Day 16 and I feel great. I haven't had a pain pill during the day for the past week. only taking 1/2 pill at night to help me sleep and Tylenol during the day. I just hope they stay this full. Although I know there is still swelling......

I'm 49 years old, 117 pounds, 5'4 tall and I was a 32aa bra size. I've always had a small frame, even after one child.
My maraige of 20 years ended and I decided I would do something for my self. BOOBIES!!!! So last year in October I had my first BA. Mentor Smooth Round High Profile Saline filled to 340cc left and 350cc right under the mucle. By the fourth month in they looked bad. Not happy at all....... I realize now after looking at the before and after pics that after the first BA my breast basically looked like the original ones stuffed with tennis balls. At my 4month check up I discussed my issues with my PS. The ever growing gap between my breast, the size difference ( my right breast was naturally smaller than the left so he added more cc'so to the right breast to even them out but it was still visibly smaller. ) and the fact that the left breast was way,way lower than the right. I had already done my reasurch and knew something could be done to correct these issues and I was totally willing to pay more to have them the way I wanted them and really expected them to look after going through all of this. His reaction was very muhhhh....... He didn't want to talk revision. Just suggested going back in and tacking the pocket. He said there was nothing he could do to give me more cleavage. Really just ignoring my concerns and setting them aside. Suggesting that we revisit the issues in 6 months. At that point I new I needed to get a second opinion and I began my search for a new PS. Thanks to RealSelf I was able to search for doctors that worked on breast augmentation revision surgery and I found Dr. Christopher Morea in Raliegh, NC. Dr. Morea was a 4 hour drive from me in Greenville,SC but I was willing to travel. He was awesome! Really taking the time to explain what needed to be done and sitting with me, going through revision photos that he had done and explaining them to me. This is what he suggested be done, exchange saline to silicone, left internal pocket modification with sutures and ADM. I felt great on the morning of surgery, a little nervous but the staff was awsome and they really took care of me easing my fears. The new implants are Mentor MemoryGel 550cc in both. They look awesome!!!! Just the way I invisioned they should. I'm so excited to see how they will look in a few months! I'll continue to update with picks in the up coming weeks. Wish I would have found Dr. Morea a year ago.......

I am absolutely thrilled to have found Dr. Morea! Thank you RealSelf. He is very personable and totally honest with what needed to be done. I wish I would have found him the first time around. His staff was excellent and also very personable. My revision is awesome, very natural, full breast and I have cleavage!!!!! No more tennis ball boobs. Well worth the 4 hour drive from SC. Amazing experience. I would recommend him to anyone. In fact my 30 year old daughter needs a mommy makeover and she is in PA! It would be totally worth it getting her to Dr. Morea in NC.
