Almost 2 years post op!

I have not updated in nearly 2 years, but I felt it was important to give a review on the entire process. Before, immediately after, and a few years after my rhinoplasty.

My nose was swollen for a long time, like 8-12 months! When I look back on photos of my first year, I can see the different stages of my healing based on the swelling. Now that I am completely healed, I can say that I really love my nose. I don't miss my natural nose at all, when I look back at pictures I'm 100% happy I went through with it because it's one of the best decisions I have ever made.
The anxiety and nerves pre-op and right after surgery were all worth it in the end because feeling like your nose is truly what you've always wanted it to be is the greatest feeling, you can not put a price tag on confidence and happiness!

I am happy to send pictures of my before, post op, and current nose for anyone who wants to see pictures so feel free to message me.

Update on my rhinoplasty with Dr. G

Thank you all reassuring me about the swelling, it has now been almost 6 months since my surgery and I'm happy to say that most of the swelling has dissipated! I have noticed that the swelling from the bridge of my nose and between my eyes has completely gone down (I hated looking like an Avatar) and I believe the only minimal swelling left is at the tip of my nose. I'm sure within the next six months that will go down as well.
I'm really happy with the results! I didn't show Dr. G any pictures of noses that I wanted because some friends who had previously gone to him advised me not to since it would ruin the image that the doctor has of what your nose should look like. I took her advice because ultimately you want your nose to still look like YOUR nose, and not a carbon copy of someone else's. I believe a highly skilled surgeon will be able to give you the best version of your nose, without making it look like every other persons. My nose is just a way better version of my old nose, it frames my face perfectly and has soften my entire appearance overall.
During my consultation, I expressed that I didn't want a slopey nose, (some girls want and request this), but I personally wanted it to look as natural as possible, and he definitely delivered exactly what I wanted! Overall, my surgery was quick and painless, and even though it's been 6 months it feels like I've had this nose my entire life, its as if I never had surgery to begin with. Dr. G makes the process very smooth and effortless, it was a lot easier than I had imagined.

I apologize for not having posted any pictures, I took my swollen pictures down because that was at the VERY early stages and my nose has completely changed since then. Before my surgery, I looked through many before and afters from other women who were open and helpful enough to show their journey, these pictures really helped me feel confident in Dr. G's work and extremely calm through out the entire process. I feel that it's only fair that I also show my before and after pictures to anyone who is about to have rhinoplasty in hopes of making them feel more relaxed and ready. I'll post up a before and after at the end of this month!

I had rhinoplasty with dr. G exactly 15 days ago....

I had rhinoplasty with dr. G exactly 15 days ago. I think he did an amazing job aesthetically, it looks natural and fits my face, but as my swelling has gone down I've noticed some things that are concerning me. I've posted pictures to show the areas of my nose that are worrying me in hopes that you guys can give me some advice, I'm not sure if this is the normal healing process and I'm just being a little too worried or if this is something I should be concerned about.
I noticed after my cast was taken off that one side of my nostril looked smaller, but I figured it was due to the swelling, however since the swelling has minimized I still notice that the right side of my septum has a bump which makes that nostril uneven and smaller than my left nostril.
Also, I noticed there is a bump on the outer right side of my nose, same side as the smaller nostril, and again I thought it must be due to the swelling, but the left side is smooth so I'm not really sure why I have a bump on just the right side.
Has anyone else experienced the same issues? Is this something I should be concerned about or is this normal? I would really like some feedback.
