I highly recommend Dr Lindsey. As a health care professional myself, I am very impressed with his practice. He is skilled, honest, practices by the guidelines and has great bedside manner. His staff are professional, polite, and available. I am over the moon with my liposuction results. Dr Lindsey set realistic expectations and he and his staff I ensured I was well informed about all phases of the process. His office and outpatient surgery center are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. His prices are very competitive/ reasonable. I had a 5 star experience from consultation to post op.
I would definitely recommend Dr.Lindsey to any of my friends and family.Ive been to him for several procedures over the past couple of years & I am still in love with my results! He is extremely knowledgeable and professional, I am in the medical field as well and I felt like he really explained the entire process from start to finish throughly.I will definitely be back.
I needed plastic surgery to repair my ear from skin cancer. My doctor recommended Dr. John Lindsey. I was very skeptical about this since I have never had this type of procedure. Upon meeting Dr. Lindsey, I knew right away he was the best doctor I could have received. He took his time with me knowing that I was very nervous about this. He totally explained everything in detail to me and how he was going to proceed with getting me back to normal. After 2 surgery's I can say without any doubt I could not have asked for anything better. From his front desk assistance, to the doctor leading me along the way to insure that i was completely satisfied with the outcome. So thankful for his knowledge, his caring, and his skills. I hve never had a doctor give me his personnel cell number to call if i needed anything along the way-he did this for me. We spoke several times during this process and I could not have been any more happier for this support. If you are looking for a GREAT doctor, I HIGHLY recommed Dr. John Lindsey. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for all of your service
This was my third procedure with Dr Lindsey and to say each one has changed my life is an understatement!! Initial surgery was reduction & the results were phenomenal you can barely see any scarring! This man is a pure professional, an MD that does what's right & not just looking to take your money. He doesn't just do what you want it it's not the best outcome he does what's necessary to achieve the best results. If you want honesty, integrity and perfection then you found your DR!
First tummy doctor said I did not need the belly button detached, but I did, so doing it for a second time nine years later. New doc is going to use scar outline. I don't know why the after photos from first one is so different to know. I still work out the same and still weigh 97 lbs Updated on 17 Jun 2022: Surgery scheduled for July 25 Updated on 23 Jun 2022: I keep looking at the pictures and I’m assuming the first tummy tuck was done loosely and I didn’t really notice until at least a year later Updated on 26 Jul 2022: In pain of course. Hard to walk. To shower after the first 24hrs. Had to put binder on quick as possible . I’m very shaky . Stomach feels super tight. I was too shaky to get a photo . Maybe tomorrow . Updated on 28 Jul 2022: Day 1 post op, everything was good because I couldn’t feel anything. Only 2 hrs of sleep . Day 2 post op, asked myself why I did this again , cried for a while that night because I was so tired and in pain. Got 6 hours of sleep in 2 hr increments. My back is in serious pain for having to sleep on my back. Day 3 post op , 6 hrs of sleep in 2 hr increments. I’ve been shuffling around on my own, but wear out quick. Took a shower on day three , while sitting on a stool. Wearing binder and compression socks. Wore electric leg compressors for first 2 days . On day 2 accidentally twisted my mid section twice and it was so painful I thought I ruined something . My drain pump is draining about 45 cc a day. Go back to docs after 8 days to get drain removed . Updated on 29 Jul 2022: Feel so much better today . Walking upright a little more. Had first bowel movement . I only took 1 500 mg of Tylenol for three nights. After I pulled my stomach muscle and my back pain , I broke down and took the Tylenol . Will post photos when the upload icon lets me select new photos from my camera roll Updated on 30 Jul 2022: 84 hrs and 108 hrs post op. Roughly at day 5 . Was able to finagle my own way out of bed without help this morning. Muscles that were pulling the last 4 days while walking are no more bothersome . I should be fully upright walking by day 7 . Updated on 1 Aug 2022: Should be completely walking upright by tomorrow . My stomach has had horrible gas since surgery and was made worse when I ate and if my binder pressed too much on my stomach. But this morning, I just ate and my stomach is finally not attacking my food. Hopefully doc will remove drain tomorrow . Updated on 1 Aug 2022: Updated on 2 Aug 2022: Drain removed. Not walking completely upright as I thought I would be by now. Updated on 4 Aug 2022: Updated on 6 Aug 2022: Updated on 8 Aug 2022: Updated on 10 Aug 2022: If I had a desk job I could have returned to work today, but I don’t. So I’m going back to work at week 3. For the most part this