My Dr raised my nose tip higher because he said I have thick skin and made it a feminine angle. But I feel like it is abnormally high. Google says the tip only drops a little the first 6 weeks and after that the angle stays the same for lifetime. Is this true or will it drop more so it looks more natural?
Hello. I had rhinoplasty surgery seven months ago. My nose skin is medium-thick, oily, and has big pores. After cast removal, the nose tip was small and nice. Till 4-5 months my entire nose was swollen but looked good, but then the swelling subsided by my nasal bridge and now my nose looks long. Does my nose tip become smaller and my nose look more nice? Thank you.
I'm wondering why does the nose look so much more defined and small at the nasal tip right after cast and tape removal but ends up looking a LOT bigger after one year? It could not be just that the tapes compress any edema from the nasal tip because even if I tape my nose now overnight and remove it, it does not look much different from my regular nose directly after removal. Is this SMAS or dermal thickening? If scar tissue, what tissue layer is this in?
I had two surgeries to address the bridge and tip of my nose respectively. They were both performed open and did not involve correcting any work done prior. I am wondering what the waiting time for a third surgery would be- does the nature of the third surgery (deprojection) make a difference?
Hello, I had my rhinoplasty 6 months ago, and i'm worried my nose is crooked at the tip. my nostrils are also uneven. my nose looked straighter right after cast removal, so i'm wondering if this is just swelling thats causing the asymmetry. I have medium-thick skin.
Pictures attached, sorry theyre low quality. Im a trans guy on testosterone right now and my skin has been much more oily than usual (Ive been having acne problems). Other than that, theres been nothing else unusual going on. Never had a rhinoplasty. Could this be a sign of something serious? Or just a natural development (possibly from testosterone changes? Is there anything I can do to make this mark go away?
Hello ! I'm satisfied about my nose height - dorsum. I just want slimmer tip of my nose (it gets obviously wide especially when I smile) and get the tip more firmer (I guess its a little bit soft). What is the safest method you advise and more details are welcome! My skin is a bit oily, don't know if its thick. Thank you in advance!
Hello, I've posted before about asymmetry that I had on my nasal bridge after rhino. This has corrected itself but now I'm wondering if these harsh lines on either side of my nose tip will soften up or is this permanent and due to the rib graft that they used? I still have a lot of swelling in my tip, 5 months post up this month.
