Like many of you I struggled with what I saw in the mirror after giving birth to my amazing kids. Doctor Paz listened to me and gave me natural results that complimented my natural frame without over powering it. I was adamant that while I wanted as much fat removed as possible, and was open to getting a fat transfer for reshaping what I had going on already I DID NOT want the vixen look. I wanted the 20 year old me restored and all grown up! Sexy and classy. Medical treatments even surgical ones are not one size fits all, and I certainly didn’t want my experience to leave me looking like everyone else. Doctor Paz asked thoughtful questions by way of his translator and took into account each detail with a precision I can hardly find the words to describe. He has a quiet, calm, non flashy dispostion and it truly made me feel at ease. It’s easy to tell the doctors (…and people in general)here that have become Americanized. You see the emphasis on capitalism and money even if you get god results, but when medical professionals become poisoned by American greed it’s translated in their work. Deaths, burns, infections, little to no after care or follow up…it all adds up. The only thing I had to figure out in Colombia is what I wanted to eat for breakfast, because the recovery house he recommended I go to (separate review on Healthy Body Recovery House coming soon but find them on IG: @healthybodyrh and tell them I sent you!) LITERALLY took care of me like a Princess. I was honestly a little overwhelmed at first because I am used to being the caregiver…always looking out for others and going above and beyond. Every single person Dr. Paz connected me with in the 21 days I was away from the USA truly took care of me from the heart. You could just feel it. My body felt it. My Spirit felt it and I am returning home restored in all aspects. I made recommendations to his team as far as things that would help my fellow future surgery sisters on their quest and he was grateful. Ladies remember that most of these doctors are trying their best to provide an amazing service despite a language barrier. Know that beauty is on the inside first, so treat your caregivers with kindness and respect. Download Google Translate if you don’t speak the language and pre write or send your questions to them in a clear format. I promise you Doctor Paz’s team WANTS to help you feel your best. He keeps his practice smaller on purpose so that each of us has an intimate level of service. Kindness and love are universal languages… Dr Paz and his team speaks them fluently through his service. I encourage EVERYONE that sees this to reach out to me, I am happy to go into to whatever detail you’d like but KNOW that if you choose Dr. Paz…you’re making an incredible decision. Trust the process #bepaziente BEST WISHES & SAFE TRAVELS TO YOU DOLLS!
After researching many plastic surgeons in Colombia I decided to do my second round Lipo/BBL with Dr Harold Paz. I arrived to Colombia four days before my surgery, I had to do my blood work ( ladies make sure your Hemo is at an acceptable level) , Covid test and also fit for my fajas. Dr Paz met me the day before surgery he was very thorough during our consult, I showed him some photos and we talked about expectations etc. his staff is also very lovely and they can help you while you are having your consult if you don’t speak Spanish! The morning of my surgery I met with Dr Paz again and together we went through and talked about what I wanted, what we discussed the day before etc - he is very thorough with this process, he really takes his time with you. Surgery went really well, I woke up in the recovery room, I didn’t have much pain but you can’t leave to your recovery house until the anesthesia wears off and you can use the toilet, this process took forever it seemed! For my recovery I stayed at Kasa Spa , the owner Sandra is an amazing lady, it’s def not your flashy recovery house but it was perfect for what I needed. Overall my experience in Colombia, the Dr, his staff, the hospital and my recovery house were all fantastic! I will always come back to Dr Paz for any future surgeries, he’s the nicest and the best Doctor ever!
I got lipo and bbl from dr Harold Paz. I arrived in Colombia 2 days before surgery. The day before surgery I arrived to dr Paz's office which is inside of a building shared by various doctors. I was sent to do blood work and meet with the anesthesiologist which were in two different locations. I also went to be measured for my faja which was included in the deposit which I paid the doctor before surgery. The anesthesiologist made me feel very calm and excited. The day before surgery I was unable to eat anything after 8 pm. The morning of surgery I was informed that paz was only doing two surgeries that day. I went to the hospital around 930 am and surgery began at 11:45am-12 pm. I was done with surgery at 2:30 pm and went into the recovery room until 8 pm which is when I was able to go home. After surgery my body was numb and the nurses let me take a nap , after waking up they helped put on my faja and I drank Gatorade. The nurses do not let you leave the hospital until you pee. I requested the pain pump and would say it was the best decision. I didn't feel absolutely no pain until about day 5 which is when my body began feeling sore but still no real pain. Paz sends a nurse to your home for th first 4 days to assist you with bathing and takes your vitals the first day. Overall I would say I am very pleased with my Experience. However, take note that how you look after surgery is not how you will look a month after AT ALL. The fat in your bbl will go down almost half or more it's size and your stomach will also go down once the swelling leaves. The anesthesiologist and the nurses in the clinic were extremely kind and comforting.
