Wonderful. Dr Aria is knowledgeable, confident, and very kind. While I always felt 100% confident in the ALT’s ability to treat my lipedema, Dr. Aria made my family feel just as confident and comfortable. All the the surgical staff was fantastic, Sabrina who prepped me for surgery and Mike with anesthesia, who kept this desert girl comfortable in a cold OR.

Dr. Aria was AMAZING! From my initial remote consult to the follow up post-surgery he has made the experience so comfortable for me. I wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first of several lipedema surgeries but I can't say enough about the entire ALT team. Pearl and the follow up MLD sessions were particularly great; she was so nice to work with and let me know exactly how I was healing.

I saw Dr. Aria Vazirnia for multiple lipedema surgeries after searching for a physician who I thought would best suit my needs. Besides having an outstanding educational background and training, I was still nervous knowing this was major surgery and all out of pocket for myself. He was so thorough and his bedside manner is so thoughtful and caring. The best case scenario for anyone looking for a surgeon is that they excel in their work as well as have a great bedside manner. Honestly that combination is more rare than one would usually think. I truly found a gem. His presence is calming which was so welcomed. I was willing to travel cross country to find someone who would give me the best care and I’m glad I did. He called and messaged me multiple times after my surgery and even weeks later to check on me and to address any concerns. He insisted I contact him at any time at all if needed post op and truly meant it! I would not hesitate to see him for any future needs I might have. Lipedema surgery is not inexpensive and sure I could have gone elsewhere for less. The way I see it, you get what you pay for. I am thrilled with my results and I know they will only continue to improve with time. I received extraordinary care, fantastic results and have no regrets.

Dr. Aria resolved my lipedema and achieved an incredible result-- I would have never expected it would be this good! Excellent surgeon with a strong attention to detail. My legs look beautiful now! It's only been a few days since the surgery and even with minor swelling, it's just a night and day difference. The surgery was over two hours on calves and ankles, in a lot of tiny and delicate areas. Dr. Aria called me several times post procedure to see how I was doing and answer any questions I had. He really cares about his patients and his work was flawless. Recovery was so quick and easy and relatively painless and now I'm focusing on compression therapy for best results. Would highly recommend Dr. Aria for lipedema treatment as my experience was fabulous.

I cannot say enough about how I was, and currently am being treated by Dr. Aria Dr. Aria’s attention to detail with not only his clinical work, but in our conversation is so impressive. Although I am only 1 week post-op and of course still swollen, I can already notice nice natural results from my surgery. I have minimal bruising (I bruise VERY easy) compared to other patients I’ve seen getting the same procedures done in Germany. I was very anxious about my body not looking natural and feminine after surgery. He operated on my upper arms and just above my bum, so I was worried about having an awkward looking shelf or slope on my lower back. After just one week, it’s looking great. I flew into California from Canada. So, my initial consult was done over a video call. During that call, Dr. Aria answered every question I had. Questions that no doctor in Canada has ever been able to answer, even my vascular specialist. After that consultation, I knew Aria was the right man for the job. The days after my surgery, I had several in person post-op checks at the Roxbury, in combination with MLD massages. It was very comforting having experts monitoring my healing. Dr. Aria himself would even call and text me to check on how I was feeling. If I have any questions, all I have to do is text him, and he replies within minutes. How many patients can say this about their surgeon? This is top-notch patient care.

I researched and interviewed four surgeons about my Lipedema diagnosis. Dr. Aria’s knowledge by far superseded the other three surgeons. During the consultation, he was respectful, listened fully, asked me great questions, and had a full plan on how to approach my condition. Meeting him in person and having him do my Lipedema reduction surgery was better then I could hoped for as I felt respected and cared about. His whole team helped me feel safe and comfortable through the whole process. This relieved all my anxiety about flying in, staying a few days, and flying out. The results are stunning. I can’t stop look at how much better my body looks. The pain has decreased and I have so much more energy to be more active with my kids and grandchildren. As a speaker, I was loosing confidence because I had to start using a chair on stage. Since starting my surgery journey, I feel more confident and have book three speaking engagements coming up in the near future. Dr. Aria Vazirnia, has a personal touch and makes sure you are well informed throughout the whole process and that you have everything you need.

I had 3 lipedema reduction surgeries in about a 4 week timespan with Dr. Aria at the Roxbury Institute. I really enjoyed working with Dr. Aria! He had a lot of knowledge and was very patient with all of the questions I had about the procedure, both before and afterward. Dr. Aria checked in frequently post-op and made himself very available when I needed something. The Roxbury team was wonderful - Becca the nurse pre-op and immediately post-op, Nancy, and Courtney the anesthesiologist were a huge part of making the experience a good one for me. And seeing Pearl for MLD - well let's just say I've never been so relieved to see someone than I was to see Pearl in my post-op state! The nurse practitioner Michele was a wealth of information and was a light during those post-op checks. I am still in fairly early recovery stages, but even so I'm incredibly happy with my results. Dr. Aria really listened and attended to the areas that I mentioned were the most painful and caused the most issues with my mobility and I'm so happy he did. Highly recommend Dr. Aria!!

I’ve just completed my second surgery with Dr Aria. So refreshing to have a doctor that sees you, knows what you’ve suffered and is there for you. Both procedure’s were very successful. Just 4 days 2nd surgery post op, I was able to be in 90 degree heat without swelling. This is so huge for me because I’ve suffered from Lipedema for 10 years. To finally get my life back is something I never thought possible. I truly believe the entire staff I worked with is amazing! You don’t get any better!
