Im 10 days post op on a Strattice reconstruction surgery for very thin skin under my breasts. Ive been healing great with no pain. Last night I noticed pinkness forming underneath my incision and coming down. Sent my PS photos and he prescribed me a Zpack hes not worried but its better to be safe than sorry. He had me outline the redness with a marker to track my progress of whether it stays the same, improves or worsens. Just want second opinions. Does this look infected ?
no infection and swab was normal, if I am allergic to the silicone implant if I have it removed will my thin skin be able to heal I don't want to end up with gaping holes, I had mascetomy with reconstruction, this has been 3 months with not much improvement with steroid creams am at a loss what to do.
Reconstructive surgery due to double mesectomy. Age 45. Was a B cup size prior to mesectomy. Want to know the medical fluid amount to accommodate a C cup size. Can I ask to expand more? What would be the medical issues in doing so? Last expansion on June 2, 2016. Can expanding further be safe for me?
What can be done about thin/thinning skin after a bilateral mastectomy? No radiation done. Have Alloderm with silicon mod implants but still have rippling, puckers and divots. Is there anything I can do to help remedy this? Thank you for any help!!
