I had my breast reduction about five months ago. The healing has been great but now I found my t junction scars to be very thick and lumpy. I've looked at many different scars and found one similar but mine is very saw and red and I wonder what could be wrong.
I have developed these scars after breast reduction. It has been 5 months. Is this type of scarring normal? Surgeon has been dismissive about them. They are also extremely painful to the point I cannot stand clothing against them.
I had a breast lift with a slight reduction (50g from left, 55g from right) on May 9. I have healed very well for the most part (scarring is fading, and my results are beautiful) but I have been experiencing consistent soreness as well as twinges of sharper pain in both breasts since then, not horrible but definitely noticeable, maybe a 3-4/10, especially in the upper pole of my breasts over the pectoral muscle and also near my scars. Is this normal? Will it go away? Should I contact my surgeon?
I strongly feel that the lumps are a blood clot ( about the size of a golf ball maybe a bit bigger) Can you please tell me what is the best course of action to confirm if this is the case, do I need an x-ray? Do I need surgery to remove it? Or will it stay there & dissolve for its self? Can it cause me any further complications to my health or healing process? Can I fly long haul flights in the time being? I would really appreciate some professional advice, Thanks.
Hi, I have many concerns about my breast reduction and lift 5 months post op. The scars under the breast seem to be getting wider and spreading, they are still quite raised and thick. Is this normal 5 months post op? Also are my areola scars normal? They are different sized and stretch small to large constantly. Also are my scars under my breasts too high up? They are not at all hidden. Thanks
5 mos post op and using silicone scar gel only, stopped using paper tape at 8 weeks as per my ps. I have a lot of sagging recurring in the weeks since I had surgery, and am noticing that my scars are getting wider since I stopped the tape. Also, Im using underwire bras since about 8 weeks, I need the support they provide but not sure if I should be wearing a different bra? What options are there for treating scars, and when can they be implemented? Calling ps is no longer an option for advice
I've had my breast reduction 5 months ago. Since then I've had redness and pain that eventually ends up coming to a head . It looks like a pimple and it starts to drain or I pop them. Yellow pus comes out. Sometimes it's thicker consistency (like popping a big pimple ). I have managed to heal them by keeping them clean and covered and using antibiotic polysporin. I am just curious as to what it is. Maybe old stitches? My plastic surgeon does not seem concerned. Wondering is it's normal?
I am 5 months po from a reduction & breast lift. I had 100g removed. I was a 34DDD prior to surgery. I want to be a C cup. Post op my breasts were high & tight and I was excited. Now 5 months out & my breasts are just as large as before. They are uneven and the bottom portion in falling. My nipples have stretched. It appears some breast tissue has grown back. Is this possible? I am 53 years old going thru menopause. Will have revision in a few months. My PS is very experienced so I'm confused.
I had my reduction on June 15th of this year so it's been 5 months now and I was wondering how long I should wait before having my nipples pierced. It's something I've always wanted to have done but I never liked how my breasts looked so I never did it. My surgery went great and I healed wonderfully with no problems at all. So my question is...how long should I wait?
