Happy Ending to a 10 Year Nightmare - Miami, FL

It all started 10 years ago with a much needed breast augmentation. My lifelong dream of having boobs turned into a nightmare shortly after. Within 3 months, I had developed capsular contracture on my right breast. After surgical revision, I then developed CC on my left breast. I got that fixed only to have it come back for a third time. I lived in pain and discomfort for years, afraid to complain to my loved ones because they would worry and embarrassed to share it with friends because nobody likes to admit that their surgical procedure has gone wrong, three times wrong! Capsular Contracture, by the way, is painful and unattractive. I lacked symmetry and I struggled to find the right undergarments and clothing to try and mask the problem for the world around me. Finally, I found Dr. Perez-Gurri who handled my case with expertise and much care. He took the time to hear my long medical history and made some suggestions that scared me at first. Deciding to trust him and follow all his directions was definitely the right move. He suggested to switch my saline implants to the new memory gels, to completely remove the capsules on both of my breasts, and to put me on Accolate for two months after my surgery. I followed everything to perfection. Surgery day was great. I was pampered by Dr. Gurri and his staff. At times I felt like I was having a day at the spa as opposed to an operation. Recovery was smooth, too. I never even needed the pain killers prescribed. To make a long story short, I now have bouncy, soft, manageable breasts that make me feel confident and yes.....a little bit sexy!
