I've had really intense jaw pain and headaches for years, but didn't realize how bad it had become until my dentist mentioned it during my last teeth cleaning since she heard my jaw clicking. She recommended a mouth guard, but it hasn't helped with my pain. I was wondering if botox would help with this, and if so, if it is covered by insurance? Additionally, is it something to bring up with a primary care doctor or a dentist? Thank you for any help!
When i last had botox injected 5 months ago in my forehead, i had a mild headache for about 10 days. I have had botox injected in the same area prior to this time with no issues. What could be the reason for this? I love the results and would still like to have treatments minus the headaches if possible.
Ive been getting Botox for the past couple years but have been noticing a worsening line going down my forehead as well as a continuously tight headache feeling. Im not sure if this is normal from the heaviness of the Botox
I had Botox 1 week ago and have had a horrible horrible headache for a week. My forehead feels heavy and my right eye is achy and heavy. Nothing helps! I thought Botox was supposed to eliminate headaches but this has caused a tremendous one that is relentless. Will I have to suffer for 4 months until this wears off? Dear God, that would be awful. Please help:(
I have had Botox 4 times so far. 3 times I had severe pain. The only time I didn't feel pain I remember the doctor injected on the top of forehead only. But all other times Botox was injected in middle and bear eyebrows. I really don't know why I am having this. The pain is severe that is waking me up and comes in different times in the day. Panadol helps relief it a little but not completely. What you suggest ? Are there any exercises I can do or maybe specific medicine?
I had Botox injections 3 times in my life. After each time I get terrible headache(cluster headache ) that awaken me from sleep. It lasts usually 10 days after injection and gradually lose its intensity. I think it is not coincidence to have headache after each Botox injection. Do you think Botox affects trigeminal neuralgia? My doctor who injected me has no interpretation on what is going on. I really regret injecting Botox. My life has became terrible due to the cluster headache
I am almost 3 months out from Botox. As my forehead became tighter my temples began hurting and I have have tension like headaches since . Seeing a neurologist who does see headaches post Botox in about 5 percent of patients . Trying to future out a medicine that works but no luck yet ... and of course waiting for Botox to wear off ... any suggestions ??
Botox 7 days ago in my forehead, side of eyes, and frown lines~32 units. Noticed effects around day 3. I started feeling a pulling sensation on the top of my forehead. The pulling feeling continued to move further back on my forehead. Today at day 7 its at the mid back of my head. The sensation moved down the side of my face. Headache since day one. My brows are lower I cant hardly lift them at all. Day 3 and 4 I also had brief dizziness. I also havent felt well. Will it worsen? Advice?
I received Botox 8 weeks ago in my forehead, frown lines and neck. I used a very reputable doctor and the result was fantastic and I had no side effects. I recently experienced a week of bad menstrual headaches and in the last 2 days my forehead, between my eyes and my eyebrows feel very tense and under pressure and a bit heavy. There is no change physically. Could this the Botox that has been impacted by the headaches in some way?
My first day I felt a bit foggy and headachy, but fine right after. Now 5 days later, I have begun feeling nauseas, light headed, and dizzy, and I see that others have also experienced flu-like symptoms post Botox as well. How can I tell if these symptoms are related, and if they are, how long can I expect these side effects to last?
