Hey everyone, I thought I’d post my progress etc as I couldn’t find any for petite girls that are my height and weight. My doctor suggest 300cc Demi ergonomic and that he wouldn’t go any higher for me, so basically that’s the biggest. My sizing are as follows - 5”1 44.1kgs 10 A bra size which is equivalent to 32 A ( barely fills it btw) I’m also getting dual plane that’s what he suggested I wanted natural but also not tiny, my doctor didn’t want to go any higher as he thought that might be too big for my body. I have my 3D photo through Crisalix as well. Updated on 1 Feb 2025: Day 4 post op. I’ve not actually been taking many pain medications throughout my post op. I have a stinging sensation on my left breast incision area at times but that’s really it. My chest feels tight but not much. Over all I’d say the pain is a 3/10 - my endometriosis pain is far worse hahaha. I would highly recommend Dr Andrew, he is honest and upfront which is exactly what I like in any surgeon. His room and all the ladies that work for him are on top of calling and checking in which I really appreciate. I’ll continue to update on my results here as I wish I had someone with my dimensions to watch as it healed. Updated on 8 Feb 2025: This is 11 days post op, my left breast has dropped a bit more than the right breast. Over all I’m really happy, I hope they don’t become smaller ( I think they will just drop and fluff not become smaller as they are currently quiet high and full) Updated on 14 Feb 2025: This is 2 weeks and 3 days post up and I’d tried on my bikini. I am in love with them, they do change I’d say every 4 days but it just becomes a lot more natural looking and not as cartoon like. I feel very positive about the drop and fluff and cannot wait. I still feel a bit sore when I get up in the morning and after work it feels a bit tight but nothing Major. Everything is looking great. I do still have bruising that has to subside, I also have no feeling on majority of my right breast and nipple same with the left but the left breast I can feel a bit more than the right. Updated on 5 Mar 2025: Love them so much, it’s getting better everyday. Hasn’t changed my since 4 weeks. It’s a bit more moveable. I have still not got feeling on my right boob as much for majority of it and it’s still a bit sore when I use my arms to move myself.
I had a breast augmentation with Dr Broadhurst and couldn’t be happier with the results 3.5 months post op. I went from a 10D to deflated 10C then 10B at the time of surgery due to toning up at the gym and subsequent weight loss. After 335cc dual plane implants I’m now a 10F. They continue to drop and fluff and look more and more natural as time passes I’m so thankful I chose Dr Broadhurst and would do so again in a heartbeat
After losing almost 50 kilos, I had quite a lot of excess skin, tummy apron and larger droopy breasts. Even though I had lost so much weight, the excess skin still made me feel uncomfortable and heavy for my body frame. I had several friends who had surgical procedures done by Dr Andrew Broadhurst, I did some online research and made my initial consult with Dr Broadhurst. At this consult, I wanted to discuss abdominoplasty, breast reduction and lift. Dr Broadhurst gave me some advice on those procedures and what results I could expect to achieve. Dr Broadhurst advised me that another option would be a 360 bodylift and I would achieve much better results, however there was never any pressure just honest, professional advice. Immediately after surgery I was amazed at the results, they were incredible. Having had these procedures performed by Dr Broadhurst has changed my self-confidence beyond comprehension. My experience and procedures with Dr Broadhurst have been absolutely life changing, if you are considering any plastic surgery procedures, I would highly recommend Dr Broadhurst and team. Thank you, Dr Broadhurst and team you have been, nothing short of amazing! Kerry – Anne Cushway.
I had a breast augmentation with Dr Broadhurst in 2019 and his honesty and professionalism as well as the overall experience and great results led me to return for another procedure. I had a rhinoplasty procedure 2 weeks ago (June 2021) and although I had been recommended to go to a different surgeon nearby as Dr Broadhurst is well known as being the “best for breasts” I trusted him because he never talks up his work or potential results, in fact he is extremely humble and will inform you of the risks and potential problems in great detail and then always over delivers. I had an accident and injured my nose this morning, and I rang him and he was extremely calm, professional and kind. My overall experience with him has been that he puts ethics and patient care above all else whereas many of my friends have had procedures done where the surgeon will simply take their money, do whatever they ask and then not care about their health or aftercare at all. I must also mention his anaesthesiologist Dr Swainsbury who is fantastic and made both procedures the positive experiences that they were.
