Six months.

I’m overall pleased with my lower facelift and upper eyes. I do want to have the brow lift with two small incisions in the future. My jowls are dropping again so gravity trumps surgery unless you are pulled back like Wayne Newton. I have more confidence and I’m happy that I chose Dr Maurice Aceves.

One month after crossing the border.
I’m healing well and pleased with my SMAS and upper eyes. It has been one month. I have no regrets and I’m pleased with Dr Marice Aceves expert skills. Crossing the border for me was just like arriving in Frankfurt, Paris, Budapest or San Francisco. I would do it again and on the bright side Dr Aceves is young so in the future I can choose him again. I haven’t had a lot of traffic on my review so I’ll post one photo and may come back at my one year anniversary if I remember. Anybody is free to send me a private message. I have already received a couple from others who were uncertain. They followed through with their surgeries.

Wow, your results are looking better and better! You took fifteen years off, congrats! I don’t recall seeing much swelling for you, how did you avoid it? Very lucky! Thank you for the update, and I look forward to following your progress! Best regards !

I took extra C, pineapple smoothies with a lot of greens, low salt, homemade food, pro biotics, arnica tea, and gel. I did have some especially under my eyes. Thank you for the compliment.

I will set a reminder on my calendar to come back in six months. I know Mexico has a following in Tijuana and Cancun but I found this Plastic Surgeon from an advertisement in Los Algodnes where I and thousands of RV’ers get our dental work. With that being said my fears were less. I’ve lived in another country so not being fluent in another language can contribute to fears too. I know understand the German and Spanish languages more than I let on. Body langue helps too. Traveling outside of the states is something that comes easy for me. My first reason for looking in other counties though is seeing how some of the stars in Hollywood look ridiculous and We know they have a lot of money to spend. My dental work is necessary and I’m very thankful that I have an option to Be a snowbird which includes dental work. I also save a chunk of change purchasing my thyroid medicine in Mexico. I enjoyed the people in Mexico while I was there. The taxi driver told me how they joked about the wall and showed me the wall in Mexicali. That was priceless. He gave me his phone number Incase I needed a taxi in the future. The doctor’s assistance who picks you up for your first appointment and makes all arrangements was pleasant. Jaquline has a son that crosses the border everyday to go to school. What a commitment. Learning English and an dedication to education is to him. I will return to have my lower eyes done and plan to stay in Mexicali. Absorbing the culture is priceless.

I did not have any fillers or lower eyes done because I wanted to heal
So I could go enjoy hiking g and bike riding while recouping in the Southwest. I’ll return to have that done in the fall.

Mexicali is like any other city in the US or Europe. Jaquline picks you up at the hotel. When you cross into Mexico you continue walking to the left and up a flight of stairs, you then turn left and cross the street and you’ll see her. She stays with you during the whole process. When you’re finished she will drive you back to the border or to a hotel. Dr. Aceves is a very skilled plastic surgeon. He did a wonderful job on my upper eyes. I’m returing in the fall to have my lower eyes done by him as well. Frankfurt, Mexicali, Paris or San Diago is all the same. It reminds me of in or around a train station or airport. I only had Jaquline the day of the surgery and the following morning and continued to the remaining appointments in a taxi. The cost was $5-$6 each way. Dr Aceves office is about two miles from the border crossing in an area with a lot of medical offices and hospitals.

Two weeks
I’m doing well and feel back to normal. I little swelling. My lowers eyes are more puffy than normal
