48 Years Old, 18 Year Old Saline Implants Exchanged for Silicone and Revision - New York, NY

After 18 years with my saline implants, I thought about an exchange for a year now. Unlike my first experience, I decided to take my time and go on as many consultations until I found the right doctor. Well, at my fifth and final consultation I met with Dr. Adam Schaffner. He took his time with my consult and was very thorough. My first set of implants never dropped into the pocket so I was all top breast. I was hoping this was fixable and Dr. Schaffner assured me it was. Not only was Dr. Schaffner smart, he was very nice and I never felt insecure about my prior "botched" surgery. What I liked most about him is he is a surgeon first. He hasn't gone all "Hollywood" like some of these plastic surgeons out there. He seemed very confident in his ability without being cocky. He gave me his cell number and his entire team from the front desk staff to his operating room staff were extremely accommodating and thorough as well. The entire experience was a great one. I am now 3 days post op and feel good. I never even took a pain killer. I am also extremely happy with my results thus far. My bottom pockets were opened and my breasts are sitting where they are supposed to be. I highly recommend Dr. Adam Schaffner, and I would refer him without hesitation.
