Mark L. Jewell, MD

I can’t rave enough about my experiences at Dr Jewell’s office. I have had multiple procedures done there and each and every time I feel like I am part of the family. Not to mention my results are flawless. It is so important to feel safe and cared for when you are putting your health in someone else’s hands.

I wish I could give them 100 stars because they deserve it. It’s not just Dr Jewell being the best surgeon around but his support staff is beyond wonderful. Hillary was my nurse and she went so above and beyond to make me feel comfortable through the surgery and during my recovery.

If you are unsure on where to go look no further you have found the place! Thank you everyone at the office you guys are the best at what you do!

Like most of us I started growing breasts in puberty and mine never stopped like the other girls. I was thin all my teen years. When I was married I had to order a dress size larger to accommodate my breasts and then have it altered back down to my body size.
I was around 17 or 18 when they first told me I needed a breast reduction. They told me that my chances of breast-feeding were low due to the size of reduction I needed. I decided to wait until after all my children were born. After that I ended up getting sick with an auto-immune disease and my window closed for several years while they worked to put it into remission.
Finally at 47 I had my surgery last week! I had the best surgeon and staff. They helped calm all my fears and worries. I spent the night in the hospital due to my heath issues.
On day 2 I freaked out a little bit, I'd seen hundreds of pictures on this website by this point but they looked so small and weird. They are already looking better on day 6 post op. I have both the before pictures I took in the hospital bathroom right before surgery and then a couple of updated pictures. I will continue to update their progress.
I already am breathing better, my posture is better, and I've had zero neck pain since the surgery. One nipple has feeling already, the other side is number but I'm hopeful. Even if it doesn't, I'm very happy to have the one, I'm very lucky I had such a skilled surgeon to do my extreme reduction.
My size was a 36N and while I haven't been measured yet they think I will be a 36DDD or maybe larger but they are so much smaller then what I was carrying around. He took out a little over 2lbs on each side.
I'm excited to get them and myself healed so I can go back to exercising without all the extra boob weight!

Much easier recovery than I had feared. It's 12 dpo and the surgery pain is almost gone, I no longer take anything for pain. I'm not lifting anything and I can still hurt them on accident, so I'm careful, but all in all an easy recovery.

After some rough patches in the very beginning, I am absolutely in love with my new breasts! I can’t stop looking at them. I show them to anyone that shows interest. Including strangers in bathrooms lol.

My nipples look amazing!

It’s been exactly 4 weeks since my surgery. I’m going in next week for a check up. I’m hoping I can talk to them about scheduling a tummy tuck for early spring.

My new breasts have changed my life! I was able to loose 25#s after surgery, easily. By just being able to physical move freely. I can actually run without 3 bras and work out at the gym without my breasts getting in the way.

I had a tummy tuck 5 days ago and my doctor fixed a dog ear on one breast. This is my before picture. It’s still healing from the dog ear removal and I’ll update in a few weeks with the after picture.

I still can’t believe how wonderful my breasts turned out! I love everything about them.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Jewell and his amazing staff. They have been very kind, helpful and humble, from my very first appointment. This group of people truly care about their patients. Dr Jewell, and the nurses listened to my wishes, as well as concerns, and delivered perfect results for me. I always felt very comfortable and informed of the best options for myself. They continue to be caring, and available for you for any concerns or questions after your procedure. They are knowledgeable and trust worthy, and I am very grateful for such a positive experience and outcome!

31 years old, 5’4, 125 lbs, 11.5 base diameter, breastfed 2 for a total of 3 years. Gained 70lbs with pregnancy. currently a small B deflated and saggy( but not enough for a lift) surgery date set for January 14th
Wanting large C to D. PS says 365 is about as big as he is comfortable going on my frame. I’m hoping it will be big enough. I am grateful to have a Dr that is like that though. Very math and number oriented. Hopefully he has an artist eye as well. Hoping to find someone else getting surgery around the same time as me.

I would say I want my new boobs to be as big as looks and feels natural for my frame. Being that I’ve always been flat chested my inclination is to go huge. My husband keeps trying to rein me in, as well as my doctor. I’m hoping he will at least give me 365cc and that I don’t feel like they are to small.

I’m soo excited for my surgery, less than a month away now but still feels like it’s forever away. Tomorrow is my pre op it’s way early because of the Christmas vacation. I have a list of question for the Dr.
looking back at my original goals and original wish pics it’s crazy how I’ve changed in such a short time. In the long term I think my original goals were and are smarter but after looking at more boobs than the local high school boys team maybe I’ve been desensitized or something, maybe it’s because I’ve read so much about boob greed? But now I really want bigger boobs. Originally I really wanted about 350cc dr said 345 or 365 should work on me. I’m really hoping I can talk him into 385 tomorrow. Just as an extra precaution against boob greed. I’ll let you know how It goes!!