I will start off by saying Dr. Paz truly loves what he does & amazing at lipo+bbl. I got my lipo+bbl done by Dr. Paz on February 7, 2019. I flew to Cali, colombia from California and was got a welcome greeting from my recovery house owner “ imi recovery house “. I arrived two days before surgery to get my blood work and faja measurements. The first day I got to Cali. The second day I met Dr. Paz and had a in person consultation. Let me tell you I was so nervous and scared because it was my first time getting surgery and I went to another country to get it at that. Dr. Paz and his staff welcomed me with open arms, he went over my blood work to see if I was eligible for the surgery and said everything was ok and he could perform the surgery not worry about anything. ( I was still nervous & scared ) lol until one his pervious patients introduced herself to me and told me it was her “2nd round with Dr. Paz, not to worry he is is really good and cares for his patients. That’s why I am back” ( her waist was snatched & her ass nicely shaped and round) at that moment I put all my trust into Dr. Paz and felt in my stomach this is the Dr. for me. I Believe in him and his work 100% . I went back to “ imi recovery house” Had dinner that was delicious home cooked. After that I tried to relax and sleep and let me just say I could not sleep at all. Fast forward, I ended up sleeping for two hours. I woke up at 6 am sharp. Got my bag ready and IMI took my to the hospital. Then I changed, got the IV put inside me, met with doctor Paz again for before photos. Then one of the nurses took me into the surgery room. They cleaned me off and met with the anasthesiologist he relaxed me sooo much. Within 5 minutes I was out. 3-4 hours later I woke up a NEW ME. Then I got picked up by IMI and taken back to the house. The nurses at IMI recovery are so caring and kind they genuinely love to take care of you and make sure you are ok with everything. Any assistance you need they will be there for you all of your recovery. My advice to future Dr. Paz patients is - take all the post op medicine Dr. Paz prescribes to you. - eat the food your recovery house provides. - take care of your self - stay away from cigarettes after surgery for at least 3months - listen to your nurses ( they only have the best interest for you ) - get all of your massages done Amazing people with loving hearts. I enjoyed my experience thank you Dr. Paz !!!
What can I say about Dr. Paz? First of all, he is an awesome human being - made me feel extremely comfortable throughout my entire process, explained and answered all questions before and after my surgery, and he genuinely cares about the recovery of his patients. His staff - Diana, Marcela and Claudia helped me so much and are a great addition to his team. He is kind, patient and a highly talented surgeon. I am so happy with my lipo + BBL and am only 2 weeks into my recovery. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon in Colombia!
