BOTTOMING OUT and LATERAL DISPLACEMENT
susiequtesiesAugust 19, 2020 My consultation with Dr. Deuber for BA was fun, and informative. His staff was friendly, and lighthearted. Both my husband and I felt so comfortable that we even decided to have his tattoo removal done with his staff as well. As time went on, I felt very uninformed. I thought that perhaps his short attitude was due to confidence, and decided to proceed with the surgery. I was really drawn to the "24 hour" recovery because I do not take narcotic pain medication. It seemed like the best fit for me. Just a few days after surgery I noticed that I was having trouble lowering my arms all the way to my sides. I asked, and was told this would work itself out, and to keep up my exercises. After enough healing I asked what kind of bra to wear and was told "any bra you want". After a couple of months, my uplands has already started bottoming out. I didn't realize this is what was happening at that time. 6 months later my implants completely slipped to the side when I laid on my back. Still, I didn't realize what was going on. I was not informed that this was wrong. I didn't like it, but I thought it was "normal". Now, a year later, my implants are completely bottomed out, slipping out of pocket. Once bottoming out happens, it only gets worse, and you have to get a revision. One implant is laterally displaced. They are HORRIBLE. I'm going to another surgeon, to get a revision, and will have to take pain medication as the revision surgery will entail more. I emailed Dr. Deuber office, thinking maybe I would risk getting my revision done with him, only to have my email ignored.
