I have visited Dr. Gilmore's office twice now. She and her staff are professional. They do use all precautions to eliminate the spread of Covid. I had facial injections. The procedure was explained. All questions were answered. Dr. Gilmore was proud of her work and made me even more excited about my choice to have in injections done. I highly recommend her work

I decided to have co2 laser done to help with acne scars and loss of elasticity due to being almost 50. Dr. Gilmore was wonderful and very tentative. She has a lot of experience with lasers which was my main reason for choosing her. Unfortunately, I would not do this again. I have had Fraxel and Erbium in the past but found co2re to be very painful despite numbing cream and lidocaine injections; I did not experience a lot of pain with the other lasers. My body would not stop shaking. I had my teeth clenched so tight that when the air was blowing on my skin (often being held so the air was going up my nose), I couldn't unclench my teeth to open my mouth, several times during the treatment I felt like I couldn't breath because of the air getting blown up my nose. I also broke out 3 days after procedure with several large pimples and a few cyst. I almost never breakout anymore so was surprised at how bad my face looked.
Dr. Gilmore always responded to me and even had me come into the office to get a steroid injection in the cyst and started antibiotics. I now have a few new scars post procedure. It is defeating when the main reason I did the treatment was to reduce/decrease scar depth only to get more scars . Now that all the swelling is gone my old scars look slightly better and the texture of my skin has improved. I just dont think it was worth the cost plus getting more scars is frustrating.

It seems like it has gotten worse rather than better. I was told to give a couple months to see how the skin improves. I have more scars. I dont think I would do a co2 again. I plan on reaching out to the doctor in regards to how I feel it is worse and see if there is something else that can be done.

Bellafill has been the answer for scar improvement for me. This is 3 months after bellafill. I do want to go back for more because there are some other areas on my face that I want the doctor to fill in. I do have some hard areas that are not visable but I can feel them if I rub on my face. I think they will eventually soften. I will stick with fillers and leave lasers alone. I do think the laser did soften some lines and got rid of the dark spots.

I think it took awhile for collagen to build. The bellafill also helped a lot. I am posting before and after photos under a bellafill review. I am satisfied and plan to do 2 more syringes of the bellafill. Click on my username to see review on Bellafill.

I have done many different lasers over the past 20 years and nothing seemed to improve my acne scars.

I went to Dr.Gimore to attempt another treatment with a co2 laser since it appears that my scars were getting worse as I aged. At first I thought the laser made my face look worse. Dr.Gilmore had me come in to assess. She suggested bellafill which would last 5yrs if not more.  

I waited about 8 months since it takes time for collagen to rebuild. I still wasn't sure that the bellafill made that much of an improvement so Dr.Gilmore had me come in to do photos today. I was blown away when compared photos to my first couple visits with her. I did gain some weight so my face is bigger now, however, I dont think that has anything to do with the scars looking better. I've been heavier and my scars still looked bad. I am planning to go back for 2 more syringes of bellafill and maybe cheek filler. They do say it can take a few treatments of bellafill to achieve desirable results. I had lost all hope thinking that my face was ruined for the rest of my life but this gives me hope. I highly recommend Dr. Gilmore.

Now I am getting a lot of lumps in the area the bellafill was injected and it seems like the scars are coming back. I know the lumps aren't acne since they don't ever go away. I was pretty happy at first but now I'm just thinking there is nothing that will minimize my scars. Now I have the scars coining back and lumps to go with it.

Dr. Kathleen Gilmore, Procerus owner/ operator, left me with a permanent 2" red scar under my eye, across my left cheek after she over-lasered my facial redness left from a previous treatment at Procerus. A gross, fluid-filled blister developed under my left eye, but Dr Gilmore ignored my phone call, never calling me back (her receptionist did) when she should have been treating my damage. After months of avoidance, the doctor finally misdiagnosed the facial blister as some genetic outgrowth with another one developing. (Totally wrong!) When I sent her "before" and "after" photos showing her what she'd done and requesting a refund, I got a wall of silence from her. Dr. Gilmore was as hard as nails, showed no empathy whatsoever, and was completely indifferent to my problem, never responding to my request. She wouldn't admit anything and kept the $300 she had over-charged me for the "correction" (to spend on her large Observer ads and new laser machines). Procerus is a shady, mediocre operation where I was damaged twice. I've been totally double-crossed by Dr. Kathleen Gilmore at every turn and am sorry I ever trusted this doctor. She advertises that she's a "woman-owned" business, but unfortunately, she lacks a conscience and has proven to be unethical, uncaring, and incompetent. I do not recommend Dr. Gilmore or Procerus.

So I have been doing a LOT of research for a non-invasive technique to remove belly fat and decided on Ultrashape which I will review separately.

I struggled to find a location near me to offer this treatment ???? Then I watched a news report that a local spa was chosen to be the first in the Midwest to use the machine. Procerus Skin Care, both locations own by Kathleen Gilmore the sweetest and most down to earth person I have met recently. I stumble on to their webpage to find out they are having a big open house offering prizes and deals and it was today only. I ran out the door as fast as I could! By the way I visited the location in Ann Arbor

Once i was there I was welcomed into a very clean and beautiful medical facility. Everyone was very nice and helpful, answered everyone's questions and they had a full house. During my tour around and finding about all the specials, I saw Latisse and I was able to see two people who were currently using it and swear buy it. There results were remarkable!! Sign me up! So I have purchased my box today 4/29. I will start the treatments tomorrow, and try to update weekly. I am going to include pics now of my before shots.