This is a long review, but I hope that some readers will find the details helpful in understanding the liposuction/liposculputre process, and my experience with Dr. Paz. Upfront, everyone should know that every doctor is different, and every body is different. I provide general tips based on my experience, but I am not an expert. Please only take medical advice from your doctor. My experience with Dr. Paz and his staff has been nothing short of wonderful. Dr. Paz and his team has been there for me before, during, and after the surgery. They have provided me with detailed answers to all my questions throughout this process, and still keep in touch with me to see how things are progressing. I got to my recovery house on a Sunday night, and fasted until Monday morning. Monday at 7am I had a blood and urine test, along with an EKG, to make sure I was healthy and my levels were good enough for surgery. After the tests, I went for my Faja fitting (one is included in the cost of surgery), and purchased an additional Faja. I think its easiest to have two at a time so you can wear one and wash the other. I spent some time at the recovery house briefly, then went for my consult with Dr. Paz on Monday afternoon. After reading through and signing paperwork with Diana (she is THE BEST assistant and really helps put you at ease with everything) I finally met Dr. Paz. I hadn't met the doctor until this point, and when I did, I was very happy this was the doctor who would be operating on me. Dr. Paz is very gentle but focused. I found him to have this very calming energy, and was immediately relieved of a lot of my anxiety once I met with him. Things that I highly advise, for any doctor or procedure: (1) Know what you want; (2) Know where you want it; and (3) Be realistic. Having photos available to show Dr. Paz was very helpful (for both of us I think) in understanding what figure I was hoping for. After the consult, I went back to the recovery house. Surgery was first thing on Tuesday morning, so last meal was at 8pm, last glass of water was at 10pm. In the morning I took a regular shower, then a shower using special iodine soap. I went to the clinic, signed more paperwork, got into a dressing gown, and had an IV put into my wrist. Then Dr. Paz came in to take "before" photos of me, as well as mark me up for the surgery. He was very kind and professional, and put my nerves at ease for the procedure. Then he left to get ready for surgery, and I went into the OR, where a nurse wiped and sprayed me with [freezing!] iodine to clean me. Shout outs to the AWESOME nurse Angie and anesthesiologist Claudia for being warm friendly and kind during this process. My anesthesia was administered via epidural, but I was knocked out [due to the IV meds] before I felt anything. The next thing I remember was waking up from the procedure where nurses put on my compression garment for the first time. Dr. Paz checked in on me to make sure I was ok, which I thought was very kind. TIP: make sure to bring a Gatorade and a water for after the surgery - this will help re-hydrate you and get you up and moving a bit.Once the anesthesia had worn off a bit, I was allowed to go back to the recovery house [and eat!]. The next day, Dr. Paz sent his nurse (Marcella) to help me shower. It was really great that she came because I felt very dizzy in the first shower, and she helped me sit down and drink water. She took photos to show Dr. Paz how I was recovery so far, and took very detailed notes about my progress. This was really impressive to me, and seems like a practice that doctors in the US don't even do - it further solidified that Dr. Paz truly cares about his patients and his work. After showering, I went to my first lymphatic drainage massage. In my opinion, this is DEFINITELY the most painful part of the whole surgical experience. Nobody can truly prepare you for the kind of pain you will feel. The best example I've heard is that someone hit you with a baseball bat, and then aggressively massages that same spot to drain the fluid from it. Do not be afraid to cry during your massage - everyone does it at some point. TIP: Bring your phone/headphones and listen to music during your massage(s) to help distract you from the pain. Despite it hurting, the massages are necessary to reduce the swelling and help your body heal. The ladies who gave me my massages - Nisma and Claurita - were absolutely kind, loving, and wonderful humans. Two days after my surgery I went back for a post-op consult with Dr. Paz. He took a look at me to see how my body was healing/progressing, and was very happy with the progress and result(s) thus far. After, I asked him a lot of questions [I had a lot prepared], and he took the time to answer each one thoughtfully. His bedside manner is impeccable, really. I have had minimal aftercare, and am recovering really well in comparison to girls who went to other doctors. I HIGHLY recommend looking into Dr. Paz for whatever type of surgery you are considering. I really could not have asked for a better doctor for the first and only surgery I have ever had [for anything].
