I had a revision for capsular contracture. My new surgeon used Strattice mesh to help prevent the return of CC. She did extensive scar removal and placed the Strattice as a sling for the new implants to prevent CC. She placed in drains as an additional risk preventer. So far I am so thankful that my rock hard, painful breasts are gone. I look forward to seeing them drop and take their final shape. I hope they look beautiful but my main concern is their health. I am 4 days pos op I'll update regularly for the ladies that new my last surgery journey and for anyone curious about Strattice as there weren't many reviews for it. Updated on 3 Jun 2020: I am finally feeling better. My pain is okay. Aside from some horrid muscle pain under my arm pits near my ribs to my shoulder blades. I have a lot of nerve pain. They are softer and I am massaging as directed. I look forward to them dropping and looking normal. Although because of the cc they haven't looked normal in 2 years so I am trying to be patient. My left side is the stubborn one as it had the most scar tissue and needed the most work. It was also the main side that hurts. I am happy to answer any questions about strattice since there are not many reviews for it. Updated on 23 Jun 2020: I am just over 4 weeks post op. I feel great and am happy so far with the progress. They are soft and don't hurt when I hug people or lay on my stomach. My surgeon cleared me for most activities. My nerve pain kicked my but last week and it was pretty bad. I have a good bit of numbness near my left arm pit and just under that shoulder so I knew the nerves were gonna hurt when they started waking up. My left side is still higher and I know they will settle far more but I am very happy with my results. Strattice is well worth the price so far. Updated on 6 Sep 2020: So its been 3 months. They are so soft. I am very happy with them so far aside from rippling I have near my sternum (which I can feel but you really can't see) I don't care for that but it is what it is. I kinda wish they were bigger some days but thats most women lol. My left is still slightly higher but it doesn't bother me much. The stattice is doing great and I have not had any hardness so thank goodness for that. My scars are still red but I haven't put anything on them so maybe after I do they will look better.
After years of debating I finally decided I was going to get my sexy back! I’m so glad I decided on doctor Moore, she is absolutely AMAZING! Her bedside manner is above& beyond average her staff is just as amazing. I feel great,I look great and I’m so in love with my new body.
Ever since I lost m My initial weight over 70 pounds. So far so good I am pleased with my outcome the only thing I am concerned about is the lumpiness in my buttocks and is that normal.? I'm Satisfied with doctor Moore. Her bedside manner is greater staff is great they called and check or me that day and this morning.
After 3 kids, I wanted a breast lift and implants to look and feel better about myself. From the initial consultation to surgery day to post op appointments, Dr Moore was so kind and easy to talk to with any concerns or questions I had. I would absolutely use her again for any future surgery. She did a great job on my procedure and is one of the most down to earth doctors I've ever come across.
I'm 45 years old, 5'6" and 120 lbs. I'm currently a size 34A and have always wanted to have bigger boobs. I'm the only female in my family that missed out on the booby gift! LOL! I have my mammogram today and if all goes well I will have my surgery on June 3, 2015. I will be able to be off work until the following Monday, June 8, 2015. I sure do hope this is enough time off..... I'm a little worried, but I do have a desk job so maybe it will be okay. I'm seeing Dr. Bridgette Moore and I love, love, love her. We kind of decided on 350cc, but I'm thinking from what I am reading about "boob-greed" that I might want to do the 390cc. I have my pre-op with her on May 26, 2015 and hopefully my mammogram result will turn out okay for the surgery. Wish me luck girls! Updated on 20 May 2015: Updated on 25 May 2015: This is what I'm starting with small 34A and I hope to be a full 34C!!!! Can't wait, prep tomorrow and surgery next Wednesday, June 3, 2015!!!! Updated on 26 May 2015: Just went to my pre-op consult at Dr. Moore's office and the mammogram results were good, so I paid my money, got my prescriptions and asked my final questions! I can't believe in just 8 days I will be