This was a revision of a a rhinoplasty with Dr....
Provider Review
I really hate writing bad reviews but I met with this doctor three times about how disappointed I was with my revision. I had a revision and alarplasty after a terrible rhinoplasty in Dallas. I thought Dr. Funk could do my revision but I was terribly wrong. The alarplasty left me with two uneven nostrils and my nose looks worse now than before. Here is the thing about Dr. Funk....if you are a revision and he screws it up you are on your own. He will not take responsibility, send you to someone who help...zero, nothing. I really thought he was honorable, but found out I was so wrong. I have since been to four other surgeons, one I really trust, (Dr.Kridel) who has told me the alar procedure must be done again. I also have ptosis of my tip because the cartlidge Dr. Funk used was not strong enough. So if you are thinking of a revision with Dr. Funk make sure to ask him if he will help you if things do not turn out well. He also loves to say we are looking for improvement. I really tried to be honest and give him an opportunity to help me before writing this review. I will take responsibility for three things....ever having a rhinoplasty, choosing my first doctor, and choosing Dr. Funk. Too embarrassed to upload pictures so don’t ask. Dr. Kridel 17000 plus hospital costs add up to 25000 so I am saving up the money for a third surgery, Think twice about a primary rhinoplasty and don’t use Funk for your revision.
