I've always wanted bigger boobs but after kids and working out I'm ready. I crossfit and and the only thing I'm worried about is being able to do the things I've worked so hard for over the past few years. But, this is something I've wanted for such a long time and it's the only thing about my body that I'm not happy about and can't change.

I can't wait to see the new you! When is your surgery date? Where is the placement going to be? What bra size are you at and what should this put you to? My consult isn't until July? Argh! Good Luck! I'm excited for you!

I'm booked in June 13th! I'm going under the muscle. Right now I'm a 32 or 34 b and I want to get to a d with 335cc full height full profile anatomicals.

I Crossfit as well and had your same concerns. I really enjoy push ups and pull ups particularly since they made me look like I had cleavage and a fit upper body. Well I'm already 10 weeks post op and asked my surgeon how he felt about me resuming pull ups/push ups and he discouraged me from doing them so that I don't "ruin" my new look. He works on a lot of body builders and said he couldn't understand why they would want to do so much upper body exercises. Well in any event It was his personal opinion and more tied to ruining his artistry. He said it's ok once in a while but not to do too many isolated pectoral exercises. Hm. I was a little depressed because I want to do Murph for Memorial Day and not have limitations around any WODs. I've been slow to restart to make sure I'm fully healed. I think I will try a little upper body next week. There are a few Crossfitters on this blog so see if you can find other thoughts as well. I knew that if I had to have a lift and have my areola cut that would be a deal breaker. In hindsight, I think if I thought 50% of my workout lifestyle would change that might have been a deal breaker too. I wanted bigger boobs but not that bad. You already look great but good luck with everything.

Thanks for sharing this. This exact situation was what I've spent most of my time talking with my surgeon about. He's promised that I'll be able to do everything I can do now afterwards but I have to take it slowly and listen to his recovery instructions. I fully expect that it'll be months before I try pull ups. I'm going into this thinking that this will be my time to work on technique, range of motion and lower body and abs. Mentally, it'll be tough losing the ability to do the upper body stuff I've worked for but I am going to take the chance and trust my surgeon on this. If he would have told me I'd have to give up parts of crossfit i probably wouldn't do this! Fingers crossed !

i had my preop yesterday 5/22 & i do triathlons, run, yoga etc. I had them same concerns reguarding size & under the muscle placement. My dr said unless I was a extreme BB (bodybuilder) which I am not.. 330 cc was not going to be an issue at all. My Dr is also athletic (does 1/2 iron mans etc.) & has implants. I totally trust her thoughts on this. My surgery is 6/5/17 (mommy makeover)

This afternoon I paid my surgeon and had an appointment with my anesthetist. I'm so happy with both of them - my surgeon has met with me twice, both times for about an hour to answer all my questions about recovery and sizing and why he prefers the anatomical implants and how he determines the right range of sizes. He uses Vectra 3D imaging which is really cool - he showed me from the beginning the smallest sizes up to what he thought would give a really good but natural result. After my first appointment we decided that 295cc moderate height, full profile would work. At my second appointment I asked again about size just for reassurance and he said that in the moderate height he couldn't go bigger unless we did xf profile. I was afraid of a torpedo result so we looked at the full height - he said I had plenty of room from collar bone to nipple for the full height and the extra 40cc in each would fill out the upper pole a little more. We decided 335cc ff was the way to go since one of the things I want to fix is the ski slope indent above my nipples.

A really big concern of mine is being able to workout and lift weights the same as I do now. He reassured me that I'll be able to do everything I do now - pull ups, push ups, heavy weights, etc - as long as I follow his recovery instructions - 6 weeks off then gradual exercise, body weight lower body first, then over the next month or two add in weight slowly then finally start upper body again, gradually adding weight. I'm trusting him here because I'd be so upset to totally lose what I've worked for the past few years. I have so much fun doing crossfit - it's def a lifestyle and family at the gym I'm at.

Today my anesthesiologist was amazing in talking me through exactly what was going to happen before and after surgery. I have low blood pressure normally so he advised me to only ever gradually get up from lying down for a few days after surgery to help avoid getting dizzy and passing out. I'll have a lot of long lasting local anesthetic, fentanyl through a button I'll push for a day and also little threads that trickle pain killer into the area for three days afterwards. I asked about all the pain relief and how it might affect constipation since I hear a lot about that struggle on here lol! He said be preemptive about it - hydrate beforehand for days, lots of fruit, have stuff on hand to help (I'm assuming softeners and stuff). He then said my main job for the next three weeks is to stay well and stay away from sick people. So helpful!!! So excited!!!

Thanks! This is years of planning and saving finally happening!

HI, exciting! Can I ask who is your surgeon and why you have decided on anatomical rather than round? Also, are you going under or over the muscle - considering your cross fit lifestyle etc?. I am currently booked for 20 June, but not sure on what implant yet. Hope the preparations are going well!

I'm in New Zealand and have chosen Adam Bialostocki for my surgeon. He works mainly with anatomical implants, says he thinks they're the Rolls Royce of implants. I'm going under for the long term benefits and he's promised I will be able to still work out how I do now. I have to take longer off the gym initially and gradually get back to heavy weights. I'm getting very excited!!!

I did Sientea anatomical 2 months ago and love them. I only wish I could have gone bigger but my BWD wouldnt accomodate the next size up. Ive started my normal workout routines in the last couple weeks with no problem although ive been holding off on pushups, but I can do plank no problem. Good luck Im sure they will look wonderful!!

You look great! I can't really go bigger than 335cc but think it'll be fine. Good to hear you're getting back to your workouts without any problems- I hope I'm the same.

I'm not shy so I'll ask... What's a 2-up bra?
May 23, 2017
Lol sorry it's a bra that's supposed to bump you up two sizes! It's from Cotton On which is an Australian company.
