I can tell you I followed and researched Dr. Amaka for almost two years before making my decision to take the leap and have my tummy tuck done, by her and her staff. The same infectious spirit and wisdom you see online is the exact spirit you see in person. I was nervous and had the same thoughts I am sure you have in your own mind as well. I can put many of thoughts to rest. She was very sweet, honest, caring and gave clear expectations of what I could expect for every step of the way. The pain, bruising, no laughing, coughing etc. ( no for real .. don’t do it your first week) Her staff is the same way, they respond to your questions and concerns in a very professional and timely manner and they are also so very friendly. She prayed with and over me and that calmed my nerves and anxiety so much, and I knew she was meant to be, because from the moment I said yes mentally and made my initial appointment my surgery was done within 6 months due to cancellations. Everything went so smoothly and worked out perfectly, pre and post op. I have even ventured out and tried her skincare products and Botox and I haven’t been disappointed with anything I received from her office and staff. My suggestion to you is do your self a favor and treat yourself to something you deserve and trust me Dr. Amaka and her staff will not disappoint. I truly am glad I choose her and would do it all over again if I had to. She is truly amazing at her craft.

I am a mother of three (now grown children). I have always wanted to have a tummy tuck for at least 17 years. I put it off due to raising a family and the fear of the surgery. I wish I had done it sooner, however, if I did, I would not have met her so it worked out as it should. My recovery was better than I expected. I was sore, the best way for me to describe the pain was like I did 500 crunches, and the pain followed the next day. My scar is barely visible. I did get massages about 5-6 weeks out and my massage therapist always talked about how good my results looked. Dr. Akaka says to trust the process and she is right. It is a process, and I cannot wait to see my results at my 1 anniversary. I am forever grateful.

Where do I start? The beginning sounds like the right place, I have been considering a tummy tuck and BBL for over 15 years. This made her feel comfortable and secure while I was undergoing this procedure. Jennifer was the absolute best anesthesiologist Ive ever met. I absolutely love my results. I got MY dream body!!!! I love my figure and the fat that stayed from the transfer was perfect. My belly button looks like I was born with it with no permanent scarring. I initially picked out a tattoo to cover my tummy tuck scar however there’s barely one there. You cant even tell I had one done. My massage therapist repeatedly compliments Dr. Amaka’s work. Thank you Dr. Amaka for being the Fairy Godmother that gave me my dream body. You have a pure Gift from God himself. I am 45 years old, and my body has been through a lot…2 children, emergency abdominal surgery, hysterectomy, spinal fusion (through the abdomen), and excessive weight. Needless to say, about 2.5 years ago, I decided enough was enough. I completely changed my eating habits and began exercising. I chose Dr. Amaka because she really embodies and understands the ideals of balance. Being that she is one of the top 10 reconstruction surgeons in the United States she will look at you as a whole being and not just the area you are wanting to change. Her attention to detail when concerning balance, symmetry and overall appearance and aesthetics is unbelievable. I trusted her judgement when it came to my surgery and I actually didn’t even show her pictures of what I was envisioning - I just allowed her to do what she thought best based off my wishes and I am so glad I did.
