I have been stalking RS for a few years. I had gastric sleeve Nov 2017 and since then I've lost 89lbs which left me with a pair of sad, saggy, droopy boobs! They've been big and heavy all my life but after loosing weight, they became more droopy and heavy. I searched this site looking for surgeons but there were not many reviews of the surgeons in my area, so I hope that I may be of help to someone else. I am 5 days post op and I absolutely LOVE my boobs!! Updated on 15 Jun 2020: Words cannot describe the way I feel! I feel like a new person. I was carrying such a heavy load prior to the surgery. Now... I feel like a new person. At times, I still have a hard time comprehending. I still find myself looking for a bra with "super support" when in all actuality I really don't even have to wear a bra at all!!! Lol
Today makes a week since my beast reduction! So far so good! Pain medication could've been better. Waiting to see what it's gone look and feel like when it's all healed. I went from a 46 DDD. I haven't measured yet to see what size the are pictures later
I had my 21 years old saline implants replaced with Mentor High Profile Silicone . I was a 36 A then went to 36 D saline in 1995. This June 2016 I noticed my right breast smaller and had pain that would shoot from nipple to side of my breast . I went to dr- and my saline implant was coming out of pocket . But keep in mind I've had old implants for 21 years with no problems until now. But back to my story I had surgery a week later - major scar tissue removed and my pockets rebuilt and lowered. And had high profile silicone implants (36 DD ) to replace saline . I'm 3 days post op and feel pretty good . I tire easily and I have to be careful of course, but I love my new look. And by the way I'm 49 and not dreading turning 50 in October. I love my new dr- He is so awesome , caring and definitely knows what he is doing . His staff is so unbelievable. Love this medical team, I've been so blessed to have been taken of by them. And the surgical center team as well . Updated on 22 Oct 2016: Updated on 9 Nov 2016: Cami with built in support bra. Going to try this for a sleep bra tonight . Updated on 30 Mar 2018: Love ,Love , Love them.. Updated on 3 Apr 2018: I didn't use any thing on my scars until after they healed. I always put baby lotion after each bath or shower. Updated on 3 Apr 2018: Had to zoom to see scars.
I've always wanted bigger breast. Pre op i was a b cup. I always wore a good padded bra that would give me the look i wanted. I got Mentor memory gel implant 550cc high profile. 'm glad I got it done and have no regrets. Had an awesome surgeon who answered all my questions. He did a wonderful job. Looking forward to seeing the final results. Updated on 20 Apr 2016: My BA was on April 8, 2016. I got Mentor Memory gel high profile textured implants 550cc in Both breast. The day of BA I was very nervous and excited. My surgeon and the surgical staff were amazing. They helped calmed my nurves and took great care of me. After BA I woke up to some discomfort and pain but the nurse took care of it. I was able to drink a sprite and never did get sick. Never had the feeling of an elephant sitting on my chest. Thank goodness:) Over the course of a couple of days I did feel more sore. I made sure to take my meds every 4 hours and that helped a lot. For those wanting a BA but are nervous. Don't be. You will be fine. The surgeon and the surgical staff will take great care of you. You will be in good hands. I'm extremely happy that I did it and can't wait to see the final results.: ) Updated on 20 Apr 2016: My 7 days post op pic. I was pretty sore and swollen. Took meds like I was suppose to and it helped with the pain. Had to have help putting on my clothes and taking a bath. getting in and out of bed-the struggle is real. If you start to feel better still take it easy. Don't over do it. Updated on 20 Apr 2016: I'm feeling pretty good now. Only have to take my meds in morning and at night. I got my stitches out and start my implant exercises.:) For those who just got their BA I say hang in there. It will get better. Take it easy and don't over do it. Updated on 20 Apr 2016: Tried on a bikini top that I had worn before my BA. Its suppose to be a one size fits all. Before I had my BA I was a 32 maybe 34b. It fit and had no cleavage at all. The certified fitter wrote down my sizes for me in each bra. So glad she did. She helped me out a lot. Love my new girls and so glad I got my BA. No regrets. Had an awesome surgeon. ????
i was very happy with my results. I was very nervous and almost chickened out. They turned out great and i would recommend Dr. Hollingsworth to anyone, and already have. I have sent him 4 new patients. They were all happy with their results as well. I had a breast augmentation done. It took me a few days to recover from the soreness. It was well worth it. Minimal scarring, Dr. and staff were great.