morning I’m walking 90% upright, but come this evening , when the swelling increases the 90% will be 75% . Updated on 13 Aug 2022: Updated on 15 Aug 2022: Went to work today. I made it six hours of my 12 hr. shift and went home. If I had a desk job, I would had been ok. Taking another week off. Accordingly to Doc, I had quite a bit of muscle repair and that’s the reason for the longer recovery. Updated on 17 Aug 2022: Updated on 23 Aug 2022: Updated on 29 Aug 2022: Just started walking up right at 5 weeks. Still hurts to laugh. Have avoided a cough and sneeze for 5 weeks now. Have to wear compression garments for six weeks. Updated on 13 Sep 2022: So now am and pm shots seem to be similar. Had 7 week post op today. Measurements around abdomen were 1 to 2” smaller. Doc said there are roughly 500 stitches in there . Most permanent. I’m now unrestricted but have to start out with 2.5 lb weights to see. Don’t have to wear binder anymore, but I still feel more comfortable wearing it. This past Saturday I felt a stitch pop and then that area was sore for 24hrs. Doc said it could have been one of the dissolvable ones as long as I didn’t swell or get a lump it was fine. Starting about two weeks ago my body stretches uncontrollably when I wake up and adjust my position in bed. That’s what popped the stitch. I read articles that bodies with potassium deficiency do that. The articles are false, I had a full blood panel done before this surgery , unrelated, and I do not have any deficiencies. Updated on 20 Sep 2022: Trying to ween myself off the binder. I don’t wear it to the gym in the morning, I wear a tight one with bones all day at work and then take it off when I get home until I go to bed. At night I wear the Velcro one the doctor gave me to sleep in. I still can’t turn over in my sleep normally. I still can sit straight up from laying down. I went to the gym twice last week and twice so far this week. The first day back I only could lift 2,3,5 lb weights comfortably . This week I lifted 8 lbs ok and held 12 lbs without feeling any uncomfortable pulling. I noticed I’m really still not standing straight up like normal . I’m up, but my butt has to remain turned in and flat still to be comfortable . Updated on 3 Oct 2022: Still wearing binder at work and one to bed. Just makes me feel better . I can now turn over in bed without making 5 mini maneuvers before getting to one side. Updated on 4 Oct 2022: I think week 10 is the week you feel pretty much back to normal with some residual tightness and swelling. I can sneeze, cough and turn Over fine. Picking up 15 lb weights again. I Can not work out my core or obliques , not comfortable at all. Still swell more as the day progresses. I still wear a binder to work and to bed . Updated on 20 Oct 2022: All is good. Still wearing binder to work, but that’s because I wear a gun belt . I tried to nix the binder at night, but still prefer it. I’m now picking up normal weights at the gym as before, but swell like crazy afterwards. Through this whole ordeal I proved to myself cardio is not necessary to lose or maintain weight. No cardio in over three months and I lost 3 lbs. Updated on 15 Nov 2022: Back to working out normal. Things still pull in my stomach though. I still wear a binder during the day. Just makes me feel more secure or supported. Updated on 6 Jul 2023:
I am thrilled my friends referred me to Dr. Lindsey!! Dr. Lindsey and his entire staff are very professional and caring. Dr. Lindsey took much time listening to my concerns and was very honest with what procedures I should and should not do. He was available 24/7 during my healing process. I am very pleased with my outcome and highly recommend Dr. Lindsey!!
After having two kids and drastic weight fluctuations my breast were so saggy and deflated. I felt they didn't match my body! After a lot of research I decided to get a breast lift and it was 100000000% WORTH IT!
I am very excited but very nervous about my upcoming tummy tuck. I am scheduled for April 1, 2021. Just 2 weeks away! How do I get myself to stop thinking about all the bad stuff that can happen? I have dreamed about this day for so long and now I am kinda pissing myself off with all the negative thoughts! Updated on 30 Mar 2021: I was an anxious mess last week but so far this week I have been very calm and just super excited and ready to get it done! Let's go! I have everything I need, I have someone to take care of me, my kids are off of school for Spring Break... def just wishing I'd already be in recovery. I am sure Wed night I will get nervous and def Thursday morning. I will def keep y'all posted. Updated on 12 Apr 2021: Where to begin... my recovery has been as easy as I believe to be possible... Dr. Lindsey's special way of injecting the pain blocker exparel during surgery is truly amazing bc I have had no pain, just some discomfort. I could have def gone without prescription pain meds. My results so far are wonderful and I am so happy that I did this! I am back at work today and feeling pretty good. I have some swelling and bloating which is a bit uncomfortable but nothing to keep me from working being I'm an accountant. Pics are from day 7 post op, I got my drains taken out 8 days post op. Even though I am super swollen and bloated I am down 3.5" on my waist, 5.25" on my hips and 2.75" on my chest.
