Highly Recommend!
I am now almost 7 weeks post-abdominoplasty and absolutely thrilled with my results. I always had a fairly narrow waist but after two giant babies and a pretty significant diastasis recti (and physical therapy that helped a bit), I realized there was no way I was going to get anywhere near my baseline without surgery. I am just stunned at how amazing I feel after surgery with Dr. Millard and so excited to be able to wear form-fitting tops and dresses again! The wild thing is I know I am still swollen to some degree and these aren’t even my “final” results.
One thing that sets Dr. Millard apart from the other surgeons some of my friends have used is the careful follow up. One of my friends used another local surgeon and while her results were wonderful, she only had one total follow-up visit which ended up being with a nurse instead of the surgeon himself (I’m sure many nurses are more than capable of assessing healing but it struck me as odd and like a major cash grab—with no follow-up the doctor is free to perform a higher number of surgeries but perhaps with less oversight of the actual outcomes). Dr. Millard has a set follow-up schedule and sees his patients himself. I thankfully had zero complications but in the case that I had, the problem would have been caught easily at a follow-up visit. He is also very big on a healthy lifestyle which I appreciated—he’s not just looking to change you with surgery but to support your body holistically. Thank you Dr. Millard!