I have felt very comfortable with this choice from the beginning but got a little more nervous talking surgical nurse. My biggest fear is feeling pain and being aware of cutting.
Dr said he will only go as big as he feels comfortable with, I guess I can respect that. I just sure hope I don’t have any regrets about wanting bigger.
I was able to move my surgery up by one week so my surgery will now be January 7th instead of the 14th.

My surgery was this morning at nine everything went really great their office was amazing as soon as I got in there gave me something to calm my anxiety told them I really wanted to try and get the 385 if possible when I walked in and laid on the table she gave me a warm blanket and gave me a few things in my IV I don’t remember falling asleep. I did wake up during surgery and talk to them but I felt no pain. I should elaborate we just did local numbing in the twilight sedation. We were able to get the 385 which I’m so excited about. We didn’t have to put drain tubes in because I had hardly any bleeding. I’m home now and relaxing in my chair with ice packs under my ace bandage. Postop appointment tomorrow.

I am feeling so happy right now! They are painful and tight, I totally get why woman relate it to engorgment but on a larger scale. I woke up at night from the pain to take my meds and grab some ice. Ice has been my lifeline! I’m still feeling so pleased with my experience. Here are some pics I took just now

Just went to my postop appointment everything looked perfect no bleeding after surgery whatsoever and very very little bruising I am amazed at how perfect that they already look so here a few more pictures

The only real complaint I have is the crazy nerve pain in my nipples kind of feels like they are on fire whenever they touch anything it’s super painful and overstimulating. I go between feeling like they need to be free and not touched and need to be strapped down so nothing rubs on them. Also my nipples are always hard and so that makes it painful as well. My incisions seem to be doing great. Another thing that I notice is that my implant seem rather wide set like is the Westy but I believe that’s because of my natural anatomy my boobs were like that prior to surgery. I am so so so so so happy with that size I do feel like it’s absolutely perfect I do feel like I would’ve felt a little bit cheated if I would’ve gone for the smaller size the 365. It would seem like letting them hang free would start to stretch things out so it would be best to keep them nice and tight all the time to protect your investment and keep them where they’re supposed to be. My mom had implants they were smaller they were only 275 she had them for 27 years before having a revision she never wore a bra day in her life she hated bras and hers didn’t sag at all they were beautiful and they were over the muscle, but that result could’ve definitely been because she had really small lightweight implants as well. I tend to be a pretty emotional person so I was very nervous after reading so many reviews about people having depression and regrets right after their augmentation. But I just want to encourage everyone that it’s not always like that. I have loved my new breast from the very beginning and I continue to love him more every day. I think that we chose the perfect size for my body there are large enough to feel like I got a little bit extra but still feel very comfortable and natural in comparison with the rest of my body. My incisions seem to be healing great I haven’t started to put anything on them I have started putting lotion on the rest of my breast though. I’m only 2 weeks out from my surgery but so far I’ve had the best experience! I have been treated with respect and dignity by everyone in the office. Hillary is a saint! She is your personal google there any time you need to ask anything, weekends nights, you name it. She has been so helpful and reassuring. I feel like I’ve known her forever just like talking to a girl friend. Dr. Jewell was surprisingly humble. He took his time with me at consultation and explained the what’s where’s and why’s. My surgery was so smooth almost no bleeding and bruising. Recovery was surprisingly smooth only needed meds for 3 days. I was lucky and didn’t have to have drains. Because of Dr. Jewells extensive experience I felt 100% confident in choosing him as my surgeon, and now 2 weeks out I’m 100% confident I’d make the same decision again.

Everything is going great. I haven’t had any troubles my incisions are healing really nicely my breasts are settling slightly yesterday I wore a tight T-shirt and they felt a little small which was a feeling I was surprised by. I took some pictures this morning to check out

after its free consultations I've decided to go with Dr Mark jewel in Eugene Oregon. I chose a mark because he seemed a very knowledgeable, spent a great deal of time with his clients to ensure a favorable outcome, and was very good at explaining everything. I've gone in for my consultation and my pre operation appointment now. I'm very nervous. I've never really had any surgeries and to think I'm choosing an elective surgery seems crazy to me. I'm healing and doing better. They took my drains out inn three 30th and said I'll heal noticeably everyday now. I already noticed that I was fine with just Tylenol and IB Prophin. Feeling pretty good. Still needing naps tho.

I had this done for medical and personal reasons. Dr Jewell ended up putting in round gummy bear implants, 365cc on the left side and 345cc on the right to even my size and nipple heights out. I'm happy because I have been able to wear some cloths without people noticing but I can definitely wear more fired clothing once I heal and have the sexy look I was going for. Breast lump detection should be easier now as all my tissue has been brought forward. I also bought some ID Melinium lub to help with detection. I still have a lot of swelling but so far I'm happy!

