Laser with bellafill 3 months later

Laser and Bellafill Combination
I have done many different lasers over the past 20 years and nothing seemed to improve my acne scars.
I went to Dr.Gimore to attempt another treatment with a co2 laser since it appears that my scars were getting worse as I aged. At first I thought the laser made my face look worse. Dr.Gilmore had me come in to assess. She suggested bellafill which would last 5yrs if not more.
I waited about 8 months since it takes time for collagen to rebuild. I still wasn't sure that the bellafill made that much of an improvement so Dr.Gilmore had me come in to do photos today. I was blown away when compared photos to my first couple visits with her. I did gain some weight so my face is bigger now, however, I dont think that has anything to do with the scars looking better. I've been heavier and my scars still looked bad. I am planning to go back for 2 more syringes of bellafill and maybe cheek filler. They do say it can take a few treatments of bellafill to achieve desirable results. I had lost all hope thinking that my face was ruined for the rest of my life but this gives me hope. I highly recommend Dr. Gilmore.

On rare instances, Bellafill can cause lumpiness. That is one of the reasons why some doctors don't prefer to adminster Bellafill and the other reason is that it is semi-permanent - can last five years or more. I had 5 syringes of Bellafill in my nasalabial folds and I did not have the contour irregularities. Perhaps, you can try hyaluronic acid such as Restylane or Juvederm. They are are very temporary and last about a year or even only 6 months to smooth out the valleys. If these fillers don't work, the doctor can always dissolve it unlike Bellafill. However, the frequency can be very pricey over time. Perhaps a couple of thousands annually.
May I ask how you attained the contour irregularities? Acnes come and go, so that can't be it. Perhaps you had an adverse reaction to the bovine component in the Bellafill?