I’m currently 1 day post operation and I am overjoyed with how well my process has gone! Very pleased with my entire process!! From receiving a quote to booking your surgery date, From selecting one of his recovery house suggestions to the cleanliness of the operation facility, From my consultation with the Doctor to meeting my anesthesiologist (which his energy and excitement about his job was unmatched) everything was comforting, professional and beyond satisfying. I could not have chosen a better surgeon. Dr. Paz assistant Maria was very nice to me and very fast with her replies to all of my questions! I received my quote within days on requesting and sending photos. After weighing my options and hearing so many women speak highly of Dr. Paz I ultimately chose him, and I’m very pleased with my decision. Along with the quote he included Recovery Homes he work with, which I’ll make a separate review for. I Verified my preferred surgery date was available and sent my deposit. Days before flying into Cali my Doctors new assistant, Natalie, contacted me and notified me that his original assistant I was in contact with (Maria) was in Canada and that I can contact her with all questions and concerns, which I appreciated the communication. The day before surgery was filled with things to do beginning at 7:30am. My driver picked me up from my recovery home and instructions on where he should take me was provided to us both. I first went to a clinic for blood work labs, then directly across the street to the Faja store, where I was fitted for the Faja included in my quote. Then I was drove to Dr. Paz office to meet his assistant, deliver lab paperwork and sign consent forms and additional paperwork (which was all in Spanish and translated by his assistant) . After that I went to the actual hospital where my surgery was performed to meet my anesthesiologist. I can not explain how comfortable this man made me, his energy was amazing and he explained everything perfectly and at this point I was excited and ready. After meeting my awesome anesthesiologist I went back to my recovery house to nap and wait for my actual consultation with Paz. Once The recovery home received the call that Dr. Paz was ready for me, my driver drove me back and I met with the amazing Harold Paz. He was very nice, professional, and assured me my results will amazing. He asked me to describe what look I’m going for and show pictures so he can have visuals. He assured me he will deliver. And that he did!!! The next morning I was picked up by my driver and his wife who accompanied me in the hospital. As I listened to gospel on my drive to the hospital she gave me a hand bible to hold and gave me a heartwarming hug and used google translator to let me know she already prayed for me( this was the highlight of the entire process) i felt so loved by this random woman of God. Once I arrived to the hospital I was directed to change into my scrubs and a nurse connected my IV and had me lay down until my doctor was ready (I laid 5 minutes max). My anesthesiologist came to greet me and explained what will happen once I step into the operating room. Then I went into a small bright white room so Dr. Paz could mark me for operation. After, he directed me to the room I was lying down in, until a nurse came to get me up and lead me inside the operating room. I was washed down with solution and sprayed with solution then directed to sit on operating table my anesthesiologist held my shoulders told me to relax and shortly after I was given medicine to sleep (which all of this he explained to me earlier when he came to greet me). Next thing I knew I woke up in a recovery room from a successful operation! Paz and his staff was sooo Amazing to me I can’t help but cry and thank God for connecting me to such an amazing person!! I could not imagine a better experience with anyone else. Updated on 30 Jul 2018: It is 4:30am and my body is screaming :-( . I am 6 days post op and the pain from the past two days is at a 7/10. Every day truly has been different. Paz sent a nurse from his office to bathe me, clean incisions, take photos and do a write-up of my progress. She came every morning for 4 days. Day 1 post-op I was feeling great, even stood and bathed myself for the most part. Day 2, was HELL! I was very dizzy in the shower and could not stand. My nurse had to sit me down and bathe me (I was very dizzy while sitting so she made me sniff an alcohol pad, which worked well). Day 2 is when I got my first massage, and I’m not sure why after reading soooo many post about drainage massages EVERYONE forgot to mention HOW PAINFUL that [RS bleep] is!! I was literally seconds away from passing out on that table. I’m not a dramatic person and can take pain, but I did not expect that level of pain from the massage. I was very dizzy, ears were ringing and felt like I had to vomit the entire massage. I’m not even sure if I felt better afterwards lol, I was in total shock and once I got home I slept the entire day away. Day 3 I was able to stand in shower and bathe myself for the most part. Massage was again painful as hell, came home slept that day away too. Day 4 post-op was good. Stood in shower , bathed self and went to buy a medical donut pillow ($25 at Saluti) which is so comfortable. My massage was much better! Still painful as hell, but my masseuse gave me a full-body massage and switched it up so she wasn’t only targeting the lipoed areas. Therefor I was not experiencing excruciating pain the entire time, which I appreciated soooo much. Again I went back to Recovery home and slept like a baby. Those massages put me to bed every time. Day 5 post op My body is so uncomfortable and every inch is sore. The worse pain is in my chest area, it has been hurting all day nonstop for the past two days. Day 5 fell on a Sunday and the place where I get massages wasn’t open so I haven’t had one in 24 hours. Not sure if that’s why I am in so much pain, but my body is very inflamed and the pain is keeping me up. It is now Day 6 post-op I get a massage at 11am today and hopefully my body calm down. While update later. Updated on 30 Jul 2018: It is 4:30am and my body is screaming :-( . I am 6 days post op and the pain from the past two days is at a 7/10. Every day truly has been different. I get massages twice weekly. I still have pain in my sides & arms but it’s bearable. I am very satisfied with my results. My incisions are healing great. They are all flat. I use vitamin E & rose hip oil on them everyday so they can disappear. I can’t think of any complaints.
