15 days to go for my BA and lift. So happy to find this website!!!
Thank you ladies for all the pictures and posts! I'm experiencing the same fears, doubts and second thoughts as most of you out there. It's nice to know that all these emotions are normal and I'm not alone.
I've been thinking about getting a BA for 3 years. Finally decided to go ahead and see a PS. I was not sure if I needed a lift but after consulting the doc we decided that in order to achieve the results I'm looking for a lift is the best option.
I want breast that fit the size of my body... Not huge, but big and beautiful.
I've always been very small up top but never minded since they were cute & perky and fit my body shape. After the kids, breast feeding/pumping and losing weight they are now tiny AND droopy.
I decided to have my procedure done by Dr. Nezami. I loved his before/after pics and have had a good experience so far. He spent quite a lot of time with me in my initial consultation, was very thorough and honest about what to expect. My pre-op is on March 12th.
Before pics are on the way...

My pre-op visit is this Thursday. I'm both excited & nervous. I've been obsessively reading reviews from others that have already had their procedures done.
Healing time seems to vary immensely. I'm so glad there are close up photos of the incisions out there. I would have freaked out after my procedure if I hadn't seen them already and also seen how well they heal.
One thing I consistently read is that it's all worth it :)
I almost change my mind about doing this every day.
Anyway, looking at myself in the mirror I know that I'm going to be very happy after my BA & lift.
I can't wait to try on this nighty on after my new " girls" are in :)

I went to my preOp this morning and it went great. My PS and his staff are excellent. They are absolutely meticulous in everything they do.
When I went to my first consultation they gave me a packet with information about the PS, the procedure I was interested in and the Do's and Dont's for surgery. I hadn't even decided if I was going to do it yet but they gave me the information anyway which I thought was very helpful.
Anyway, today the PS's surgery assistant went over all the preOp instructions with me. She spent quite a bit of time with me and was very thorough. I was given everything in writing. They even gave me a pre-printed schedule to keep track of the times I take my meds !!!
I saw Dr. Nezami again and he was awesome. He checked out the "girls", re-measured, went over the procedure and asked if I had any questions. I really liked that he takes the time to SEE his patients. He had done all this at my first visit too. I told him about my concerns regarding the size and he said to try the 350 cc sizers and that they wouldn't make too much of a difference. His only concern was that they may come out to the sides a bit (side boob) on my frame.
I tried them on & liked them more than my previous choice of 325 cc . So I called in his assistant and modeled (lol) for her with each of the sizers without telling her the cc's. She was hands down all in for the 350's :)
So 350 cc Natrelle 20 (HP) Silicone implants it is!!! (Under the muscle, with lollipop lift)
I have to admit I'm SUPER nervous

It feels like I have two warm bricks on my chest. Not too bad.

I was doing pretty well and on the morning of day four as I was getting out of bed, I must have moved incorrectly or something and my left boob just felt like it had been ripped off. The pain was awful!!! Luckily I had a scheduled appointment for that same day at 2pm.
I saw my PS and he examined both breasts paying special attention to the left. He said I had probably broken a blood vessel and made me an ice pack right then & there. He instructed me to apply pressure on that spot with the ice. All night if possible.
I followed his instructions and today just 2 days later) I'm feeling fine.
I saw the Dr @ 9AM and he removed my stitches and taped everything back up. My left boob is a bit more swollen and tender but overall looking and feeling good :)
Oh, and I ended up with the 325 cc. He said the 350cc was stretching my skin too much so he went with the 325's

I'm almost feeling normal again. I measured myself today & am SUPER disappointed ... Looks like they're only going tone a full B cup :(
My band measure is still 30, so it would be a 34 bra band, but my breast measure was only 36 which would make it a B cup. I love that they have the nice roundness to them but I wanted at least a full C cup :(
Is it too soon to really get an accurate size???? Or am I just going to be a full B cup??

My doctor removed my tape today. He said I can start anti-scarring treatment using silicone strips during the day and Mederma at bedtime.
I was so pleased to see that the scars are much better than I expected!
I also went and bought my first post op bras... A 34D!!! I was so happy to fit in this size. Unlike a lot of ladies on this site, I never had large breasts. I've always been very small so this was an incredibly good experience for me.
And I had been freaking out because I thought my new girls weren't big enough, lol!! Some pics...

I got the ok to go back to Spin class from my PS at 4 weeks post op. It wasnt until 6 weeks post that I could actually do everything. My class is called 'Spin & Core' so we do get off the bikes & do strength training.
I'm feeling very good and the scars are slowly looking better.
I'm definitely a 34D. I bought bras from VS, Maidenform & Vanity Fair...all had to be 34D.
Feeling happy with my size although I do wish they were bigger. They are perfectly proportionate.
