How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

I don't usually write reviews, but if my story can...

I don't usually write reviews, but if my story can give hope to anyone looking for a revision, then it is worth it. I've had 5 rhinoplasties, the 5th one (4th revision) done by Doctor Becker. I was so hopeless for so many years. My last rhinoplasty wasn't horrible, but it just looked odd on my face. I went to 8 consultations, all of which the doctors gave me the line ... "the enemy of good is better" in one form or another. That translates to the doctors didn't have the eyes or the skills to fix my nose. So I decided to fly across the country (I live in Denver) and consult with Doctor Becker. Immediately he was able to verbalize exactly what was wrong with my nose. Then I was waiting, or should I say "anticipating", him to turn me down and tell me to leave well enough alone. Well, he didn't do that! He said it would be an easy fix. His sincerity and humbleness just gave me a sense of comfort. I had no double I was going to do this one last time. All I can say is WOW! His work is spectacular and 1000% better than what I thought it would be. It looks better than the computer imaging we did. I am now 3 weeks post op (surgery was on May 23). I was back to work in 1 week and had no visible swelling. Almost zero pain, just a little sore on day 1, about a 3 on a 10 scale. Having been through so many rhinoplasties, I have learned quite a few valuable lessons. First an foremost, if you don't like the way your nose looks after 2 weeks, you will never like it. The doctors might tell you that its just swelling, but I've never had the nose miraculously change after 2 weeks. Yes, it forms over time, but it is essentially or more refined version of what you have 2 weeks after surgery. My nose on day 4 when he took the bandages off was beautiful with very lille swelling! I just couldn't believe it. I may post some pictures in a few weeks. Dr. Becker is truly gifted, a compassionate human benign, and has the artful eye that can see what almost no other doctor could see. I am forever thankful. I find myself looking people in the eyes again. Also, I was at a function this past week and two absolutely gorgeous ladies introduced themselves to me out of nowhere. It has been so long since that has happened to me, it felt good. This hadn't happen to me since before I ever had my first rhinoplasty. I am so happy its ridiculous. Thank you Dr. Becker!
