I had a medium Chemical Peel, 7 weeks ago and I went out 10 days after the peel with sunblock on my face, but when I came back my face was kind of tanned. It got a lighter color after 2 weeks, leaving an erythema below my eyes until now. The dermatologist gave me mometasone and hydroquinone, and suspended the hydroquinone after 2 weeks. Now Im just taking the mometasone, Ive noticed a light tan in my face and redness in some parts. My worry is if Im going to be permanently tanned in my face, and if mometasone is the right treatment and for how long do I have to wait to fully recover? Thank You ! ! ! ! PS Im white hispanic
I have done 3 times fractional laser and 3 times peeling, but the last time I was having redness in the area before doing the last peeling, the result was a dark large spot that the doctors said it become thinned skin . is this thinning will become normal? now its been 2 months since I peeled it, there is an improvement but still didn't become normal, and how long does it take to become normal . i'm using now soskin densifying cream and repaderm gel activateur
I had a (mandelic acid ) peel 30% ,2 months ago ,and i still have some red/ pinkish marks on my cheeks ,they don't improve even with a gentle and regular skin care regime and with using a daily spf 50,they look like broken capillaries or burned hyper-pigmented patches ,are they gonna go away with time,and eventually heal or i will need laser treatment ?What can i do to improve the marks?(they are not scars) .Is the laser treatment necessary ?could you please recommend the best treatment? thanks
An aesthetician gave me my usual 30% lactic acid peel and burned my chin. I've used aloe vera gel, aquaphor and hydrocortisone cream for weeks and the skin has only gotten worse. The effected skin feels scaly and my moisturizer (Cerave) has no effect on that now matter how often I reapply. It also has splotches of raised red skin that peels to no end and is wrinkly in some places. Is this a scar? Is there any any way for me to at least get the raised skin to go down?
My Physician said you can get a chemical peel 3 weeks after accutane?? I'm not sure but it's been 2 months off accutane and well my skin oil is back, very oily. I don't know what to do. She said to get a chemical peel now(2 months after tane) And co2 laser a month after?
