I've always wanted bigger boobs but after kids and working out I'm ready. I crossfit and and the only thing I'm worried about is being able to do the things I've worked so hard for over the past few years. But, this is something I've wanted for such a long time and it's the only thing about my body that I'm not happy about and can't change.

This afternoon I paid my surgeon and had an appointment with my anesthetist. I'm so happy with both of them - my surgeon has met with me twice, both times for about an hour to answer all my questions about recovery and sizing and why he prefers the anatomical implants and how he determines the right range of sizes. He uses Vectra 3D imaging which is really cool - he showed me from the beginning the smallest sizes up to what he thought would give a really good but natural result. After my first appointment we decided that 295cc moderate height, full profile would work. At my second appointment I asked again about size just for reassurance and he said that in the moderate height he couldn't go bigger unless we did xf profile. I was afraid of a torpedo result so we looked at the full height - he said I had plenty of room from collar bone to nipple for the full height and the extra 40cc in each would fill out the upper pole a little more. We decided 335cc ff was the way to go since one of the things I want to fix is the ski slope indent above my nipples.
A really big concern of mine is being able to workout and lift weights the same as I do now. He reassured me that I'll be able to do everything I do now - pull ups, push ups, heavy weights, etc - as long as I follow his recovery instructions - 6 weeks off then gradual exercise, body weight lower body first, then over the next month or two add in weight slowly then finally start upper body again, gradually adding weight. I'm trusting him here because I'd be so upset to totally lose what I've worked for the past few years. I have so much fun doing crossfit - it's def a lifestyle and family at the gym I'm at.
Today my anesthesiologist was amazing in talking me through exactly what was going to happen before and after surgery. I have low blood pressure normally so he advised me to only ever gradually get up from lying down for a few days after surgery to help avoid getting dizzy and passing out. I'll have a lot of long lasting local anesthetic, fentanyl through a button I'll push for a day and also little threads that trickle pain killer into the area for three days afterwards. I asked about all the pain relief and how it might affect constipation since I hear a lot about that struggle on here lol! He said be preemptive about it - hydrate beforehand for days, lots of fruit, have stuff on hand to help (I'm assuming softeners and stuff). He then said my main job for the next three weeks is to stay well and stay away from sick people. So helpful!!! So excited!!!

4 days to go and I woke up with a blocked nose. I'm afraid I will be sick and have to postpone! Lots of rest and veggies and fruit this weekend. I already have the time off work and after care scheduled so I have to be well! Wish me luck. I'm so excited for this and would be devastated if I am made to reschedule.

Any time I have a sports bra or no padding the bra presses me flat rather than boobs pushing the bra out. Sad!

Yesterday was my first day home and it was a bit of a disaster. I have drains in and am really squeamish about them. I've passed out a couple times since surgery trying to get up. I was nervous about coming home to two kids, a dog, cat and husband who is amazing but not a great nurse.
I started to feel woozy and ended up fainting. My husband was dealing with me, trying to make dinner and get kids ready to go to something they had at school. The cat jumped up and knocked my nerve pain meds to the ground and the dog started chewing the bottle. My son walked in and yelled what are you eating, Jake! Oh no! Dad its pills! He ate all but 2 pills. Hubby starts to panic, son starts asking if the dog will die... omg. So from the couch I had to give instructions. Call vet, number is on his collar. Put chicken away, get McDonald's later for kids. Take dog and kids first to vet then to school dance. Turn off oven. Goodbye.
My best friend came over and took care of me until family was back. Dog is fine, had to induce puking at vets. Found 4 plastic tubes in his vomit that the vet said would have required surgery to remove if the got to his intestines! No idea what he chewed up!!!
This morning I'm going in to get my drains fixed up. Still pretty sore.

Every day feels better. I only had Tylenol today and I'm just feeling tightness and a little ache on the sides. I was able to blow dry my hair finally which felt amazing lol those little things make me feel normal again. I'm still really bloated and last night was super uncomfortable. Hopefully not much longer like this. I love my results so far! I have to wear the strap for another week which is annoying because it gives me a funny shape under clothes. Can't wait to get into bra.

I've never had such a fun time trying on swimsuits :)
I've also been back at the gym since 6 weeks and am back to doing everything I did before surgery. Pull ups, burpees, push ups on knees, and lifting heavy weights. I even got a personal best on my squat snatch lift today! This makes me so happy- being able to do crossfit was one of my main worries about surgery and it's been better than I thought it would be.

So I'm about 3 1/2 months post surgery and have no regrets at all. I'm glad I got the 335cc full height full projection natrelle 410s. I almost got 295cc but during a second pre consultation I decided little more volume up top would be good. I'm so happy I didn't go smaller than this! If I could do anything different, I'd consider a little more projection as long as there wouldn't be any more width. I can't push them together to get any cleavage but they're still getting softer so maybe one day. This could be because I'm fairly wide apart naturally or because the 410s are firmer and textured doesn't move as much. I love them anyway. I'm still a little numb under the nipples on the outer sides but it's getting better.
My scars are pink and I'm wearing tape on them all the time and will until they're faded more. My surgeon said it's up to me at this point. I've had a keloid scar before and definitely don't want that here! He told me that when they're pink we can still influence their final result so why not keep the tape if it's not irritating?
I can sleep however I want and even lay on my stomach without feeling uncomfortable.
Overall, I thought that recovery to this point of feeling normal was going to take longer so I'm pretty happy with this!

My experience with Dr Bialostocki was fantastic. Consultation was great, informative and reassuring. 3D imaging was very helpful. His first recommendation was a little conservative and I ended up going for a second appt to ask about going bigger which he was happy to accommodate. The post op care was amazing too- kind and helpful for a few months afterwards to make sure all was well. I’m very happy with my results and it’s almost 2 years on. If I did it again I’d go to him and go a little bit bigger.