I'm 5 weeks post op and so far so good. The surgeon in my opinion seems trustworthy and intelligent, his office is hygienic and professional and I think my nose is coming along nicely. I will say I do have a few mixed feelings about the thick width of my nose from the front I feel like it's a bit wide so I'm hoping that the swelling will take that down (it does take a full year to de-swell). I had uneven nostrils before the surgery so I didn't expect them to come out completely even but they do look obviously uneven from the front. When taking photos from the side it's easy to get a nice angle because he did an amazing job in that aspect. I'm also amazed how straight he got it. It was so broken before. My nose is a bit upturned but thats expected to settle down through the healing phase as my surgeon stated the "tip rotates down" and the skin below the nose goes in. I've included some before and after photo's, but if you would like to see what my nose looks like in real life than check out my honest nose job journey on youtube. After struggling with my ‘asian nose’ since I was young, I finally decided to undergo rhinoplasty in November 2018 with Dr Andrew Broadhurst. I had previously attended a consultation with one surgeon locally to me, to which I felt entirely uncomfortable with. Dr Broadhurst instantly made me feel as though I was in good hands, and was very realistic about what I should and shouldn’t expect. Due to having thick skin he was clear to me that I may not get the definition I was aiming for, which is an honesty I appreciated. Despite this, I decided to proceed with the surgery. I had an open surgery, part of my nose bridge was shaved down and an incision was made into my head to extract a small amount of cartilage to insert to my nose tip and bridge to gain definition (similar to silicone bridge implants completed in popular Korean surgeries). After several months of healing, I can easily say this is the best decision I’ve ever made. It’s the first time I’ve been able to look into a mirror without avoiding it, take photos with friends and family without feeing self conscience, and my confidence has been boosted so much. I’ll forever be grateful to Dr Andrew Broadhurst for changing my life in such a positive way. Updated on 6 Sep 2019: Before photos Updated on 6 Sep 2019:
I met with Dr Broadhurst after i was stuffed around with the first surgeon i saw. Dr Broadhurst was nice made me feel comfortable. I had a breast Augmentation done in August this year i am over the moon with the results he gave me. I would recommend him to anyone .
I had 2 consultations with the doctor for rhinoplasty at his Newstead office. He was professional, confident yet down to earth. He was honest and told me what could and couldn't be achieved and showed me photos of previous patients with similar 'bulbous' tips. He saw me before surgery and reassured me. The only one minor negative would be I would've liked either the doctor or a nurse who was in the surgery to see me afterwards and let me know how surgery went. I had minimal bruising and I'm happy with my results. I do highly recommend dr broadhurst!
Hi Everyone, my Names Ami and since the early stages of high school ive always wanted to get a rhinoplasty. I finally decided to go ahead with it this year and im so excited and nervous at the same time. I had my proceedure on the 23/09/16 and i am now 6 days post op! And get the cast and splints removed Tomorrow and im so excited i cannot wait! My whole experience has been very overwhelming since the day of surgery! I did alot of research and decided to go with dr Andrew Broadhurst at enhance plastic surgery as i heard alot of great things about him and read alot of positive reviews! When i went in for my consultation he was so kind and professional, he listened to everthing i had said and made me feel very at ease and happy to go ahead knowing i was in safe hands! Im very happy with my choice and decision with choosing him and his team. On the day of surgery i was extremely nervous and could not calm myself down, i spoke to dr Andrew Broadhurst and my anesthesist before my surgery to go over everything. Before i knew it i was out like a light and already awake in recovery. WoW it was quick! When i woke up i felt abit nausious and i felt abit headachy, the nurse gave me some pain relief and a nausea needle to help. After awhile i was able to get dressed and go home, the first night i found it hard to sleep as i sleep on my side and only with one pillow so sleeping sitting up for me was a struggle. I also found it very hard to eat for the first few days and ate alot of soft fruit and soups, since i only way 46kgs i was worried i would loose alot of weight so if your only small like me i suggest taking a food drink supplement inbetween meals! The recovery is not painfull at all after day 2 i was already off my painkillers!! It is however very uncomfortable. Day 4 post op i was able to eat solid foods and even went to my mums just so my partner and i could get out of the house! Its currently day 6 post op for me and i am still very congested, i find that the nasal spray they provided me has been very good in helping. My nose is very itchy and i feel like i have a head cold! For me personally the recovery has been extremely difficult and still cant believe i made it this far! I havnt slept properly since my surgery and im feeling like a zombie. Im just counting down the hours till tomorrow, once the cast and splints are removed so i can wash my hair and face and hopefully get a good nights sleep! Ive attached some pictures of my recovery so far, And i will put up a picture after my cast is taken off tomorrow. Updated on 28 Sep 2016: Hi everyone, today was the big day! I got my cast removed and my splints taken out and OH MY GOSH im so glad that week is over! Okay so back tracking to thismorning, my partner and i made the drive back up to brisbane from the gold coast and the traffic wasnt that bad so we arrived 30 minutes early, we were happy to wait but the nurse took me into the room to remove the cast straight away. I was so nervous and excited at the same time, As the nurse took off my i could feel a tremendous amount of pressure and it was a little bit sensitive also, but defiently bareable! Next was the splints and yuk they looked gross haha but once again it was more of a pressure feeling then a painfull feeling! The whole thing took about 10 