adivans and felt like I could use a little more so I was given a Valium. I had no cares after that. The procedure was a little over an hour with no pain. A dressing around my head with pressure on my forehead was applied by Dr Aceves kind nurse. I was driven by Jacqueline to The Hotel Real. I went inside and the sedatives were still in effect so I had no embarrassment being seen with a wrapping around my head. I looked like a mummy. I took a nap and then ordered room service. The choices were endless and the food was delicious. I ordered soup and salad. Thinly sliced celery, carrots, green apples. There were so many pillows that I was able to sleep upright. The hotel staff were very accommodating and I felt pampered. The cost was $50 with a special rate for medical patients. Room service is 24 hours. The hotel pool looked inviting. Maybe next time I’ll cone back in warmer weather. I like the fact that you can go into Mexicali have your surgery spend one night and cross back into the states and the choice to go back to have your stitches removed in two weeks or return home to have your regular doctor remove them. Staying at a all inclusive care isn’t my cup of tea. Now I’m resting in my RV and going to travel up the CA coast line while I heal. Fresh air appeals rather than staying at a recovery resort and I can use the money for traveling.

I have two photos of the same corners of my eyes. A nice difference. There is bruising but it is getting better daily. I’m camped along side of a lake enjoying walking and I went for a bike ride today. I’m taking all of my vitamins and supplements and drinking smoothies with blueberries, pineapple and greens.

I had a SMAS and upper eyes almost a year ago. Two weeks ago I had lipo suction above the jawline to smooth out some bluldges/ jowls with a mini brow lift. Gosh I’m so glad I went through with this.

I’m very happy with my lower facelift, upper bleh, and brow lift. Since my visit to Dr Aceves my friend crossed the border to have a lower lift and laser resurfacing. She is a little shy of posting but may be willing to talk to someone via email.

I am going to Mexicalli, Dr. Maurice Aceves Guirard. I am nervous, excited after months of research and consults here in US. Too expensive here in US. Safety and clean hospital is important to me so I did the best I could with research and went with Hopital del Familia Mexicalli. I will follow up. L

He is awesome, my surgery was delayed due to hypertension, I was upset but I knew it was right decision. They ordered Heart US. It was normal so now I have go ahead to have it done this morning. Dr. Aceves came last night to explain what I needed, and did not opt to do everything under the sun for money . With all my research, he was right on it. I felt I made the right decision. He knows his stuff. I will upload pics later. Not ready yet.