getting my "new improved girls" Tonya at Dr. Moore's office is fabulous, but then I have known her forever since we went to school together! A big thank you to Tonya for answering all my questions. Updated on 1 Jun 2015: Well ladies, tomorrow I go for my pre-op and meet with the anesthesiologist and find out what time I should be there for my BA surgery on Wednesday, June 3, 2015!!!!! I'm so excited and freaked that I can't contain myself! Hoping and praying all goes well..... please ya'll think of me. Can't wait to post my before and afters! Happy "boobing" to all! Updated on 1 Jun 2015: Updated on 2 Jun 2015: My pre-op went well today and my surgery is scheduled for 8:45 in the morning. So anxious about everything, but I still have to shower with my antibiotic soap then finish getting things ready before I can even go to bed. So tired but I bet I won't be able to sleep a wink. Peace out lovies.... 5 minutes to midnight and I need to finish my last bit of water before I'm NPO. Night all! Updated on 3 Jun 2015: My surgery went so amazingly fabulous this am! I ended up with the Mentor Saline completely under the muscle at 350cc's. Dr. Moore said with my small frame that she didn't want to do the 380cc's and I trust her judgement. They gave me anti-nausea meds before and after surgery, so I have not been sick at all! They also gave me a rib blocker type pain meds so that wouldn't hurt. I am so swollen and tight today, but in absolutely NO pain! Bindi realize the next few days are gonna be rough, but al least now I great! Best wishes to all you ladies and happy booking to you all! So far this has been so worth it and my boyfriend said that he wants to pay some money on them because he wants to make sure they are his always!!!! LOL! Not only am I happy but so is my man! Updated on 4 Jun 2015: Day after surgery and in swollen and sore, but no pain! YAYNESS! It's a fine line... I'm trying to be careful and nurse these girls, but I don't want to baby them too much cause I want to work these muscles a little so that scar tissue moves and I don't get capsular contracture. Just trying not to over do it! I didn't know what size I was going to get before surgery. I had 350cc - 380cc in my head but when Dr. Moore went in she said for my frame the 350cc were what I needed and I trusted her decision. They have that tight spongebob look right now, but I just have to be patient. Make sure you take the muscle relaxers, they are your friend! LOL! Updated on 5 Jun 2015: Had my surgery Wednesday June 3 and I can tell they are just a little softer today, not much mind you, but a little! Trying to be patient and take it one day at a time. I was able to take a shower and shave and shampoo my own hair so that was a plus today. It's a fabulous journey and I so love our little boob community!!! ???? Updated on 6 Jun 2015: I'm hanging out by the pool with my cousin in brief interludes with a shirt over my "girls" when the sun is out.... However I am sweating just a little, do you guys think my steri strips will get infected with a little bit of sweat on them? I'm not submerging in the pool at all however, it's just my sweat. Updated on 7 Jun 2015: I have been in the worst pain that has made this BA a piece of cake! Would you guys believe I have a kidney stone! Worst pain ever!!!!!! Had to have a CT scan last night with no insurance, that's about 3,000 bucks! Lord help me! Updated on 10 Jun 2015: Had a very rough few days. I have had two CT Scans an IVP X-ray, in the hospital for fluids and Rocephan, a strong antibiotic. They don't know if it was a kidney stone or what but I have been in so much pain. When I had the first scan they thought they saw something and then I had to go for X-rays and they didn't see a stone but thought they saw a blood clot in my right kidney and I thought I was going to have to have surgery today. Thank God that is not the case and as of 11:30 yesterday morning I am in no pain, but I'm taking Toradol (just so you know if you ever have kidney pain as for that... