45 Years Old 2 Previous Abdominal Surgeries - Eugene, OR

A little about myself. I am 45 years old I have had 2 abdominal surgeries. Prior to the surgeries I never had a flat stomach. This is something that has and still affects my self confidence. So I went for my consult with Dr. Jewell. His nurse Mary was great. I told her I have been reading on Real Self for a few weeks now. She loved that I was educating myself on the topic. They said I am a perfect canidate for an extended liposuction abdominplasty with Val to flanks. The Dr indicated I have fat underneath I believe my abs as well that he can't remove but I will have a flat stomach after the procedure. I carry fat in my love handles and lower back so the nurse says I will like my results better if I do the lower flank/back lipo. Maybe I will actually have a button after this. LOL. I do not have much of a butt as I have the apple shape body. Oh ya almost forgot. My current info is. 5'6 tall and weigh 162. I have been going to the gym with a personal trainer for 4 weeks now. The DR encouraged me to continue this and agrees with my goal weight of 150. I am currently a smoker and the DR requires me to quit at least 8 weeks prior to the procedure. So since I am scheduled for Jan 6th 2016 looks like I will be quitting at the end of this month. Eek... I am super excited and my husband is being very supportive. I am not telling many people about my plans as I do not care to hear too many opinions. I have an office job so the plan is to take 2 weeks off work and DR says that will be plenty of time. I forgot to mention I gave 1 child age 14. Pregnancy caused alot of deep stretch marks. My TT is scheduled for 1/6/2016. I can't wait but nervous. I read realsef.com everyday. My dr us doing vaser lipo on my flanks and lower back as well. He said I have fat underneath the muscles and that really worries me I won't get a flat stomach after the procedure. I have been working out with a trainer at least 2 times per week and have lost 7 lbs so far 10 lbs to go. Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and pics I think it really helps prepare for this.

I dreamt about wearing a bikini last night. My first skinny dream. I still get nervous then excited. Surgery is like 25 days away. The holidays are fast approaching and my pre op is next week. Here are some pre photos finally.
