Not even a month post op
I love my nose so much, it's so beautiful! Exactly the way I wanted it to look. My breathing has never ever been better and I'm so happy. I feel like I made the best decision to go with Dr Reisch. He is not only a top doctor but his bedside matter was incredible made me feel so comfortable. I am so thankful.
Fixed medical and cosmetic issue
I am 37 years old and have been contemplating rhinoplasty since I was a teen to fix my nose that I broke twice as a child. However as I got older, especially for the last 5 years I started having issues breathing, my nostrils would constantly flare in especially when I was working out and heavy breathing.
So I started researching surgeons in my area NYC that have a great reputation, I went to a few consultations and booked one with Dr Reisch, it was a virtual consultation.
First I have never done a virtual consultation with something so major I was considering. But Dr Reisch immediately knew the medical issues I was having by looking at my nose and flaring nostrils and he had the same vision for the cosmetic part as I did (basically my nose but more symmetric and proportionate).
After the first consultation I went on social media and found 2 of his former patients that talked about their journey. I contacted them and they both were telling me how happy they were it's everything and had absolutely no regrets.
Definitely was scared to proceed having only done a virtual consultation and he does not do the after picture photoshop but I felt that he was the best doctor to proceed with because of his background, education, his experience, the after pictures, his positive reviews, his demeanor and the fact that he truly listened to me. Something rare about Dr Reisch is that he gave me his personal cellphone and I was able to text him about any questions and he would answer right away.
Before the surgery the office and doctor helped me get the medical portion of the surgery covered by insurance, Ebony helped me out so much she was so nice to me, the nurses helped answer so many questions, doctor answered so many questions and I felt as if everyone truly cared and there was constant immediate communication.
I had my surgery at the Ear nose and throat hospital on 6/20. Before the surgery Dr Reisch came and examined me better. He actually spent a lot of time going through everything, I was so anxious but after he really made me feel comfortable because he went through everything. The anesthesiologist came and spoke to me for a while too, she was absolutely amazing as well. I truly KNEW I was in good hands.
I don't remember much moments after I woke up from the surgery but later on that night the doctor messages me to make sure I'm okay, goes over the care, next morning he messages me again and he continues messaging me throughout the week to make sure I am doing okay!!!! I NEVER EVER EVER had experienced a doctor with this type of bedside manner!!! I knew exactly what I was expecting with the healing process and the doctor was there for me always. AMAZING!!!
I took my cast off last week, it is very swollen, I still have black eyes but my nose is looking good. I admit, when you first take off your cast be ready because the appearance might look not the way you want it but there is a normal healing process which the doctor explained. When they took my cast off my nose was so swollen, bridge was so swollen and nose upright but right now a week later it's starting to look so good and the scar from the open rhinoplasty is almost TOTAL gone. Also I can BREATHE better than I have ever!!!! I can't wait to see how my nose progresses...
I WILL update this review with pictures but I feel as if I want to heal more to post pictures because he did such an amazing job.