Hi guys, Before my surgery I was on here 10 times a day reading everyone’s different experiences so I thought I would contribute! My experience with Dr Harold Paz was 10/10! February 25 I flew into Cali, Colombia with a good friend where I was met by Imi (imi recovery house is 5 stars but I’ll make another review for that) and my surgery prep started there. I had been conditioning my body for 2 months pre op (ie. vitamins, water, no alcohol or smoking, spinach, oatmeal, kale, leafy and iron packed meals) gym every day etc. However it is not necessary but I am very health conscious. Anyway! Day 1 I was there checking in for blood work and measuring for faja (compression suit) everything was extremely smooth sailing, hemo was high and blood work was great. Day 4 was surgery because he doesn’t operate on sundays! I made sure to sleep the night before despite being very nervous but I had Imi to keep me calm bless her heart. I arrived at 6 am and had to wait a bit for my IV drip. At the time I was on my period and forgot a tampon so we had to use a makeshift pad.. Anyway i met once again with the Anestesiologist who was very professional yet seemed like he loved his job. He made me feel great ! Lol I was asleep the entire time didn’t feel anything I woke up in the recovery room in the hospital with some pain and asked for pain medication which they administered and was waiting for Imi to come pick me up. I was brought home and the healing started there. Dr Paz didn’t recommend massages because I had some loose skin so I was doing radio frequency apts everyday 2 days after surgery. It sucked getting up and going to them but I insisted to stay with Imi which was out of the area so that’s the price I’ll pay. If you’re anything like me I can’t sit and be bored for very long so I was always walking around but you do get very tired very quickly for the first week or so. I ended up getting 8 massages while I was there because I had a lot of fluid. I was staying with my girlfriend who was also getting massages so I just used her masseuse. Overall my experience with Dr Harold Paz was incredible his bedside manner was amazing he even tried speaking English, Maria his assistant was incredible she was able to translate and make sure I was happy and comfortable. (And her body is bangin)
So I had my surgery with Dr Paz in Cali Colombia yesterday, I’m sooo happy with my results! His staff has been excellent with me since I got here. I’m staying at Elsa Spa Recovery and I can’t even tell you how amazing she is and the staff! Elsa is on top of everything from when I touched down at the airport until now. She communicates so well with Dr Paz and his staff I’m so happy so far! The clinic Dr Paz operates out of is very clean it’s apart of a good hospital here in Cali.
I've just booked my flights to Columbia. 17 hour flight from London ????????. Headed there in less than 2 weeks. Doing all my preps now. I will be try and update as much as I can because I've seen so many unfinished reviews that could have been useful to me, so I'll try my best. I'll post photos too! But yay! Excited and terrified at the same damn time! Updated on 23 Jan 2018: No trouble. Just to it into the Doc's schedule with my flights since I could only land less than the needed time prior to a sx. Paid the deposit and waiting for my immigration letter. Flights booked. I was going to go won't Doral Hotel Recovery House but a close friend of mine who's got their sx around the same time suggested Venus Recovery House cause her sister liked it. Any reviews on these two? I'm so ready and can't wait for it to be over. Hoping I have everything right cause tbh I don't know if I'm well prepared. Can someone give me a checklist of things I need to have/do before my departure? Updated on 25 Jan 2018: Here's my current body ???? Updated on 29 Jan 2018: 4 days until I go! I've watched every YouTube video on bbl and read everything review. If even watched documentaries. I just need this process to be over. I'm trying to gain weight with the few days left since my concern is waking up looking the same ???????????? Updated on 6 Feb 2018: Excited, nervous, excited, worried, excited!!! It's such a rollercoaster but I'm trusting my doctor. He was so amazing yesterday in the consultation and today I get to see what them hands do. I'm ready: snatch me away Dr. Paz! Updated on 8 Feb 2018: Too exhausted to write but loving Dr. Paz work. Just gotta recover Updated on 13 Apr 2018: I have videos and stuff on my insta page. But for those asking for pics Updated on 23 Apr 2018: 11 week PO. Gave up on my faja. If I didn’t, my waist would be missing. Dr. Paz did an amazing job considering I didn’t have much fat. I want a bigger butt so I will be going for round 2 and I’ll be going back to Paz. My experience with his procedure wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t easy. Was it worth it? 1000%! I’m loving my current body and Dr. Paz was great throughout. My bestie has just been there and my sister and I will be going back to him.