His staff has been fantastic!

Feeling a little wide for my frame. Going too large was my biggest concern. I have 365cc in my left side and 345cc in my right. Healing is going well though!

Swelling is going down and today was the best I've felt yet, by far! I do have an awkward feeling of friction (creeking or abrasive feeling maybe) that had increase the last three days. Although it's a Saturday I caked and they put me in touch with Dr Jewell. I really didn't think it was an emergency but they stress to call with ANY concern. Dr Jewell said it can happen and that it can be part of the normal healing process. At this point, my concerns with being too large have subsided. I'm happy with the size and happy my discomfort is diminishing!

I am feeling so good. I was cleared to wear a bra 6 days ago. It's unimaginable by the end of the day at my incision locations. The feeling has really starred to return the last 5 days ago. I have been doing self touch & massage therapy to help stimulate the nerves, as I read that helps. I was concerned at how much numbness I had at my last appointment, so I'm very thankful it's returning. My nipples aren't has hard. Scars are minimal already.
Donna Bella's shop in Corvallis did an amazing job fitting me for my new bras. I was able to get 5 that the dr approved. Expensive, but worth it. I just told them no seems, need underwrite and they fitted me! So helpful.

I have wanted this done since I had my first child at 18yrs old. I breastfed her for 18mths and my next one 12mths. Not only was price a factor but having the time was also a factor. When I first started seeking out Doctors I was amazed on how many there are! I had consulted with two different doctors and went with my second Dr Mark Jewell. They are amazing there! Best experience I could've ever asked for. Dr is down to earth and very kind. It was an instant relief to not have to continue to look for other doctors. When I went in I wanted to go to a full C or small D. Currently I was a 34b and before kids a 34c. Not much different in size but wow does it take a toll on your breasts. I ended up looking at 345cc and 365cc and he will also be doing a lift.

Right when we arrived they brought me back into the room and had me take a Valium and two Tylenol. I underdressed and got the gown on. When I came out I sat down in the chair and they wrapped me up in a warm for blanket. Started the IVs and sent my fiance on his way. Next thing I know I'm waking up sneezing on the operatoring table haha.. Fell back asleep and woke back up in the chair.

So much pain. I've been thru two childbirths and I believe this is worse. The only thing that makes it manageable is the pain meds. Hardy slept last night. Cried a lot because I was so uncomfortable and felt so helpless.

I can say the worse pain I have at this moment is the drain in my right side. When I went in for my follow up i was still having some drainage so I have to go back in the morning to remove them. This morning the pain was managed by the pain pills but spikes right up if I don't stay on schedule.

A little about myself. I am 45 years old I have had 2 abdominal surgeries. Prior to the surgeries I never had a flat stomach. This is something that has and still affects my self confidence. So I went for my consult with Dr. Jewell. His nurse Mary was great. I told her I have been reading on Real Self for a few weeks now. She loved that I was educating myself on the topic. They said I am a perfect canidate for an extended liposuction abdominplasty with Val to flanks. The Dr indicated I have fat underneath I believe my abs as well that he can't remove but I will have a flat stomach after the procedure. I carry fat in my love handles and lower back so the nurse says I will like my results better if I do the lower flank/back lipo. Maybe I will actually have a button after this. LOL. I do not have much of a butt as I have the apple shape body. Oh ya almost forgot. My current info is. 5'6 tall and weigh 162. I have been going to the gym with a personal trainer for 4 weeks now. The DR encouraged me to continue this and agrees with my goal weight of 150. I am currently a smoker and the DR requires me to quit at least 8 weeks prior to the procedure. So since I am scheduled for Jan 6th 2016 looks like I will be quitting at the end of this month. Eek... I am super excited and my husband is being very supportive. I am not telling many people about my plans as I do not care to hear too many opinions. I have an office job so the plan is to take 2 weeks off work and DR says that will be plenty of time. I forgot to mention I gave 1 child age 14. Pregnancy caused alot of deep stretch marks. My TT is scheduled for 1/6/2016. I can't wait but nervous. I read realsef.com everyday. My dr us doing vaser lipo on my flanks and lower back as well. He said I have fat underneath the muscles and that really worries me I won't get a flat stomach after the procedure. I have been working out with a trainer at least 2 times per week and have lost 7 lbs so far 10 lbs to go. Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and pics I think it really helps prepare for this.

