Not dynamic lines but static. Skin care and treatment. I hate that this bothers me as much as it does. I've prematurely aged. Maybe it's sugar sag? I have an asymmetrical mouth (I try to correct with makeup). I have static nasolabial fold wrinkles, and an 11 etched between my eyes. Mainly, my issues are the laugh lines because they're there, even at rest. Argh. Is there an alternative treatment to fillers, (afraid of going blind) like peels, ointments, ultrasound? Would love to reduce or soften. I accept that I'm aging, but this seems early.
Hello, I'm in my 20's and I've started to notice some fine nasolabial folds that weren't there before. I recently lost some weight and also fixed my teeth (I had veneers added to my upper teeth and they somewhat affected the way my mouth looks). Since I'm still young and the lines are not that deep, I was looking to avoid fillers and some other invasive or surgical treatments. Are there any options for a case like mine?
I have seen some before and after photos of older patients who's smoker lines, marionette lines, and nasolabial folds were reduced to basically nothing. I have had filler, which I like. But, these creases drive me crazy (I can see them all the time) and I would like them to be completely gone. What can I expect from a chemical peel? Do doctors provide peels to people in their 30s?
Can a loss of skin elasticity and deeper nasolabial folds be a result of too many chemical peels and laser treatments? I had a series of glycolic peels followed by a laser treatments 6 months later for melasma. Shortly after the laser treatment I noticed significantly deeper nasolabial folds. I wasn't sure if this is coincidental or if I need to slow down on the treatments. I am only 31 and the onset of the nasolabial folds seemed to happen quick.
I recently applied an Alpha Beta Peel (10% salicylic acid followed by a 40% glycolic acid) chemical peel product on my face. I was left with two dark (almost gray) lines going from each side of my nose to the corners of my mouth. They are very visible and I am worried that I won't be able to get rid of these. Will they go away and if so, how can I get rid of them? Should I not use the acid peel on that area anymore? I had no problem with the rest of my face. I appreciate any suggestions you many have. Thanks
Chemical peel or Laser resurfacing for severe perioral lines, nasolabial folds and folds under mouth corners? Which technology is best? The surgeon said Facelift won't help, suggested Chemical peel, he doesn't use laser. I’m willing to do both. Research has confused me. I am 60, have 15 facial age spots, and years of sun exposure. Don't tend to scar, but recently hyperpigmented after using Efudex on 2 pre-cancer cheek spots, VERY slowly fading. On my nose it healed quickly.
Ive been noticing for a while now a strange (dent?) on the right side of my face. Its more noticeable in pictures and certain lighting. I thought at first it might be nasolibial lines but it really doesnt look so much like a wrinkle and its only on the one side. Im getting a chemical peel soon and am wondering if that may help? I do have quite a bit of acne scarring, perhaps its just a deeper scar. I feel like it ages me a lot, would appreciate any insight on how to fix this!
