Age 45, 1 day post-op AirSculpt - so far, so very good

So Far, So Very Good.

I am one day out and feeling pretty good. I don't have pictures yet because I have to wear my garment for 48 hours.
I researched this procedure for a long time. Exercises and CoolSculpting didn't work for me. After 45, your body fat takes on a stubborn mind of its own. So I went for it.
I was incredibly nervous about the procedure. But once they gave me the demerol (Honestly, that was the most painful part- but its two seconds) and oral pain medication- I was fine. I zoned out to my music. The first part is when the dr fills you up with fluid and lidocaine. I didn't know if he was doing the surgery or what- I was out of it and didn't care at that point. I could feel the sensation of something moving under my skin, but it wasn't painful and I just stayed in my med zone and relaxed.
Then you have to lay there for about 15 minutes for the lidocaine and fluid to sit while the nurse is with you. All was well. The nurse I had was very friendly and kept everything calm.
Dr comes back and begins the suction part of the surgery. You have to turn this way and that way- but again, I was so zoned- I didn't care and didn't feel a thing. Even though I was awake, I wasn't really in the mood to chat-- so some parts were quiet- which was nice.
I didn't believe the no pain claim that I saw on their site.I blocked a whole week off of work. I had Lipo 20 years ago on my outer thighs. The weeks after hurt more than childbirth. But it did work well and lasted a long time, so I figure I would give this a shot. Might as well at this point. So I put it in my mind that it was going to be painful, but I would get through it.
However, I am totally surprised that I am not in excruciating pain. I don't know if the lidocaine hasn't worn off or what, but I am only taking the Tylenol 800mg. I am really sad I didn't do my legs because I thought the pain would be intolerable.
I am leaking from the incisions, a lot. That is a good thing! More of that fluid out --means less swelling staying in. Be prepared for that on the drive home, in bed, clothes you wear at home and around for the next few days. It's flowing out of all of the incisions. I am very swollen, but see my waist is a bit smaller.
I'll post pictures when I remove my garment to shower.
( Hope this helps the community here. I''m sharing my experience bc other's sharing have helped me.)

I got full abdomen (upper lower waist and flanks) And then I added upper inner thigh while there. It was 18 for abdomen with renuvion for skin tightening. Upper inner Thighs 6500 with skin tightening. It’s only one month post so it’s too soon to tell though there is improvement. I will let you know more at the 3 month mark.

So excited for your pictures we are about the same age and I haven't had any work done and want to find the best, less invasive one that works. Your review was really helpful!
