Hi! I recently noticed I'm doing this - flexing/contracting muscles around my nose - when speaking (attaching the photo). I didn't realise it before I saw it on a video someone took when I was talking. Can botox help with this and what muscle needs to get injected? Thank you!
I have always had some irregular indentations and bunching on my chin when I smile. I also have creases and indents when I speak. I know botox in the chin can help with orange peel chin when frowning, but my concern is with my chin when speaking/smiling. The dents and dimples that form are very noticeable and make me incredibly insecure. I am not interested in filler. I just want my chin to stay the same and not move much when I speak and smile so the dents dont form. Can it help? Thank you.
I had 1ml of filler in my lips 12 days ago and have been having speech problems since. Im struggling to say certain words without biting my tongue that almost feels too big for my mouth and my top lip seems to keep lifting by itself. Will this go away on its own over time?
I got my forehead injected with botox and while I was laying in the chair I noticed slurred speech for about 3 minutes, my injector got me an ice pack and I laid there til the symptoms subsided but I am looking to get this procedure done again but don't know if it's me, my injector, something uncommon, or if it could lead to something more severe.
Help! What can I do after 4 units of Botox in my chin left me unable to speak or smile? My smile is flat, my bottom lip covers my teeth, and right side sags down and shows space below my top teeth. My husband said I look freakish and friends are calling him to ask if I have health issues( a stroke or balls palsy)! The injection was 8 days ago and I struggle to speak, which sadly is what I do for a living. I went to a surgeon who is sponsored on this website. Any suggestions for improvement?
I was injected with 4 units of Botox. Two injections on each side of my philtrum columns. This was given to help raise my upper lip. I am 53. I am now concerned with eating and shaping words. I cannot hold a spoon or fork between my lips in order to get the food in my mouth properly. I think this is causing me to swallow too much food and it's making me worried. I was injected two days ago. Any advice?
I had Botox on Sunday on my forehead, frown line then asked for above the lips as I have started to see a few wrinkles. I'm worries as its been nearly 3 days and my top lip is getting numb each day..is this going to get worse?? Ive been doing Botox for 4 years now without issues but I'm so worried about being speech impaired. Can I do anything to create more traction in my lips?? Maybe some fave exercises??
I have smokers lines, which Im deeply unhappy about. Was recommended botox; $180 worth; and now only 1 day later my top lip is so numb I cannot speak properly. She said 7-10 days would get affects of it. Im so worried its going to get worse. Is there ANYTHING I can do? Please please help. I wish I had got fillers; but was $600, thats why opted for botox at $180. Please please any help/advice for now to stop it or lesson it? Or advice for the future? I live in Perth, Western Australia.