TT in 2 days. 1/6/16. I start my colon cleanse tomorrow per ps orders. My best friend has her surgery tomorrow we decided months ago to do this journey together. I am so anxious. Reading everyone's stories on here has been so good these last few months. I feel like I am as prepared as I can be. Plenty of protein options to eat. Anti nausea meds and now I just wait my turn. ps scheduled me for a 4 hour surgery only went 3 hours. Told the hubby i did great and I will be very pleased with the results. I have been home about an hour now. Had to go pee 3 times already. 2 drains in and filling them alot. Pain on meds is a 3 when moving around. when in bed I t is a 2. The best unexpected part of this is ps said he removed 9 lbs. Wow based on others stories i was anticipating about 4 lbs. A little loopy on meds right now so forgive me if i am not making much sense. Lol.

I had my post op today. They said everything looks good. Pain level is very good when laying down almost no pain. My trip to dr office if probably 5 to 6. Not using the oxycidine prescription but got tramadol so that and Tylenol I am doing good. Feel very fortunate that I am doing good. Drains are doing good. They don't bother me yet. My po op pic is almost so different that I can't belive it is me.

Went to ps today for my one week po visit. Drains removed thank goodness. They removed the binder and I am in a spanx shaper now. So how things have been for the last 6 days. Pain-not as bad as expected. Hurts but not anything you can't handle. The first 3 days burning pain when I moved. Laying down in my bed elevated at head and knees no pain. Each day the pain gets less. The drains-pain in the butt. Didn't hurt just a pain. Getting them removed today was mixed my right side didn't feel a thing when they pulled it out. Left side burned bad from my ribcage down abs. Swelling- I have swelling mainly on my sides from lipo and above belly button. Biggest shock still is not having the fat roll flop. I touch my hips and can feel my hip bone. Super weird feeling. Stomach is mostly numb all over. Sleeping-omg can't wait to sleep on my side ps says I can once it is comfortable. Do I think this was worth it. At this time I say definitely worth it. I do not notice a difference between my day 1 photo and today so I will post a pic next week. Good luck to all.

It has been awhile since I have posted. Today makes 3 weeks since surgery. I feel great. Only pain is when sitting in the muscle repair area. I went back to work last week at almost 2 weeks po. Back full time this week. I did have a seroma last week and got it drained. Doing good since then. I have my follow up tomorrow. Each day the swelling gets better. Incision is doing great as well. When I look in the mirror I still can't believe it is real. I can feel my hip bones in the front. No flop covering it unreal to me. Last Friday I put on a pair of jeans I have never been able to wear. And a new black sweater. Size medium and no muffin top I again couldn't believe it was me I was looking at in the mirror. My husband was so sweet he just looked at me and was in aww. At 3 weeks I am down a size in pants. And from a large shirt to a medium. I did go get a few things this last weekend. It felt amazing trying on clothes. I am down 10 lbs and on a good day 12lbs. Can't wait to go to the gym. I miss it bad. My best friend told me to quit wearing baggy clothes she said "you don't have anything to cover up so quit dressing like you do" in a funny way it made me smile. I am still self conscious about changing how I dress because I don't want people to think wow what happened to her in less than a month. Does that make sense? Well to my flat side friends I have to say at this point still no regrets. Xoxo

Dr. Jewell did beautiful work on my eyelids. face and chin. I am extremely happy with the results. He is warm, caring and has an exceptional bedside manner. All his staff is superb. Tony, his nurse was wonderful, too. The cost of all three procedures was very reasonable. I had little to no pain and always felt secure knowing Dr. Jewell and Tony would take good care of me during and after the surgery. Highly recommend!

I just turned 47, 5'8 and 160 pounds and tired of the muffin top. Always had large breasts and also finally tired of the constant back pain. Insurance covered a breast reduction and I had the TT done at same time. I am so please with the results, only regret is I wish I had the surgeries fine 10 years ago.

In loving the new look if my BR and TT. I have an amazing new belly button. Dr Jewell did an amazing job, scars are flattering out, NO dreaded dog ears and feeling amazing. Of course still have minor swelling and soreness but so worth it.

I hated the way clothes looked on me and no matter what size is the muffin top never disappeared. I had two children born 9+ pounds and my stomach muscles were ruined, no amount of exercise was gong to fix it. I was having a best reduction so it was the perfect time for having the tummy tuck done as well. I am so happy with my new look and have been healing will. Dr Jewell my ps and his staff are wonderful.

I did my research in 2005 when I decided to get a breast augmentation and Dr. Mark Jewell's credentials were well aligned to my expectations. I must say that I was very pleased with my saline breast implants, two years later I decided to go in for a tummy tuck. EXCELLANT JOB!!!!!!.
I just recently had my saline implants exchanged for silicon gels. ALL OF MY PROCEDURES HAVE SURPASSED BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!!!!!!. DR. Mark Jewell is very skilled, kind and cares about the well being of his patients. The entire staff has always treated me very well, I just can't thank everyone enough for my OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!!!!!. Anyone that has ever been curious about cosmetic procedures I always tell them about Dr. Jewell and refer family, friends and coworkers. Again Thank You Everyone.