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE WORKS) I just about od'ed on Demerol Sunday night. I'm so tired but I'm better and going back to work tomorrow. Updated on 12 Jun 2015: I haven't been able to even focus on my girls due to the kidney stone and lower back muscle spasms. At least the kidney stone is gone, but I still have this muscle spasm problem it will take 3-6 weeks for that to heal. Do ya'll know when I can at least lay flat on my back or sleep on my sides? This sleeping propped up is absolutely killing my back!!!! Also do you guys massage yours a lot because I haven't been doing that..... I'm concerned they aren't gonna drop :( As soon as I can I'm going to post some updated pictures. They are softening just a little, but they are still kind of high and tight. Monday, when I went to my PS she said they were looking great and she removed my steri strip and told me to leave the incisions uncovered, they seem to be healing really good! Updated on 12 Jun 2015: YAYNESS!!!! Updated on 16 Jun 2015: Today is my two weeks post op from getting "my girls". I have had no pain nor have I had the "zingers" that everyone talks about. They are softening up pretty good however they are still riding high. Is anyone else still kind of high at two weeks? I have tried to sent pictures but having problems getting them to post.... will keep trying. :) Updated on 17 Jun 2015: Loving this!!!! Updated on 26 Jun 2015: Can't wait for this upper pole to settle down and this lower pole to fill out. I know it can take up to 3 months but some of you ladies are already looking perfect! SIGH... Guess I'm just gonna have to be patient! On a good note I'm still loving my girls. Updated on 14 Jul 2015: I haven't updated in awhile because quite frankly I have not been feeling well at all. My girls are healing and looking good, but my over all health has gone down hill. I have been researching problems with my body rejecting the implants and I'm afraid that is what I'm going through but I'm not sure. Has anybody else had any problems with major fatigue, red eyes, muscle aches, headaches and stomach problems? Not sure if it's the implants or not, trying to gather as much info as I can. Updated on 12 Aug 2015: I'm at my 10 week mark since my BA and the girls are really settling nicely. My last post was explaining about all my health issues that I have been having and I was afraid that my implants might be contributing.... BUT as turns out they do NOT seem to be the problem. Doctors have narrowed it down to mainly stress, but also all the antibiotics and muscle relaxers as well as the ibuprofen in my system wrecked havoc on my gut.... especially since I do not take these meds on a really basis. I'm am finally getting back on track. I do have to take BP meds for now and also I am taking probiotics to get my digestive track back in order. Now that I'm better I'm hoping to get active like I was before. I'm feeling a lot better and think I'm on the path to be myself again. I will post pictures that I have taken to give you an idea of my 10 weeks "new girls" progress. XOXO to you all! Updated on 12 Aug 2015: Updated on 25 Feb 2016: It's been a while since I've been on here, been busy loving life! Well I'm a little over my 8 month mark and more in love with my sweet girls everyday! Hands down the best decision I've ever made. Figured I would give you guys and update with some new pics..... So here goes! Hope you are all doing wonderful and healing great!

But it's bothering me! please help Updated on 10 Oct 2014: Went to see plastic surgeon. They changed my dressing and said I will get one drain out next Wednesday, plus sutures out of my belly button. Then Friday I will get other drain removed. I took two pictures. Here they are. The pain is getting more tolerable. I still haven't pooped yet but I have been taking a stool softener. Updated on 11 Oct 2014: No bm as of yet, I haven't been eating the best either and that is going to change. Even though the doc said I could shower I'm still afraid to take off binder and shower alone. My drains are putting out nicely. The pain isn't as bad, I usually take the pain meds to help with sleep. I have been drinking plenty of fluids. I stand up a little straighter and that scares me like I should t be doing that this soon. But tomorrow I will eat way better and not stress as much. And continue to walk. When I shower tomorrow I'll have pics up Updated on 12 Oct 2014: I had a full tummy tuck with lipo to back and flanks, my lower abdomeb feels mushy and my upper abdomen is really big I mean I look pregnant!!! I really really love her she is sweet and funny!!! It feels good being almost drain free!!!! Here are some pics I'll leave with you guys!!!! Updated on 16 Oct 2014: Interesting day so I got one drain out yesterday and I slept good maybe a little two good, my drain almost came out but since I'm a nurse practitioner I know the tricks of the trade so I migrated it back in and took out the sutures myself and tapes and gauzed it up.