minutes. Soon after Dr Andrew Broadhurst came in and had a look at my nose and was very pleased with the result. He then gave me some instructions for after care, i can now sleep however i want! However i do have to wear a cast at night time and when im at home to help reduce swelling which is completely fine with me. When i looked into the mirror for the first time i felt a huge sigh of relief and gratitude! It was perfect and exactly what i wanted. Its very very swollen and will be for a long time but im happy to wait and see the improvements each day! When i got home i had a shower and washed my hair and face, as i still had alot of dried up blood and mucus (i know gross) i faced my nose upward and let the hot water go into my nose to help loosen it all up! Which it helped alot! Theres still alot of gross stuff going on up there but it shouldnt take to long to all be gone. My nose feels so weird to touch and my tip is numb. Ive broken out in pimples on my nose and my face feels soo gross so ive booked in for a deep cleansing facial which ill get done in two weeks once abit of the swelling has subsided. I put some makeup on but didnt put any on my nose, and i already feel amazing! Taking pictures for me was a difficult task as i never felt comfortable with my nose and now all i want to do is take pictures of my perfect new nose. Which i will share with you all now :-) please keep in mind that my nose is still very swollen and will take some time till i see my end result. But i am very happy with the outcome and would do it all over again in a heart beat which says alot. Updated on 28 Sep 2016: I just wanted to write a post for those who are looking into getting a rhinoplasty, Dr Andrew Broadhurst and his team at enhance plastic surgery in brisbane are amazing! The girls at the front desk were so helpful and kind every time i went it, the nurse Holly who removed my cast was so kind and gentle and made me feel at ease, tiffany who helped me book my surgery and went through the paperwork with me was extremely helpfull and answered alot of questions i had asked. And finally Dr Andrew Broadhurst i wanted to say a huge thank you as he has created a perfect nose for me and i am so happy and so overwhelmed with enjoyment. He was very professional and kind and answered all of my questions even if they were silly. Im so thankfull and happy i made the choice to go with them and i recommend there team to anyone who is looking at getting plastic surgery for what ever reasons. :-) Updated on 30 Sep 2016: Yay its now been two days since cast off! Im including the day i got my cast off! And my nose is very swollen but i was expecting that and im not fussed at all! It looks so great and im still in utter bliss about it! I am still a little congested but it gets better each day! The tip of my nose is still numb and will subside over time and it feels weird and sensitive to touch my nose but apart from that every thing is now a breeze. Im finally breathing through my nose which is such a sigh of relief since i havnt been able to breathe properly through my nose since surgery! I still have bits of dried up blood and mucus in my nose but its getting less and less each day. Ill post some pictures now so you can see the progress :-) please keep in mind my nose is extremely swollen in these pics. Updated on 30 Sep 2016: Heres 2 pics im about to upload to show you how much you swell once the cast is off! Ill post a pick from when i first got my cast off! And ill post another pic of my nose about 20 hours later. Updated on 10 Oct 2016: Hi everyone its been just over two weeks since my rhinoplasty and im seeing amazing results everyday! My nose is still so swollen but i wanted to post some updated pictures for everyone :-) Updated on 4 Nov 2016: Hi everyone its been just over a month since my cast was taken off and i wanted to post a update on how its all going! So ive been spitting up some yucky dry blood and mucus which is completely normal as my nose is still healing inside and you are unable to blow your nose for around 6 weeks. Slowly the scabs inside my nostrils have been healing and i find that if i have a hot shower and let the hot water run inside my nose it helps loosen all the yucky dry blood. I still have swelling but once again that is normal and it is a long process and do have to be patient but i am still so happy with my beautiful natural nose. Heres some updated pictures of my nose :-)
Being flat chested has always been my biggest insecurity. I have always been the butt of everyone's jokes. With 385cc I'm now extremely happy with my D cup bust. Surgery was scheduled 2 weeks from my consultation! I'm only a week and a half post op but am loving my results thus far. Recovery is hard the first few days but I'm up and about and doing most of my daily routine again - just no exercise or lifting heavy objects
It would be recommended that you report back to the plastic surgeon or dermatologist who prescribed your Accutane for instructions. These instructions and details can vary greatly between patients so it is always best to double check with the Doctor who has prescribed this medication to you.
If you do have an infection this should be treated - I would recommend attending an in-person consultation with your plastic surgeon so that they can review your nose, diagnose/treat the infection and be able to assess if it is safe and appropriate to replace your septal piercing.
Hardening of the breast with implants inserted can sometimes be a sign of capsular contracture. The best recommendation is to see your plastic surgeon for an in person assessment and also a breast ultrasound to diagnose if there are any complications arising from your breast implants.
I typically advise waiting six months until performing any chest exercises. Please discuss this with your plastic surgeon to ensure you are following their guidelines following your breast augmentation surgery.
Keeping your arms by your side (no lifting arms above shoulder height) for at least the first three to four weeks, as this will allow your incisions time to heal and prevent any wound breakdowns. Also ensuring that you don't exercise, try to eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of fluids. Smoking and recreational drugs can affect wound healing, it is best to avoid these pre and post surgery. Please consult with your plastic surgeon for all of their specific post operative instructions.
