Hi, I am 10 days out post brachioplasty (I also had a breast lift w/ implants at the same time. I had my drains removed at my 1 week appointment but everything seems to have gone downhill from there. My arms are profusely leaking, mostly clear/bloody fluid to the point that I am soaking through layers of gauze, my compression, and clothing. My armpit incision seems to have opened up. I called my surgeon, they said to put Vaseline and cover with gauze but I am still very concerned. Please advise.
I am on day 10 after brachioplasty with liposuction and I am still experiencing a burning sensation in both arms. With walking longer in duration than 10 minutes, my arms begin to feel tight and I have tingling Sensations in the forearm and wrist, with tightness and burning in the upper arm.
Brachioplasty was 10 days ago, yesterday while cooking felt a gush of warm blood running down my side, been putting pressure but blood hasn't stopped, blood is very dark red, surgery was in Mexico, not sure what to do now, scared I'm slowly bleeding to death, think maybe I need more stitches, how long should I wait for bleeding to stop before I do something else? I have a video of the bleeding but can't upload it, I uploaded stills from the video.
I have a continuous burning sensation under right arm. I am 10 days post op. I thought it was due to my garment rubbing. I cannot see incision due to tape covering it, but the incision was closed when I got stitches taken out at 7 days post op. is this normal?
It's been itching like crazy and it's very red along and around the scars. My doctor put me on a&d, and I've been also using tricalm. It's still itching like the world is about to end. Please help!