I had very saggy C cup breasts, have always wanted large breasts. My husband told me to get what I wanted, that he loved me and supported my decision, whatever I decided. My surgery went very well. I am debating on whether to get the uplift or not. My doctor told me to get the BA, then go from there on the lift, to give at least 4 months for my breasts to settle, to decide. I haven't made up my mind yet, if I get the lift, sure it will make them stand up and look firmer, but I also kind of like to look my age, and with a little give, my breasts look like they belong to someone my age. Updated on 30 Sep 2015: Well this me, seven months after procedure. Am still on the fence about the lift. If I do decide to get the lift I will update you on it. In the meantime, I am soo very much enjoying my new figure! My husband loves the girls! I do not in the least regret getting them. Updated on 30 Sep 2015: Well, I am happy with the natural look of my BA Updated on 30 Sep 2015: there redid update He He He Am very happy with my BA, I feel my breasts look very natural. Updated on 15 Feb 2018: Well, is now 2018. Since I got my augmentation, I have heart surgery. Want to get the "lift"surgery but not sure if my PS would do it. Guess I will have to ask him. Will have to save up 1st tho. Still love my "Girls" they just need a lil cinching up. lol Updated on 15 Feb 2018: Not sure why pic didn't post in the last update, trying it again
I was very happy with the doctor, staff and the surgery center. The doctor answered all my questions and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I received excellent care at the surgery center as well. My results were great and I still receive compliments about my augments even though I am years out from my surgery.
I now have the memory gel which is so much better. They are softer and look more natural. The healing process took alittle longer then the original because of my left breast capsized. I wasn t in alot of pain at all. If you choose to have surgery with him you will not be dissappointed. :)Updated on 13 Mar 2013:I m still healing because of left breast rupture in 2012, I had saline before. I left the ruptured one in to long so my dr had to make new pocket and cut out alot of 'scar tissue. I now have memory gel which is so much better. to me it feels lighter and more comfortable. I am still trying to figure out to load pictures. I have 425 cc. which that makes me a 36 ddd or 36 e. I had original implants in 1998 which were 350 cc. I was naturally a 36 large b. I 5' 7 152 pds. I make sure a massage them alot it gives them more of a natural look. I still haven t found the bra s I m looking for, My dr said that underwire bras are not good for implants. So searching for a bra without that looks good is very hard. I m going on almost 2 months after surgery so I still wear sport bras which are comfortable. I still bruise alittle bit on left (which is to be expected). I m anemic. I m very happy with my results. I have a very good surgeon and staff. If I have any questions they are very good at helping with my concerns.Updated on 14 Mar 2013:I forgot to add that my implants have been mentor. Even when they were saline and now memory gel. I still have brusing from surgery that still has not gone away. I m not worried about it I just curious if anyone has had this problem. I take vitamins, including iron. any advice will help thanky you.
I have tried Dysport and Botox. For me, Dysport is the one. I know everyone is different. It's like picking chocolate, the best one is your favorite one. I feel both are good, but I get better results with Dysport. It lasted longer, costs less and the company that makes it gives the occasional rebate. I use it mostly for my "11"'s and the remainder on my crow's feet. I will stick with Dysport
I had lost 200 pounds and needed everything reconstructed. He did my tummy and breast. That was in 2003 and they still look great in 2011. No cons ALL PROS better than I expected. Of course if you are a big baby when it comes to a little pain you might have to take a pain medication. That would be the only con.
There is very little difference between the two sizes, but I would go with the larger. Four to six months after surgery the pressure of the implant will cause your normal breast tissue to thin out a little. You will then end up slightly smaller. I always tell patients to go a little larger than they want, knowing they will get smaller later. Rarely do I have patients who think they are too large after surgery, but all the time I hear regrets that they didn't go big enough. A 275cc implant stuffed in your bra is going to make you look larger then a 275cc implant placed in the breast. I tell patients that if they like the volume of a particular implant in their bra, they need to consider one at least 50 ccs larger to actually implant in their breast. Under or over the muscle is the patients option, but in most instances I advise under.
