I have slicone implants under the muscle. About 6 weeks out, my right breast dropped causing me to have a deep indentation at the top. When I flex, I look deformed. I also have indentation on the side of my left breast near the bottom. My ps informed me that I have great results but I am worried that these indentions will get worse especially with age and gravity. Any advice if I am overly paranoid?
I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. The reconstruction was using expanders and then implants. My right side was radiated. So the skin was tighter. I just had revision surgery for my left side where my surgeon took extra skin out and fat grafted both sides. My left side is now much higher than my right side. Will the left drop to match the right side and how long does it usually take to drop?
Should I continue to massage my implants, I've been massaging for 4 weeks (2x per)? I noticed it has dropped considerably, worrying about bottoming out, since the implants was placed above muscle. In addition, will my breast shape eventually look more rounded or will it stay looking like now, which is more flatten out vs. round and natural? And will the massaging help change the shape of my breast?
I am in the process of breast reconstruction after two separate staged mastectomies. I had my right tissue expander filled to 480cc and then exchanged a week ago for a permanent silicone inspira implant 485g. Will my implant still drop and fluff even though a pocket was already created with the expander?
2 months post double mastectomy-undergoing expansion-prepping for implant exchange. 3 weeks ago expander pushed through muscle (still under the skin-but palpable "bubble"). Released to begin exercise but now affected area is over 5 cm long & breast dropped 1-2 inches. Am experiencing muscle spasms where Alloderm is attached. Concerned about exercise exacerbating problem and possibility of permanent muscle damage(am exercise freak).Don't care about size. Can dr. repair surgically? What to do?