This was my daughter first operation. It may take a full year for the swelling to fully subside and new boobs to really settle in. The scars are healing well. Her nipples were reduced from the size of a half-dollar to a bit smaller than a quarter, and she love the way they look. Thanks Dr. Lindsey
My experience with Dr Lindsey was very professional, I felt comfortable and confident in his work. Just walking into his office gave a sense of comfort and put my mind at ease. I had a breast reduction done in October, Dr Lindsey and his staff guided me through every step from beginning to end and even after, they have yet to steer me wrong.
Sagging of the cheek fat pads is a natural process of aging. This also occurs with the jowls and neck. With aging, there can also be loss of facial fat, thinning of the skin and loss of dermal elastin. No one type of rejuvenation fits all cases. Deep-plane (sub-SMAS) facelifting does reposition the cheek fat pads to a higher position. Sometimes fat grafting with small amounts (2-3 cc/cheek) of fat into the cheek areas can give a nice added benefit, especially if there is a component of fat atrophy. Most of our patients, who are 50 years old or older, also benefit from straightening of the jawline and recreating angularity to the neck. Maintaining a harmonious and balanced approach to facial rejuvenation has been a winning formula in my practice. An isolated procedure to just correct your malar fat pads would be unusual, but everyone presents a unique set of circumstances that can only be evaluated and addressed by a board-certified plastic surgeon.
You have heavy, droopy breasts that in order to achieve a durable result, requires a full lift. You have plenty of volume and certainly do not need implants. Your breast volume has, however, fallen below the inframammary folds. In my experience, the most predictable and lasting result requires the full, anchor-type incision which allows for a substantial removal of the excess skin and complete repositioning of the breast mound back up on the chest wall. This also allows for reducing the areolar size simultaneously. This is one of the most standard and predictable procedures that board-certified plastic surgeons perform; however, many things go into the formulation of a final surgical plan, and for that you will need to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.
Our consultations begin with your overall medical assessment, lifestyle and expectations. I'll bet that your BMI (body mass index) is too high. For a young and healthy 24 year old, often plastic surgery is not the first alternative. Often through lifestyle changes, dietary management and some coaching on renewed efforts at exercise, remarkable improvement can occur. Simple changes of a few things can sometimes result in remarkably positive improvements. Usually the best result occurs when the patient and the doctor meet "in the middle." I'll bet that if you lost 10 lbs and did some toning and aerobic exercise, you may be able to achieve the improvement you are looking for. If not, any improvement on your part could potentially downgrade the plastic surgery you would need from tummy tuck to perhaps liposuction alone. This is a personalized plan that can only be formulated for you with the setting of reasonable expectations in the presence of your board-certified plastic surgeon.
A very important start is to obtain a good history from you. Did you experience nasal trauma? Is this chronic? Do you have allergies? Have you had previous nasal surgery? Assuming this is trauma related, it is possible that something "is fractured off the bone." A good history and a thorough nasal examination, both internal and external, can go a long ways towards making a correct diagnosis and treatment plan. After examination by a rhinoplasty expert, additional X-rays or CT scans are often unnecessary. Problems that can cause nasal airway obstruction (other than septal deviation) are nasal polyps or tumors, turbinate enlargement, displaced or torn cartilage or bone, external valve collapse, internal nasal valve collapse, and scarring. If a proper diagnosis is made, corrective surgery is often successful.
Results in plastic surgery can be variable and unpredictable. Sometimes it is not possible to achieve the best possible result with one surgery. Not having your preoperative photographs available for viewing makes this answer more difficult. I do, however, note that you have potential for improvement. Your upper abdomen has an excellent contour. Your infraumbilical (below the belly button) plication sutures may have loosened or stretched. This probably resulted in recurrent rounding rather than the flatness that you are seeking. That correction would require additional surgery. I would also recommend lowering your abdominoplasty scar and simultaneously performing a lift of the mons pubis area. That too would require return to the operating room. I doubt that noninvasive modalities will help much. Overall, I think you have a very nice figure, and I would delay until you can have the additional surgery.
