Hello, I had an uplift with implants in 2015. I haven't had any knocks or falls but I have developed a painful swelling in my armpit the last few months and my left breast has developed multiple lumps and a large crater like dimple under the breast along with persistent redness. My clinic has since closed down and I am unable to contact them. Shall I head to my GP? I am unsure of where to go. Thank you.
Yes. It's early in recovery but what in the fresh heck is going on here? I see dimple. Is this an insufficiently made pocket for a 600cc implant? Is this pissed of pec muscles that will chill out once things drop more? It's a big implant. I was a 34b before and she said I had enough tissue to handle them. It's making some ugly midline stuff happen. They still need to drop more I assume. Thanks for your help and info. Let me know if this is a similar case you have seen before and how it resolved.
The procedure I underwent was a Stereotactic core needle biopsy (info taken directly from the pathology report I was given). They did make about a quarter-inch incision before inserting the needle. My surgeon saw me about 4 days after the biopsy was performed, but since the dimple is only noticeable when I raise my arms, I hadn't noticed it yet.
I had a BA scheduled, had to delay it because of calcifications on my mammogram. I had a needle biopsy, which found benign fibrocystic changes. So, I've resceduled my BA for 6 weeks after the biopsy as my surgeon recommended. Now - 10 days after the biopsy - I have a noticeable dimple/dent in the lower part of my breast, and a palpable knot of scar tissue. I'm worried the dent and the lump will be very noticeable after my BA. How will a BA affect this, and is it worth correcting? How?
I had surgery 3 weeks ago and I notice one breast is different than the other and the areola on the left side is far from where it's suppose to be than the right and looks like my right breast has dimples on the incision from the areola to the bottom is this normal? The left one looks normal but the right breast looks kind of lopsided and weird
When I flex my left chest muscle, the incision site under my nipple dimples inward. I noticed after my 2 week post op exam that under the incision there is this "knot". I do not think that it is scar tissue. Could it be dissolvable stitches underneath? The dimpling is exactly where the "knot" is. My right breast does not do this. My right breast has not "dropped" completely yet either. But my left hasn't moved since the day after surgery or at least not much. Should I be worried?
